Well, you've read the notes, the notes were sans stumbles, and now it is time for you to post until the non-stumbling cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: GUERDON!
-
First post after BK!
-
Second post after BK!

Just had to share...again. :D

George, how big a house did you have tonight?
-
George, how big a house did you have tonight?
The official count was 17.
-
Good!
-
Well, I have to get ready for bed, and since I don't know the WIFI password for the iPad, I need to sign off for the night.
-
Good night, George.
-
Well, I need to go to bed, too. I'm meeting Jane and Keith at the Lakewood Applebee's before we go see Tom in It's a Wonderful Life.
-
Good night, George.
Good night, Tom.
-
Good morning, all!
-
It's too warm here: I'm not getting to sleep until the apartment heat is turned off for the night and the apartment cools down . After midnight, I slept well. I had a dream that I was composing a chamber piece, "Water Music," and was trying to get access to a photocopy machine.
-
BK, about your computer glitch last night: Do you have any anti-virus or anti-spyware protection on your computer? That might be the agent blocking you. In early 2014, during the mess with my back and everything, I had opened an email that I believed was from the Post Office. It led to security problems and my Mac Mechanic suggested I get a program that literally took over my computer and within a year had shut me down completely. As soon as I removed it from this new Mac, I had no more problems.

I must run this morning to the market. Once I'm home, I want to look over the "Hot Patata" and make some adjustments and fixes. Robe's sending me a new assignment today.
-
I've also got to get back to Guys & Dolls. We need to start on the piano-conductor score.
-
Good morning, all.
-
It's really too early to think.
-
Great photo, Jane, George and Tom!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Not trying to think, trust me on that.
-
Coffee!
-
Wonderful to see and hear all the details about the Northwest get-together and shows!
-
Yes, and that's a great picture, youse guys.
-
Show vibes for BK!

Something I've been procrastinating on, which I'll do today, is take the snowblower out, get it running for a few minutes, make any adjustments necessary, and know it's ready to use. There are a couple of light shower or mix days in the forecast, which won't call for my using it, but ... they're a warning that it's time to be prepared.

Show vibes for BK!
Yep!
Break A Leg!

For fun stuff, I look forward to cleaning and auditioning the rest of my Menotti records.
I opened the Maria Golovin box set for a peek yesterday to find there was no booklet of notes and libretto. That's pretty unusual for an opera recording; people who collected classical recordings rarely lost parts of these sets. My first thought was, okay, no biggie, go on eBay and pick up a dirt cheap copy and scavenge the book. Well, guess what? Not one listing. There are three from Amazon sellers: for $70, $150, and $255. Hahaha, thanks but no thanks, guys. I'll find one someday.
Interestingly, there are no other recordings. Naxos had issued this one on a CD reissue, quite possibly from LP but it doesn't say, and there are just a few of those on Amazon. But their notes on the back say the LP is rare. Oops. That CD includes the Violin Concerto from its RCA LP (all of this is from the mono days), and I have that, too, so I do hope these are in good shape.

Show vibes for BK!
Yep!
Break A Leg!
And another!

Hmm. Looks like our Midwestern DRs are getting some ... well, let's just say "weather", shall we? :)
Hang in there, guys! And whatever you do, don't send it over this way!! (I'm probably too late on that part.)
-
Home from market, I need to tidy this dump before i can do anything.
-
I assume Larry doesn't really care ll that much about such things, but it looks like he could hit 40,000 any hour now!

Absolutely right, DR FJL!. I couldn't care less about the number of posts I've made.
-
Sunday morning greetings! Everyone else in our household is at church and I'm enjoying some solitude.
-
Holiday show vibes for BK and Company!
-
DR George, I enjoyed all the photos. Thanks for posting them. The keychains close up look even better than I realized just holding them ;D
-
The photos were great!
-
Loved the photos! Continued theatre party vibes for the PNW contingent of HHW!
Dental vibes for DR VIXMOM.
Voice vibes for Mr BK.

SHOW vibes for MR BK & Co.
SHOW vibes for DR TCB!

We have a December year end wrap meeting board meeting today at 5 p.m. Hopefully even with food and talk it won't go on fo'ever and fo'ever.
-
DR TCB, sometimes on your desktop, in the bottom tray, you can click on the little square that says "Internet/Network" or something like that....and find your WiFi....maybe clicking there you can change the password, or it will show up, and by counting the asterisks you can figure out what the password is.
-
Rain is predicted for today......with very cold temperatures and snow/rain starting on Tuesday!

Thank you for the suggestion, DR Jrand, but I couldn't find anything there that would help my brain recall the password. I guess I will plan on being on "hold" all day tomorrow calling Century Link.
-
Great pic posted yesterday!
-
Sorry it didn't work DR TCB.
-
I'm up, I'm up - I do think I got almost nine hours of sleep. I need to de-guck and the jog will help that.
-
Break everyone's legs!
-
Spent some time sampling some nice Menotti works. Most enjoyable.
Now, to scare up something to eat, and run out to a store for a few things for tonight and tomorrow.
-
I shall now be on my way to the final board meeting of 2016!
-
Page two? Really?
-
Did a two-and-a-half mile jog.
-
Now I'll start getting ready. I've been relaxing and keeping my trap shut. I'll start warming up in the shower, but the jog helped with the de-gucking process.
-
Shortly I shall be on my way to The Federal for sound check and then show.
-
Break a leg, BK!!!
-
Bruce, have a good show
-
We left George visiting Tom and are headed home. Tom deserves the fantastic reviews he received.
-
Page 2? Still?
-
This will take us over.
-
!!! 3 !!!
-
And about time.
-
Good evening.
-
Show vibes for BK!
Yep!
Break A Leg!
And another dose!
-
The rain continues to pour down.
-
It stopped a few times, which was good because it let some of it run off.
-
But it's supposed to rain off and on throughout tonight and tomorrow.
-
After dance today, I went to a cookie exchange. I was an hour late and felt like I only stayed a few minutes. But the cookies were good.
-
I'll take them to work tomorrow to get rid of them.
-
Then I went to another party, which went on despite the rain.
-
The band that was hired couldn't play.
-
But I was able to spend some time with a few friends I don't see often enough, including one or two that I don't see except at this party every year.
-
There was someone from work there.
-
He had had quite a few and was quite loud. At least he was happy.
-
I assume Larry doesn't really care ll that much about such things, but it looks like he could hit 40,000 any hour now!
Absolutely right, DR FJL!. I couldn't care less about the number of posts I've made.
LOL. I am the same way.
-
There was too much food, including some wonderful smoked salmon and several ceviches as well as tamales, really good tamales.
-
Among the desserts was a coconut ice cream cake with nuts. I could have eaten all of that.
-
Now, I'm back to watching A Place to Call Home.
-
I'm almost done with the third disk of the first season.
-
Three and half episodes to go.
-
I will likely wait until after Christmas before getting a start on season two.
-
We are home. It was a very rewarding trip, great to spend time with friends and even better to have the chance to see them perform.
-
How are you, Jane?
-
Can we move this party to page four any time soon?
-
We only need a few more posts.
-
A few more posts are what we need.
-
Posts few we need.
-
And what did that mean?
-
Let's move on!
-
Four!
-
The Outer Critics Circle Awards nominations have been announced.
La La Land is in the lead. Pleasantly surprised to see Hell or High Water in the running with nominations for both Jeff Bridges and Ben Foster, both justly deserved.

Jane, I'm on the third disc of All the Light We Cannot See (out of 13). I'm enjoying it, but it's a little cool, a little emotionally reserved so far. I do care about the two main characters, though.
-
Hello, 0 guests.
-
What is your favorite holiday dessert?
-
Good evening!
-
Hello, 1 Guest!
-
Why are we on page four?
-
Finished with the last performance for the weekend.
-
It was so nice to have Jane and Keith, plus DR George at the show today.
-
A very responsive audience and a really good show.
-
We are half way thru the run.
-
We have two more weekends and one more Thursday night.
-
Thursday night is the Pay-what-you-can performance, which is also the Actor's Benefit performance.
-
That means all the money taken in that day, minus expenses is split between the cast.
-
Which means we will probably each get about $25.00.
-
That is just a guess. I have never worked one of these so I have no idea.
-
Both of the other local theaters pay a stipend to all the actors.
-
Still, anything is nice.
-
Gas money? A Big Mac? It all helps.
-
I can tell it is getting cold outside.
-
I turned the heat back on to low in the living room.
-
I am waiting for the weather forecast to see if we are going to have snow.
-
I don't expect much snow, but it is going to be colder this week.
-
Where is everyone?
-
Where is George?
-
Where is Vixmom?
-
Where is John?
-
Should I keep going through all of the regulars??
-
That would get us well into page five.
-
Page 5
-
That is an improvement.
-
Not by much.
-
Tomorrow is a day to veg-out
-
I have a million things that need doing around the house (i.e. clean house), but not until Tuesday.
-
Our guest has left.
-
How are you, Jane?
Sorry, I had to leave. I was ready for a nap and now that I should be falling asleep I am wide awake
-
DR John has the rain stopped yet
-

I can understand your reaction, especially with Warner (?). I remember being carried along with the beautifully poetic writing.
-
What is your favorite holiday dessert?
What I don't have anymore, my mother's dark English fruitcake with marzipan, her cheesecake, and her fudge.
-
It was so nice to have Jane and Keith, plus DR George at the show today.
Keith and I truly enjoyed being given there, p,us it was nice DR George joined us 😊
-
A very responsive audience and a really good show.
Yes it was. DR George gave you big boos too ;D

More than $25?
-
I can tell it is getting cold outside.
It is 34 degrees and dropping. The high on my birthday is supposed to be 34. The last time I recall such cold Temps on my birthday we lived in Michigan.
-
I remember being snowed in one birthday in Ashland but not the cold.
-
Back from a great show and then a sandwich at Little Toni's.
-
Both of the other local theaters pay a stipend to all the actors.
More than $25?
Oh yes

Oh yes
TAO is totally volunteer run. I can remember only a couple of shows where we had an actor's benefit performance.
-
DR George, I enjoyed all the photos. Thanks for posting them. The keychains close up look even better than I realized just holding them ;D
That's great! They'll be displayed in a place of prominence at my work. :)
-
We left George visiting Tom and are headed home. Tom deserves the fantastic reviews he received.
Definitely! It was a thoroughly enjoyable production and Tom was a wonderfully evil Mr. Potter.
-

I'm really glad that I was able to see it! And seeing it with Jane and Keith made it extra special. :D
-
Where is George?
Well, after the show, I didn't come straight home. I did some shopping up there in Lakewood and in Lacey.
-
I came home, did a load of laundry, and have been watching TV.
-
George, is it snowing at your house yet?
-
George, is it snowing at your house yet?
No. It's foggy, but not snowing...yet.
-
Is it snowing in your area?
-
Well, time to sign off and get ready for bed.
-
Is it snowing in your area?
Nope, not yet.
-
Let's do this.
