Well, you've read the notes, the notes were psychological and had no reserve, and now it is time for you to post until the non-reserved cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: STEGANOGRAPHY!
-
And now - Dino at the piano.
-
First post after MR BK!
It's been a long time since I was first!

Ticket selling vibes for BRAINEX!
Continued work vibes for MR BK & Cos.

Today is Thursday. Make of that what you will.
I am not sure, but judging by all of the posts on BookFace, the Chicago Cubs won the Super Bowl last night.

TOD:
Where Eagles Dare
Friendly Persuasion
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse - especially the 1961 version
I have to go with Where Eagles Dare as well. I can watch it over and over again and never get bored. Can't tell you why but it is one of my favorite films up there with Casablanca that I watch again and again which I guess we can consider a war/anti-war film.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I was awake way too early this morning, but insisted on not getting up until a slightly more respectable hour.
-
(You call this respectable?)
-
Coffee!
-
Good morning, all!

I had a long dream about the Big Announcement.
-
On CBS, they are interviewing a group of millennials about their candidate choices. Some of them are dumber than bags of hair.
-
I may have some banking today, but I'm mostly hanging around the apartment. I have that choral arrangement to work on. the piano solo is coming up and I need to sketch out somethng before I commit it to paper.
-
DR ChasSmith, those cookies are really addictive.
-
I had a long dream about the Big Announcement.
Any estimated timing for the announcement?
Break a leg!

I'm waiting on the contract. I thought everything would be settled by now.

So far this morning I've resisted the siren song of the cookies. We'll see how long that lasts.
-
Well, I guess I'll do my banking before the rains come.
-
Good morning.
-
I washed the cars inside and out yesterday.
I woke up to wind and rain this morning.
-
Thursday morning greetings! We stayed up last night to watch Cleveland lose the World Series. Actually, I really didn't care how it turned out and I'm glad for the Cubs' Kyle Schwarber, who's from Middletown, and for all my friend and relatives who are Cubs fans.
-
You would think, after being up 'til 1:30am, I'd have been able to sleep in. No, 8am and I was wide awake, ready for coffee. I'm also about halfway through Hillbilly Elegy and wanted to read a bit this morning before meeting Becky for lunch.
-
I'm up, I'm up, thanks to two robo calls.
-
Ooh, we sold another ticket.
-
They're going like hotcakes.....Lisa Douglas' hotcakes.....although she called them veatcakes.
-
Is it possible some of your friends are getting tickets through some other ticket-handling group?
Or would they all be reporting the info to you anyway?
-

;D
I am still frustrated I could not get Keith to watch it. Thanks goodness for facebook last night. It kept the game exciting. I had to laugh at the number of people who had to walk away from watching as the tension was too much. Of course they couldn't stay away either.

Fun day driving around the Cretan countryside.

We have some up at Goldstar but I'm not sure any of those have sold and they certainly haven't sold to anyone I know. We sold one more ticket since I last posted, so ticket sales are WAY up for today. Two. I'm nauseated and just hoping people actually do what they tell me they're going to do - buy tickets.

DR Ginny--to answer your question: I took Route 29 on the way to Charlottesville but not on the way back.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn, which was also just off Route 29, probably near your hotel.

I haven't much to report.

I do have a question for DR Elmore, however:
When you have encountered the various supernatural phenomena, i.e., ghosts, did you ever have any interaction with them or were they just something that you saw a few yards away? Did they do anything more than just reveal themselves?
Inquiring minds wish to know.

I would hope so! :))

No interaction ar all, DR Jeanne, although my mother insisted in 1957, when she was pregnant with my brother Randy, that her father, whose ghost was seen by several people in my parents' house, came into her room and talked with her. when she got her senses and asked, aren't you dead?, he vanished. For years into the 1970s we could hear him walking across the attic between 2:00am and 4:00am, the footsteps would begin over the living room, walk to the staiys and down, then stop at the door. Twenty minutes or so later, it would occur again.
In this building I occasionally see things out of the corner of my eye, like the suicide's ghost at the mail boxes, or him walking across the hall and through my door. My neighbor who lives in his apartment says she's seen him on occasion and she hears voices, like me, but we don't know if they are actually talking to us or just ontinuing their own existence.

Well, I'm off! I'm ushering for the National Broadway Tour of Once (http://www.washingtoncenter.org/event/the-national-broadway-tour-of-once/)! I hope that I don't have to take tickets. You have to count them before you get to go into the theater. If I REALLY want to see a show (like this one), I REALLY don't want to take tickets. Sometimes they ask what people would like to do, but lately, they've been assigning positions, so I may not have a choice. :P
Anyway, be back later!

;D Yes, you should.

The sky was very pretty when I came into my office to vote for my Goodreads best books. They do this once a year.
When I finished I left my office to discover the sky aflame. We had an incredible sunset with the red sky reflecting off of the river. I am sorry I don't have photo. We just wanted to enjoy it.
-
To my surprised I had not read any of the books in the fiction or fantasy groups.
-
I had a difficult time deciding between my two favorite books in the historical fiction (I had liked both very much) and my two favorite in the mystery/thriller grouping.
-
I added couple of books from the lists to my library holds and marked others to be read.
-
Things are running much more smoothly at work without the person who was fired

We still need to hire another assistant

Of course we are entering the slow period of the year, people don't like to move around the holidays
-

Excellent.
-

It seems to me that the slow season is a good time to train a new person.
-
Has the site been down?
-
I need to finish a book and get some sleep. I have to be up early tomorrow.
-
Let's see - I come home from a rehearsal and we are on page THREE? That doesn't even get a REALLY. That gets, um, no, we're not doing this. I'd suggest a frenzy or three.
-
Good evening!
-
Page 3?? Really?
-
Page Four
-
Some of the problem may be the slowness of the site.
-
I'm just saying.
-
It is not down, just slow.
-
That was faster.
-
I just got home from rehearsal
-
With this post total, I guess I don't even have time to read the day's posts.
-
I drove all the way home from rehearsal wearing my cheaters.
-
I thought something was wrong but I couldn't figure out what it was.
-
I am an idiot.
-
This was one of the two rehearsals set up for me in a wheelchair accessible location.
-
It was only three of us at the rehearsal.
-
Has the site been slow?
-
Almost all of my scenes are between George Bailey and myself only.
-
So the rehearsal was me, George, and my friend Tracy who is Ma Bailey.
-
Has the site been slow?
It was when I signed on.
-
Ma Bailey scenes are also with just George, so we kept George busy at this rehearsal.
-
Our first rehearsal at the theater is November 14.
-
We preview on November 23.
-
You do the math.
-
And that has to include two nights of tech rehearsals.
-
Pretty scary!
-
Actually I did better on my lines than I thought I would.
-
It is hard to know how you are doing when all the time spent learning lines is alone.
-
So I didn't make a fool of myself.
-
Why are the three Guests just sitting there instead of posting??
-
Why isn't anybody rambling except me?
-
Vixmom is hopefully asleep.
-
Jane is also asleep (I hope).
-
And George is still ushering.
-
Page Five
-
I forgot that ONCE was coming to Tacoma and Olympia.
-
Oh well, I wouldn't have gone anyway, because of wheelchair seating.
-
It is a pain.
-
Of course, I am going to the theater on Saturday to see DRACULA.
-
Not my choice.
-
One of the old actors is playing Dr. Van Helsing, and he kind of guilt-tripped me into seeing the show.
-
He is very good about seeing me in shows.
-
Still, I thought I had paid my penance when I saw him last spring in DEATH OF A SALESMAN.
-
I thought that should have been good for a couple of years.
-
But I also have another friend in the show.
-
And I have met the director who is a friend of George.
-
I have got to sign off of this computer and get ready for bed.
-
I will be back in a few minutes.
-
Maybe George will be home by then.
-
BRB
-
I have returned.
-
Of course, no one knew I was gone.
-
Except for our 1 Guest, who has now left.
-
It was a beautiful fall day today.

It was wonderful! And I didn't have to take tickets, so I got to see the whole show. However, I was in the mezzanine, so I wasn't very close.

Afterward, my friend Margo and I went to Applebee's for a late night snack and now I'm home.

Hi, Tom!

Did you have half-price appetizers?

Hi, Tom!
Hi, George!

The best part was that the live Miss Saigon (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01LYT5JDC/) arrived from England!

I did. I had the chicken quesadillas. Quite good.
