Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of the brother, and now it is time for you to post until the brotherly cows come home.
-
RUNNEL!

First post after BK!

RUNNEL. Wasn't he the Desert Fox?
-
First post after TCB!

Tom, when I'm acting in a show, we usually do have more socializing opportunities, but with a small cast like this (only five), they may be all socialized out. ::)

True.

I still think we need a game for the Oscar Party.
-
Good night, George.

I still think we need a game for the Oscar Party.
Take a drink (of your choice) everytime someone makes a political speech.

We would all have to pee through the second half of the awards. And some people would be very drunk.

True...very true.

Good morning to all
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning, everyone!
-
Nice notes. Continued get well vibes for MR BK.
Another cold day for us today, but no snow or rain is predicted.....
-
I haven't decided if I will watch the Oscars yet - I am leaning toward the NO side right now....we shall see how I feel as it gets closer.
Everyone is trying to backtrack on the Meryl Streep Oscar dress kerfuffle - but the denials and backtracking sound even weaker than than the original story.....
-
Good morning, all!
-
I remember that I saw HARD CANDY when it first came out, but I really have no memory of the picture itself.
That seems to happen a lot these days, particularly with movies I don't like.
-
I have to be up early tomorrow for my meeting with my accountant, so I doubt I will watch any of the Oscars. The only nominated film I've seen is Florence Foster Jenkins, and I'm having my own problems here with my new neighbor. If she is going to continue to come in between 11:30 and 1:30am, creating an hour's worth of noise, then I may need to go back to Alleve PM, if only to sleep through her whatever. I hate to do it because I feel drugged once I've finally begun my morning activities.
-
Last night she went out around 9:00 and came back at 12:30. I am not stalking her. She's that noisy.
-
Today I have very few plans beyond my date with DR vixmom around 6:00. I've been thinking about watching the BBC version of Balzac's Cousin Bette again.
-
Good morning, all.
-
And a late one it is. I was up earlier but went back to bed and tried to get some extra dozing in. It kind of worked. Well enough, anyway.
-

Have a great time this evening, you two crazy kids!

Is that the one with Margaret Tyzeck or however you spell the name? She's great.
I haven't read that novel yet.

It is. I love Margaret Tyzack, and she's quite wonderful in this. The novel's ending is different than the BBC's, which is smarter than Balzac's conclusion, but perhaps much harder to convey on paper. I read the novel in the 1980s, and I really dislike the Jessica Lange film, which steals a great deal of Zola's wonderful novel Nana.
-
I may have read it on jury duty. I always took a book I'd never read with me since so much of the day is waiting around. One year I took the unabridged Les Miserables, another it was the then-new biography of Oscar Wilde by Richard Ellman. I believe I was reading that when we were sequestered.

What in the HELL?
RIP - Bill Paxton, 61
This is sad news. I always liked his work, and I especially loved his horror film Frailty. I should watch that again.
-
What in the HELL?
RIP - Bill Paxton, 61
Oh, no! :( He was recently on The Late Late Show with James Corden and talked about being married to his wife for 32 years. It was very sweet.
-
It's a gray day, and I don't fell like do anything at all. Unfortunately there are some things that must be done. We'll see which one wins.
-
I'm up, I'm up - a bit over ten hours of sleep, which I really needed.
-
Good afternoon.
-
It is indeed quite gray here today. Hopefully a nice bit of rain is in our near future.
-
The sun came out. Crud.
-
Page two? Really? On Oscar Bash day?
-
I just watched nearly four hours of Cousin Bette. It was quite wonderful.
I had forgotten some of the plot details, like the ancient, sinister poisoner Madame Nourrisson, and Victorin's hiring her to stop his father-in-law's marriage to Mme. Marneffe, the conniving whore with a heart of ice played by Helen Mirren. It's such a fantastic soap opera of revenge Not as good as The Count of Monte Cristo, but close.
-
I decided to be VERY adventurous today and am currently making Margaret's Chicken - the Ritz cracker thing. It's in the oven, baking away - made three chicken breasts but not sure I'll eat all three because that would be piggish. Then again... The calorie count for the breasts is very low - six hundred for all three - the Ritz crackers add another 200, then there's melted butter and about two ounces of shredded cheddar cheese - so even if I ate all three, which I doubt I will, it's still well within what I can eat and lose weight with.
-
Hi everyone -
-
I'm sitting here in a Panera killing some time between my Spelling Bee rehearsals. We have 2 runs today, and it's a little far for me to go home and check on the DD's - which are doing fine - so I decided to chill and maybe catch up on some things.
-
bk - I'm glad you got to see your brother and family. For some reason, I thought you were not on speaking terms, but I'm glad nonetheless. Family is important.
-
Chicken is still cooking - should have been ready twenty minutes ago - my oven is so wonky it never heated itself to 350 despite saying it had so I bumped it up to 375 - Margaret said I also should have pounded the breasts to make them thinner - this I didn't know - I assume at some point it will be cooked.
-
Okay, no posts since my last post? Seriously? I can just end this apparently very uninteresting Oscar Bash right now.
-
Chicken not as good as Margaret's due to faulty oven - impossible to tell when it was cooked so it was a bit dry - still good, though and I did eat all three breasts, since they weren't all that big.
-
Once upon a time, Oscar day was so much fun. Now everyone would rather make with the snappy remarks on Facebook. Well, so be it.
-
Today's matinee if Playhouse Creatures is going well, as usual.
-
;D
-
The audience is enjoying it all and responding appropriately.
-
That's VERY good!
-
There was one person who had preordered tickets online, but never showed up.
-
Hello!
-
:-\
-
I took a very quick trip to Las Vegas.
-
I called, but could only leave a message. Oh, well. We got her money.
-
I met friends from California. We saw Cher Friday night. I enjoyed the show very much. My first time.
-
;)
-
PAGE THREE DANCE!!
-
I took a very quick trip to Las Vegas.
Cool!
-
We also saw "La La Land," which means I've seen TWO Oscar-nominated movies---the other being "Florence Foster Jenkins."
-
Weirdly, two times today the door of the theater opened and then closed. That rarely happenes at all, but twice during one show is practically unheard of.

Anything's possible. ::)

-
We usually have had four pages of posts about the pre-show by this point.
-
I just read that Judge Joseph Wapner of 'The People's Court' dead at 97 (http://www.cnn.com/2017/02/26/us/judge-joseph-wapner-dead/index.html).
-
And I didn't watch it, but Game of Thrones Star Neil Fingleton Dead at 36 (http://www.eonline.com/news/832025/game-of-thrones-star-neil-fingleton-dead-at-36).
That' three...at least that I've heard of.
-
Many amusing dresses.

I'm glad to see this is on youtube. I'll have to watch it. I loved Margaret Tyzack in her (brief) performance with Maggie Smith from Lettice and Lovage on the Tony Awards many years ago,
-
I'm gonna say for the last time - this is really irritating to me.
-
I think I should see "Lion."
-
I really liked the first two-thirds of Lion.
-
Realizing I may have to make an emergency cast change for the Kritzerland show - not happy and less happy with this discussion board right now.
-
Don't care for Dwayne Johnson's blue velvet tuxedo.
-
Show's starting.
-
And it's just Kevin and li'l ol' me at the partay. I become more irritated with each passing minute.
-
No, it's me too for the moment, anyway.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
I won't be watching, but I wanted to drop in here for a bit.
-
I looked at the red carpet on the NYT and didn't see a single gown I liked. That's not surprise. I don't think anyone is designing the sort of things I like these days.
-
Not a fan of Justin's.
-
Ditto on hair styles.
-
I only saw one of the nominated films. I didn't care for it.
I would like to see MOONLIGHT and LA LA LAND. Probably some others that I don't know much about.
-
Everyone is trying to backtrack on the Meryl Streep Oscar dress kerfuffle - but the denials and backtracking sound even weaker than than the original story.....
?? Will someone fill me in, please?
-
Good luck, Larry, on getting excused from jury duty. That shouldn't be too difficult.
-
I loved COUSIN BETTE. I should watch it again soon.

I'm curious too.

One more.

The MS Dress ferfuffle:

And Jimmy Kimmel mentioned her dress too (Is is an Ivanka?)
-
I have to admit I have no idea who the presenter is.
-
Personally, I considered wearing a pair of Levi Strauss jeans today, but reconsidered and wore my usual LLBean jeans (they're a good fit!). The Levi Strauss company was miffed, however, and posted something uncomplimentary on FB. We're now at war.
-
Mahershala Ali for Best Supporting Actor.

Ha!
-
And it's just the two of us!! Even BK has deserted the place!

No, nothing to do with the White House. (WHAT?! That's news in itself!)
-
I thought Jimmy Kimmel did a good job in his opening monologue.
-
Maybe BK went out for reinforcements.
-
It looks like BK's back!
-
BK never deserts but has taken note of those who have. I hated the opening number - just pandering and an embarrassment and I was prepared to hate Jimmy Kimmel, who I'm not a fan of, but he delivered the best opening monologue in the past decade, I think - where every single joke landed.
-
rounding up neighborhood teens to join the partay.
(spell check doesn't like "partay")
-
I thought Hugh Grant should have been nominated for Florence Foster Jenkins.
-
And I'm fine with the winner of supporting actor.
-
The Meryl Streep thing during his monologue was great.
-
Back to the show.
-
It's unusual to see a winner in the audience holding his Oscar!
-
Kudos to you, Bruce, for trying a new recipe today.
-
And I'm having some trouble posting.
-
Award for Makeup coming up.
-
My Oscar is at the cleaners. Otherwise, I'd have it with me too.
-
Suicide Squad for Best Makeup. I haven't heard of that movie, but what do I know?
-
Kate McKinnon needs better comedy writers.
-
Costume Design: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
-
Costume Design: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Now that's a movie I'd like to see.
-
Interesting Cadillac commercial.
-
Spreading the Oscars around.
-
I hadn't heard of the blue ACLU ribbons before. Maybe it just started tonight?
-
Page five and with no help whatsoever. I have taken note.
-
Oh, yes, I have taken note.
-
Yes, the ACLU were created for tonight.
-
Bruce, Kevin and I are here.
-
And while I know one dear reader who has stated he's not watching for political reasons, which I find incredibly dopey, I don't believe he's not the only one staying away for those reasons.
-
And at this point, I don't care if anyone shows up now or later.
-
I really have to see Hidden Figures.
-
Yes, I want to see it, too.
-
Sunday evening greetings! Richard and I had a full day, starting with church. We then went to lunch and for a little drive around downtown Cincinnati. We went to Isaac Wise Temple for a "tour," which really was a very interesting lecture by one of the rabbis. That was followed by a recital on the newly-restored pipe organ.
-
How great that the surviving "Hidden Figure" is there on stage.
-
I'm now watching the Oscars...
-
Best Documentary Feature: OJ: Made in America.
-
I'm now watching the Oscars...
Welcome to our exclusive group, DR Ginny!
-
Hi, DR Ginny.
-
I'm going to get something to eat. WBBL.
-
The ubiquitous Lin Manuel-Miranda.
-
Happy Ginny could make it.
-
Talented sixteen-year-old girl - middling song but certainly as good or better than anything in La La Land.
-
I don't know about the giant sails or whatever they were - very Debbie Allen-esque.
-
I'm now watching the Oscars...
Welcome to our exclusive group, DR Ginny!
Thanks, DR KevinH!
-
THis is more interesting that the coverage of the Oscars.
-
Hi, DR Ginny.
Hi, DR Jeanne!
-
But i have to take the recyclables and the yard waste out first.
-
Happy Ginny could make it.
Wouldn't miss it, BK!
-
I took a very quick trip to Las Vegas.
Nice.
-
Sound Editing: Arrival
-
Since I am not following the show I don't really know what anyone is talking about. I shall return tomorrow.
-
Sound Mixing: Hacksaw Ridge
-
Good evening. I don't watch movies or tv, so I have nothing to add to tonight's party.
-
Nice speech!
-
I did some work outside, since it cleared up this afternoon.
-
Gee, Jane, why aren't you following the show?
-
I'm kind of happy with them spreading the Oscars around. I hope that continues and that there are surprises in store.
-
You don't have to have seen movies to enjoy our partay. Our partay has always been about US, our camaraderie, which is why I find the lack of understanding about that so odd - and so irritating.
-
Came so close to replacing one of our cast, but everything finally worked out.
-
I like spreading out the awards, like spreading ideals on a cracker (a "Band Wagon" quote).
-
Don't ask me what that meant.
-
Supporting Actress: Viola Davis
-
Supporting Actress: Viola Davis
Yay!
-
Wonderful actress - I could have lived without the endless speech - everyone else has been short, sweet, and to the point.
-
If I'm not mistaken, no one film has taken more than a single award.
-
Home safe and sound. Pictures and more to follow
-
Best Foreign Film: The Salesman
-
I'm back.
-
I'd be interested in DR favorites--not which films you think will win, but which you thought were best.
-
Hidden Figures was my best film of last year.
-
I sometimes wonder how certain songs get up for Oscars - case in point, that rather simplistic and fairly uninteresting song Sting just sang.
-
And, actors?
-
Gee, guess we won't be getting to page forty tonight, huh?
-
Home safe and sound. Pictures and more to follow
Looking forward to hearing about your day in the City, DR vixmom!
-
The Salesman sounds fascinating to me. I'm surprised it beat out Toni Erdmann, which had a ton of positive press surrounding it.
-
John G, your favorites?
-
Animated Short Film: Piper
-
Just finished listening to my book. Time to return to "A Stolen Life" with Bette Davis in a double role.
-
Best Animated Feature Film: Zootopia
-
I though Moana would win (not that I've seen it).
-
I though Moana would win (not that I've seen it).
I did, too. And I haven't seen it either.
-
Production Design, Set Decoration: LaLa Land
-
First win for La La Land, right?
-
Page 7!
-
I didn't see any of the animated films. I'm not sure I would have given La La Land production design, but it was probably inevitable. Their first win.
-
Can someone please pm me the signing info for our photo bucket account? I lost it. Thanks
-
Wouldn't it be amusing if those who decided not to be sociable and have fun here at our partay logged in tomorrow to find no discussion board?
-
Bruce, did your old friend Vinnie work on DOCTOR STRANGE?
-
Visual Effects: The Jungle Book
-
Film Editing: Hacksaw Ridge
-
Last night she went out around 9:00 and came back at 12:30. I am not stalking her. She's that noisy.
I would totally say something to her or the super or anyone who might be able to help you.
-
Vinnie Cirilli? Have no idea.
-
I think Hacksaw Ridge is the first to win two awards.
-
I really like Jimmy Kimmel and have been enjoying him so far.
-
I'm now home after the show and helping my sister and niece move bed parts ftom the upstairs down to the garage. There wasn't a lot, so it wasn't as difficult as it could've been. My sister also made some pizza, which was pretty good, and then I came home and am now watching The Oscars.
-
Yes, the ACLU were created for tonight.
I don't understand why they are not explaining the ribbons. I have not seen one explanation and I watched a bunch of pre-Oscar stuff.
-
Now to ketchup on all the posts!
-
I tuned in for a few minutes and realized I didn't know who the people were or even recognized most of the names. So I went and put on Jeanne's Levi Strauss jeans.
-
Best Documentary Short Subject: The White Helmets
-
Wonderful actress - I could have lived without the endless speech - everyone else has been short, sweet, and to the point.
I actually love listening to Viola Davis speak. I find that she is eloquent and what she says is meaningful. I like it so much more than someone just reading names off of a paper.
-
Live Action Short Film: Sing
-
Spring has hit hard today. Think it might be a Benedryl night.
-
Gratuitous Post #200!
-
I think I should see "Lion."
YES, YOU SHOULD!!
-
BK never deserts but has taken note of those who have. I hated the opening number - just pandering and an embarrassment and I was prepared to hate Jimmy Kimmel, who I'm not a fan of, but he delivered the best opening monologue in the past decade, I think - where every single joke landed.
That's cool. I can't wait to watch it later. :)
-
At this rate the show won't be over till midnight EST.
-
Wouldn't it be amusing if those who decided not to be sociable and have fun here at our partay logged in tomorrow to find no discussion board?
Let's see - I was out at a show and dinner
Elmire was with me
George and Chas had shows
So sorry our lives interfered with your board. Maybe we can get notes signed by our mothers
-
I really have to see Hidden Figures.
I really want to see that, too. I just got the Kindle book from my library, but I'm reading something else right now. As soon as I'm done with that, I'll start on "Hidden Figures."
-
Yes, very long show..
-
So, I had to empty the dishwasher - what did I miss?
-
Supporting Actress: Viola Davis
Nice!
-
Bette Davis and Bette Davis are lost in a storm at sea. Can Walter Brennan save one of them?
-
Cinematography: La La Land
-
Page 8!

Eight?
-
Page eight? Really?
-
Brie Larson, Taraji P. Henson and Viola Davis looked the best to me tonight.

Classy Viola.
-
Wow...those are some great dresses, John.
-
Good evening!
-
Returned from a great show today.
-
I just don't like the La La Land songs, but I suppose it will win that and score. Probably no stopping it.
-
I enjoyed John Legend's performance of the songs from La La Land.
-
Don't know Blanca Blanco, but this woman is in need of fashion help.

Glad to hear, TCB!

Returned from a great show today.
Congrats, Tom!

I enjoyed John Legend's performance of the songs from La La Land.
He's from nearby Springfield, Ohio.

It is the boy's club here right now.

Original score is next!

Original Score: La La Land

And the Oscar goes to "La La Land."

The In Memoriam section.
-
Last week, it was Dead Ringer with Bette Davis as twins, one of whom kills the other and takes her place. This week, A Stolen Life has Bette Davis as twins, one of whom dies and the other takes her place. Both involved one sister being bitchy and the other being nice. And both involved dogs knowing the difference.
-
Page nine? Really?
-
Very nice In Memoriam.
-
I'm wondering how they decided which actors to show in scenes from their movies. I would think Patty Duke and Debbie Reynolds should have been featured.
-
So, Viola Davis has a Tony, an Oscar and an Emmy.
Does that mean she has a TOE?

Who knows? Maybe she can sing.

Thank you, George

I thought I saw his name under visual effects for DOCTOR STRANGE. That was on the BBC and it doesn't seem to be up any longer.

Nice shots, Vixmom.
-
I tuned in for a few minutes and realized I didn't know who the people were or even recognized most of the names. So I went and put on Jeanne's Levi Strauss jeans.
Did Levi Strauss pay you to do so?

Starting Denial with Rachel Weisz and Timothy Spall. Have really wanted to see this.

Thanks to all who are here - and to those who aren't, and I mean this in the nicest way - phut.

Will there be a surprise in the Lead Acting categories?
-
Was there alcohol in that there glass, Vixmom?
Yes that was my complimentary mimosa
-
Nice photos, DR vixmom!
-
Will there be a surprise in the Lead Acting categories?
I hope so, but I doubt it.
-
I'm pleased that DRs Vixmom and Elmore had a nice time.
-
How many does that make for LA LA LAND?
-
Director: Damien Chazelle
They said that at 32 years old, he's the youngest to ever win best director.
-
Not a sweep.
-
Well, that takes care of best picture. I find it astonishing that everyone outside of song who has won for La La Land has thanked EVERYONE save for Pasek and Paul, who wrote the lyrics, which are a lot better than the music. I find that absolutely disgusting. The fact that the composer did not thank them is equally astonishing.
-
Where is Lillie's, DR Vixmom?
W 49th near 8th ave. absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing... The eggs were perfect and the flank steak was tender and perfectly seasoned
-
How many does that make for LA LA LAND?
More than enough.
-
I highly recommend it. Apparently they do brunch both Saturday and Sunday from 10 am and $18 included choice of entree, and mimosa, Bloody Mary or wine. The coffee was extra
-
I haven't seen LA LA LAND, but I'm wondering if its success will mean more lighter, more optimistic movies.
I watch my share of crime stories, but would like to see some lighter films.

Since I was eating alone and for some reason I couldn't get on HHW I took a look at my FB feed and saw she was in town as well ,fortunately everyones schedules allowed us to meet me. She says hi .

Actress in a Leading Role: Emma Stone
-
Emma.
-
No surprise.

I remember when The Book of Morman was on Broadway and it was all about Trey Parker and Matt Stone...and barely a mention of Robert Lopez who co-wrote the whole show with them. :-\
-
Well, I was wrong. The show will be over AFTER midnight!
-
I highly recommend it. Apparently they do brunch both Saturday and Sunday from 10 am and $18 included choice of entree, and mimosa, Bloody Mary or wine. The coffee was extra
Maybe a HHW brunch before the NewYorkers? We would need a reservation though. I was able to get a place at the bar at noon but within minutes the place was packed

Entertainment Weekly referred to something Casey Affleck said or did that had cost him the front runner status. Anyone know what that might have been?

Eleven!

He was accused of sexual harassment.

Yawn.
-
I shall be taking my drugs and saying good night.
-
It's way past my bedtime. Fortunately, I'm off tomorrow.
-
WHat? A mistake!
-
Good night from me, too.
-
Wait... Did that really just happen?
-
Unbelievable!
-
WHat? A mistake!
Oh, my goodness! They read the wrong card!
-
Holy cow
-
Um...
-
Guess the jokes on Kevin...and all the LaLa people
-
How could that happen? They gave Warren the wrong envelope?
-
Guess the jokes on Kevin...and all the LaLa people
]
Yes!
-
How could that happen? They gave Warren the wrong envelope?
Someone's getting fired!!
-
Guess we know what the lead story about the Ozcars will be to orrow
-
How could that happen? They gave Warren the wrong envelope?
Apparently they handed hm thei best actress envelope
-
Who said they were looking for surprises?
-
Well, well, well - some very cocky people were just about to post all over the Internet - I believe this may be a first in Oscar history, this kind of screw-up - I knew something was wrong when I saw all those people scurrying behind the La La Land people. They won enough, but I am glad Moonlight, which was an excellent film, won.
-
Who said they were looking for surprises?
I think that was me!
-
Poor Warren - he really should have just stopped and made someone come out to tell him what to do.
-
Well, it's time for me to say goodnight.
-
Goodnight!
-
And one of the few times in recent history where best director didn't mesh with best picture.
-
I wonder if John turned off the TV before they caught the error?
-
I have never seen a bigger F**k-up on the Oscars. Not Warren Beatty's fault.
Somebody handed him the wrong envelope.
-
I think it happened once before when they gave the wrong envelope to Sammy Davis Jr. He realized it and adlibbed about calling NAACP
-
Ok I have to up in 6 hours so good night
-
I think it happened once before when they gave the wrong envelope to Sammy Davis Jr. He realized it and adlibbed about calling NAACP
Yes, but Sammy just announced the winner before reading the nominations. Then, after he read the nominations, he said "Guess who won".
-
I'm now watching The Oscars from the beginning and recording it onto my DVD burner to make DVDs for a couple of friends.
-
Oh, really Druxy - you, who couldn't be bothered to attend our partay because they weren't going to watch the Oscars, watched the Oscars. I don't forget anything, ever.
-
Everyone on everyone's favorite site, Facebook, was so very quick to blame Warren, when a) he clearly was befuddled at the card, which is why he said NOTHING - it was Ms. Dunaway who finally announced the wrong winner. But that's Facebook for you.
-
At least we got to twelve pages, and thanks to those who attended our Bash. I don't forget anything, ever. :)
-
I think a hot shower is in order. My voice has been funky today, but I feel okay so hopefully I'm still winning the damn fight.
-
I'm watching the 16 year old girl sing the nominated song from Moana and noticed that she got bonked on the head by one of the dancer's flag/wing/things! She kept singing without (literally) missing a beat!
-
The fun part of these last two performances was that we followed the competition rules.
-
At the start of the performance, all of the set and props and anything else we need for the performance must be contained in a 10' X 10' square on the stage.
-
When the judges say go, we have ten minutes to assemble the entire set and place all the props for the show. If you exceed the ten minutes you will be allowed to continue but will be disqualified at the end of the performance.
-
The timers are then reset and we have exactly sixty minutes to present the play.
-
When we finish the play, the clocks are reset again and we have exactly ten minutes to strike everything and return it to the 10X10 square.
-
All three sections are carefully timed and exceeding the time on any of the segments disqualifies the entire production.
-
It was fun.
-
Our set up today took just over five minutes, the play ran just over 55 minutes and the strike took a little less than four minutes.
-
The audiences really seemed to enjoy watching all three sections.
-
Still no official explanation about the mixup, which seems odd.
-
I need to switch computers.
-
I have returned to find an empty room.
-
Now I have to wait until Friday for our competition.
-
Then Sunday morning we have our awards' brunch.
-
And we also find out which theaters are going to the Regionals at the end of March.
-

That's great, Tom! I like to usher for the annual a cappella competition and each singing group only has 10 minutes to sing their set, including any applause (except at the end). I think I've seen one act go over the 10 minutes. They don't get disqualified, but they do get points deducted, so that could knock them out of first place.

Yes, the disqualification seems a bit severe, but rules are rules.

Thanks, George. I just hope we can get some supporters to show up on Friday.
-
I'm up, I'm up - oh, wait, I haven't gone to sleep yet.

I was wondering, but sometimes I don't pick up on that. ::)

Emma Stone isn't helping that whole situation.
