Have you ever seen the show?

I saw it at the 5th Avenue Theater years ago.  Louis Hobson was Chris.  He's originally from Washington, and he went on to be in the original Broadway cast of Next to Normal.

I'll also stop in at the nice Barnes and Noble there to see what damage I can do in the Criterion department.

I know!  The audience gave the show a standing O.  I've seen standing ovations for a lot of individual performers or musical groups, but not a lot of scripted shows.  This one really deserved it. :)

Button up your overcoat
When the wind is free
Take good care of yourself
You belong to me

Eat an apple every day
Get to bed by three
Oh, take good care of yourself
You belong to me

Be careful crossing streets, ooh, ooh
Cut out sweets, ooh, ooh
Lay off meat, ooh, ooh
You'll get a pain and ruin your tum-tum

Wear your flannel underwear
When you climb a tree
Oh, take good care of yourself
You belong to me

In the immortal words of Cary Grant:

Did I remember to tell you you're delightful
You're everything I want you to be
Your eyes are lovely and far beyond comparing,
Especially when they're glaring at me!

I can't make up words to say how swell you are
But I can tell you are, I know so well you are
I started falling, the moment that I saw you
Believe me I adore you Cherie!

I think it is good to know what your sugar levels are when you aren't being good.  It is a reminded to be.  Do you have a kit to keep track of your own levels on a daily basis?

I hope you are pleased.  I asked if I need to go to the hospital which one she uses.  She said I could pick as most doctors don't see their patients in the hospital anymore.  There is hospital staff for that.  I knew this was true but it is still bothersome to hear it.

I went to a pre-retirement seminar yesterday.

Very enlightening.

VERY encouraging.

My last words will probably be "welcome to Walmart"

Button up your overcoat
When the wind is free
Take good care of yourself
You belong to me

Eat an apple every day
Get to bed by three
Oh, take good care of yourself
You belong to me

Be careful crossing streets, ooh, ooh
Cut out sweets, ooh, ooh
Lay off meat, ooh, ooh
You'll get a pain and ruin your tum-tum

Wear your flannel underwear
When you climb a tree
Oh, take good care of yourself
You belong to me

Oh, gosh,  I had no idea you cared.  :-*

  The feelings moooootual

Apparently, Chris Christie has been found "guilty" in the bridgegate scandal.

Oh no, he was not charged nor indicted , it was two of his underlings that are facing some heavy jail time... Wonder if they are expecting the giv to pardon them, his former. Deputy (the woman) was in tears but the other (the man) was all smiles

DR VIXMOM isn't it funny how one @SS can mess up an entire office?

Good news!

You said it, brother! And everyone is happier now

But does this mean that you'll have to work even more hours than your "usual" 27 hours a day?

;)

I am guessing there is less work if DR Vixmom is not constantly fixing errors and soothing problems out with the customers.

We went to Beaches for dinner tonight.  Last time we were there we donated to their fundraiser and received two $10.00 off coupons we used tonight.  Beaches does not accept reservations, unless you reserve a table for a fee which they donate to a charity.  They are charity minded.  I like that.

Dos Equis sent the most interesting man in the world to Mars and now they are trying to run the commercials again with a new (younger) most interesting man in the world.

Sorry Dos Equis, you lost my interest

Back from a productive second rehearsal - managed to get all of act two done.  Although it's shorter than act one, it's much more complicated, so I was very happy to get through it all, and that includes the big Brain Tap number.  In fact, as we did yesterday, we finished an hour early so we could drill some numbers and run a few things musically.

It is still vegetarian, not vegan, and not very healthy ;)  I would have skipped the source cream.

There are about twenty plays nominated, but we are still in the running, although a production of AMADEUS is waaaay ahead with about 18% of the vote.

Anyway, we won't win because it is basically a popularity contest and the Seattle area theaters have more people to vote for their theaters
