A very Happy Birthday to DR MATTHEW!
Happy birthday, DR Matthew!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday to Our DR Matthew !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MATTHEW!
Today is a shopping day. I decided yesterday that I would buy myself a back brace, since that seems to be the body area that is causing me the most problems. Perhaps that will put me back in better order.
I take Claritin D/24 Hour regularly. I had been paying almost $19 for a box of 15 of the WalGreen's version, since it was not in my list on my insurance. I think I have mentioned this before.....I happened to stop in at a store called LoCost Pharmacy, and for their generic brand....I pay $8.16 for a box of 15.
Hi everyone - thanks for the early morning (for me anyway) birthday wishes.
Up early trying to get on a puppy "med" schedule. I swear these Dr's think we can just sit around and administer drugs all day! Oh, how I'd love to be able to do that. Trying to keep Leo on a schedule He has 3 drugs, 2 every 12 hours, one every 8 - and that one has to be given within 2 hours of the other one. We will do our best!
TMI ALERT!! I'm posting on my tablet whilst sitting on my toilet. :o

Bad taste alert:
Could give a whole new meaning to Tum-water.
Drove out of the neighborhood in daylight this morning. The house at the corner apparently was another storm victim as a huge section of wooden fence had blown across the street.

Last night's portion of the preparation actually was not unpleasant...certainly not actually pleasant mind you, but it wasn't an uncomfortable experience (I had read some real horror stories on-line).

I think that is as good as it gets. I rarely keep all the drink down, and last time I had a reaction and had to stop drinking it.
The extraction was uncomfortable, but not terrible.
I'm up, I'm up - a bit over nine hours of sleep, which I guess I needed. I awoke to news that I've been hired to direct a new musical - it's really kind of a glorified workshop that's not open to the public when it plays its two performances - but it is, in fact, a full production with sets, lighting, costumes, a band, a full Equity paid cast. Kay is choreographing (although there's not much to choreograph at this point) and she recommended me because she knew the other directors they'd talked to and didn't relish working with any of them. It's a really difficult piece because it's VERY dark - not the kind of thing I do, really, but that was what got me the job - because I told them I could only approach the material positively because I think the audience has to feel not relentlessly bombarded with dark. They liked that. They're first time authors, so I can probably be of help in terms of smoothing out the obvious problems. It all happens pretty quickly - casting end of March, rehearsing mid-April opening end of May and, in fact, when it opens I'll already be rehearsing Dial M for Murder - but the schedule works because these rehearsals are days and end at five and the Dial M rehearsals don't start till seven.
Mickey Rooney speaking in my play, AVA & HER GUYS:
"Everybody’s taller than me. 'Bigger' is another question altogether."

The recommended ENT isn't available till next week, but they have several ENTs in that office so I'm seeing one of them tomorrow, unless this clears up completely by then.

Everyone is sick here in LA.

Jack, please let me know which sort of brace you purchased and how well you like it. My doctor submitted a referral for me for a brace last SEPTEMBER and I'm still waiting. He's submitted it three times now. It hasn't been denied, just caught up in a very dysfunctional bureaucracy. Aren't HMOs wonderful?
Incrediwear makes a back brace I'd like to try, but it's $75 and not returnable. UCLA has trained staff for fitting braces, but think how much money they save by their ineptitude!
Second best way is to pan fry in a little butter
Jane, I'm also having a side of bourbon Brussels sprouts because that just sounded too good to pass up.
Jane, if you liked those hot dogs, then that's all that matters.

I wasn't the only one that liked them. I had to guard them at BBQ parties because people couldn't tell, looking or tasting, that they were not meat.
Or did you mean the chili vs the fake hot dogs :)
Jane, I just texted you a photo
Thanks. I will show Keith since they are his favorite veggie. I just like the bourbon part ;)

That is a LONG time to wait for your brace. Vibes you get something soon, and that it helps!

Bourbon is also used on the double-cut pork chop.
Clearly I should be eating dinner with John
I leave in about a half hour for my procedure. :-\
So, it's time for me to take a shower and get dressed. Pray for Rosemary's baby!
Be back later.

I can tell you one thing about the show - one of the writers is the son of Sherman Edwards, the composer/lyricist of 1776, so that's fun.

Well, that was easy. :) I got to the medical office, got checked in, and it all happened fairly quickly. I fell asleep pretty quickly after they sedated me. Fortunately, they didn't find any polyps. There were a couple of other minor issues, but nothing serious. Margo and I went to Shari's afterward and even after eating right after the procedure, I'm feeling completely fine. WHEW!
You bounce back like Keith does. I tend to need a nap. That is great news that you didn't have any polyps. I hope the minor issues stay minor.

Glad you're doing OK.
Hope the procedure went well vibes for george

Me, too. The treatment is essentially just more fiber in my diet. ::)
;)
Someone of Facebook posted a photo of canned Vegan Toona. It's as nasty as vegan haggis.
I wonder if I have any hotdogs in the freezer

Yay!
I want a Leanie. I will settle for pop corn if Keith makes any. I am hungry.
Just saw on Facebook that a former co-worker from the newspaper, lost her house to one of the tornadoes.

I've eaten various brands and have basically stopped buying them.
I will eat them but I don't think they taste great.
Fred, I was sorry to hear about the loss of your cousin. My condolences.
Fred, I enjoyed the lyrics you posted the other day. I'm not familiar with the tune, but I still liked the lyrics.
Great to hear George's test results!
Glad to hear it's all behind you, DR George. :D
