Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland at Sterling's 73, and now it is time for you to post until the 73 cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ZIGGURAT!
-
Congrats to BK and the cast of Kritzerland at Sterling's 73!!

Congrats to BK and the cast of Kritzerland at Sterling's 73!!
Ditto!
-
Yes, I got my password back!!
-
I went to a place called "Wikki How to do everything" and followed their directions and my computer showed me my password.
-
Kind of scary really, seeing how easy it is to get someone's WIFI password.
-
But anyway, I now have it and I will add it to my logbook in the morning.
-
Page one? Really?
-
I could stay up all night listening to this stunningly beautiful music but I must to bed and of course I shouldn't devour this all so quickly - spread the wealth, but I've now got Villa-Lobos' complete string quartets on their way and also a newer and complete recording of Forest of the Amazon, played by the orchestra who did the Choros and Bachianas, and the same conductor - that happens to be an SACD disc.
-
Well, I guess it is now time to say " Good night."
-
Congrats to BK on last night's show!!!
-
Good morning to all
-
Good morning, all!
-
I'm ready for physical therapy this morning. I'll leave around 8:30. I need to make a bank stop before i head to 95th Street. I've printed out the results of my knee X-ray for the therapist.
-
I had a long dream about teaching theatre esthetics to a community of Muslims. Then we saw a production of Sweeney Todd.
-
I'm very happy to hear that last night's show was a hit, BK! I never doubted it.
-
DR TCB, good news about your wifi. I hope you logged the password somewhere for future access.
-
Good morning, all.
-
SNOW!
-
Looks like about an inch, but it's a solid covering.
Should be stopping within the hour, and hopefully the rising temperature will take it away.
And thus does winter kick off ... with a CLASSIC Monday morning.
-
Congrats to BK & Co. on a great Kritzerland show!
-
Congrats to MR BK & Co on their successful show!! The pictures were nice. Is that a new sports jacket?
-
Glad to hear that DR JANE & KEITH & DR GEORGE enjoyed seeing DR TCB!!! And I don't think I said how much I liked to photo of you all from yesterday.
-
I have to leave a bit later than usual for my shopping today because I have to go by the bank, and they won't open until DR ELMORE leaves for therapy.....
-
My doctor's analysis of my X-ray: The xray shows that there is arthritis of the knee and also some tendon inflammation.
Time for therapy!
-
Monday morning greetings! I have busy couple of days ahead. Current Events Club holiday luncheon today at the Presbyterian church up the street and AAUW's December meeting this evening at the Methodist church we used to attend. Tomorrow is the Dayton grantwriters' holiday luncheon. 'Tis the season...
-
TOD:
Nothing too different or unique. Got a few little musical gigs to play the week before Christmas and a couple of par-tays to attend. Christmas day will be spent exchanging a few gifts with the housemates, watching holiday stuff, and lazying about the house. We'd enjoy going out to a movie that afternoon if there's one worth seeing, but I haven't checked into that.
-
Temperature's up a few degrees. Come on, baby, you can DO IT. Get up there and melt that damned snow!
-
Come ON!
-
Let's start page two off with some fried chicken, shall we?

This is the place that, several years ago, I asked if anyone could clue me in on just what and where it was. All I'd remembered was Wilshire Blvd., somewhere in or near the Miracle Mile. I knew I wasn't describing it right (and my memory was conflating it with something else, so it remained a mystery for a while.
Well, it's been very hard to find -- and I never would have remembered the name "Flying Saucer"! -- but it was on the northeast corner at Cochran.
-
I don't think I was ever in that bakery.
-
Good morning, all.
-
The rains are taking a short break.
-
I am home from therapy, and today was a painful one. I can hardly walk at the moment.
-
Do you cab home after a tough session, or do you walk anyway?
-
Do you cab home after a tough session, or do you walk anyway?
I bus.
-
Free Parking at the Flying Saucer!
-
I'm up, I'm up - nine hours of sleep, which is unusual after a show night.
-
Yes, I got my password back!!
Congrats, Tom!
-
Just received a (formerly E&T) CD and two lovely Blu-rays from BK. Thank you, sir!
-
Back from a lovely holiday luncheon that included entertainment by Purple Pizazz, the Middletown High School Show Choir. They were in jeans and Middie sweatshirts/T-shirts because, as their director explained, their costumes (ordered in September) had not yet arrived from the rental agency. Their winter concert is Thursday night and she was able to announce at the end of their performance that she'd received a text indicating that the delivery had been made to the school. Whew!
-
My SACD Chorus Line also just showed up, and as soon as I've taken care of some chores that need to be done right away, I'll give it a listen. I threw it on the regular CD player which didn't recognize it, so this one's a "pure" SACD.
-
SNOW!
It was here in Tumwater, too, but not for long. :(
-
Here is where I'm hanging the two keychains that Jane gave me:

Because there's a lot of silver-toned metal, I couldn't get a good angle without a lot of glare, and you couldn't see much without the flash, so hopefully, this is good enough.
-
You can see the other spinners that I have near it: from the one to the left of Santorini and moving down, there's a Washington state quarter, St. Thomas, London, and then Copenhagen.
-
The framed photo at the top is one that I actually took of my niece with the one and only Bernadette Peters! The cat at the bottom is my late cat Ebonie. And notice that I put the Santorini next to Jane's Sherlock? :D
-
Glad to hear that DR JANE & KEITH & DR GEORGE enjoyed seeing DR TCB!!! And I don't think I said how much I liked to photo of you all from yesterday.
Thanks, Jrand! I didn't think to get a picture of us with TCB in his costume. Darn.

From DR TCB:
Oh yes
:)
-
From DR George:
That's great! They'll be displayed in a place of prominence at my work. :)
I feel honored.

Yes, I got my password back!!
Yea!!!

Nice collection DR GEORGE.

The rains are taking a short break.
Same here. I should be rushing out for a walk but I am getting work done. It has warmed up to 36 degrees.

Awww, you have Sherlock up there...sniff, sniff.
-
No snow.
-
Hmmm, did we also get the one from Copenhagen?
-

It is a good photo. Some of the darker ones on the left don't stand out as much.
-

I can't tell where the one to the left of Santorini is from. We will have to remember you like spinners :)

It is a nice photo of your niece, as is the one of your sweet Ebonie.

I know, and we didn't get one with you in your wonderful costume.

Nice collection DR GEORGE.
Thanks, Jrand! It is but a small sampling that I have here at work.
-
Hmmm, did we also get the one from Copenhagen?
I think so!

It says "Washington" above and below an actual Washington state quarter, which is upside down in this picture. It's actually slightly lower and to the left of the Santorini, not directly below.
-
BK, I just received the package of additional CDs and Blu-rays! Thanks! And I also just realized that I already own the Faith Prince CD. Oh, well. It's not the first time I've accidentally rebought something. ::)
;)
-
Hmmm, did we also get the one from Copenhagen?

Maybe I should have kept my own list ;) Fortunately we don't go to the same place twice very often.

Back from an omelet, English muffin, and some fries, picking up some packages, including the new Kritzerland computer, and banking.
-
I napped for about an hour, picked up the mail, and worked on "Go Into Your Dance" this afternoon. There's not much here for dinner tonight, maybe a slice of frozen pizza and tomato-mozzarella salad.
-
I think I et something with which I disagree.....
-
I have some chicken cacciatore takeout leftovers. That, plus whatever else I find in the fridge, will make a fine repast.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Congrats to BK,TCB, and George on their successful shows.
-
Enjoyed the HHW PNW gathering photos.
-
I went online a few hours ago to pay my Discover card bill and discovered that someone had gotten my account number and was going hither and yon on Lyft using it. Ugh! I phoned Discover and canceled the card. They did it very quickly and are Fedexing me a new card. I use my Discover card a LOT, plus it's embedded in quite a few of my online accounts. I've only had a Discover card for 4 or 5 years and this will be my third card. Their customer service is excellent, but it does seem like this card gets hacked more than my others.
-
Tummy-relief vibes for JRand.

Sorry to hear that. Have you been able to try the Arnica yet?

The first work day of my last work week is nearly done.
Four more work days until my annual vaycay.
Will be flying to SC one week from tonight.

I am watching the Vitaphone Shorts on TCM....some of them are most amusing.

DR Jeanne, I am so sorry to hear about this.

Card vibes for Jeanne.
-
Am now on the last episode of A Place to Call Home.
-
I love the fact that this is a series about a number of strong women. I think Olivia is my favorite. She's really surprised me. They have written her character arc probably best of all.
-
Two packages of Christmas DVDs and CDs arrived today.
-
Hello, 2 guests.
-
What's your favorite egg nog recipe?
-
I've started watching Creed. It's not bad. I doubt I'll enjoy it the way I liked the first Rocky back when I was in high school.

Can you make it so they email you after every purchase? It makes it easier to know right away if something is wrong.

We had snow today. We had some 2 weeks ago but it melted right away.

That's a good idea. It'd be a hassle if you use it a lot, but it could help you (and anyone else who sets it up) to keep track of anomalies.
-
And now, I'm off. I want to do a little shopping before I go home, so I shall, especially since I won't have to be back at the theater until Thursday. :)
Be back later.
-
Am now on the last episode of A Place to Call Home.
Season one?

Yuck. Sorry. I don't even like to see snow in Christmas movies.
-

Season one?
Yes. Good cliffhanger. Will start season two in a few weeks.
-
Started an old-time collection of Christmas stories last night. The first was a funny piece called "The Worst Christmas Story" by Christopher Morley. It was written during Prohibition and was a a perfect way to end the day.
-
I may try one by Louisa Mae Alcott later.
-
No, I'm not reading them in order.
-
Got another evening call from the doctor. She got my ultrasound results back. No answers. They're going to go back and compare the results with previous CT scans. Who knows what's next. Maybe a biopsy.
-
Good night, all.

Finished with my viewing - a screener for a film called Lion.

Hello, Jane. Long time no see.

I keep loosing the wifi connection on my tablet. The fix is to restart it.
-
Hello, Jane. Long time no see.
Hi Tom 😊
-
Today was cold, but mostly dry.
-
I took a drive. That was exciting.
-
I did work on the book today.
-
I am off of my stride.
-
I guess it will take a few days to get back into the swing of things.
-
I may have to rewrite what I wrote today. The style seems off.
-
There is certainly good reason to write every day.
-
Did Hemmingway have such problems?
-
Did Hemmingway do community theater?
-
:D
-
Time to switch to my iPad (thankfully).
-
After work, I went to the Tumwater Happy Teriyaki for dinner.
-
I had their Love Salad. That's what it's called, the "Love Salad." It's pretty good.
-
Then, I went to the new Dollar Tree and was planning on just looking around, but I found a few things and spent about $6.50 (including sales tax).

Were the items reasonably priced?

What is in a Love Salad?
It's a salad with lettuce and cabbage, sliced almonds, crispy ramen noodles, and a dressing. I don't know exactly what kind of dressing it is, but it makes me think it's kind of peanut sauce. You can also get it with various kinds of chicken (regular, spicy, teritaki) or tofu. It's very tasty.

This is the website for Tumwater's restaurant:

Here's a picture, but I don't remember mine having that much chicken.

I just noticed that in the description, they describe it like this: Fresh romaine and napa cabbage, topped with crunchy noodles, sliced almonds and our creamy ginger “LOVE” dressing.
-
Well...

...since...
-
...we're so darned close...

SIX!!
