These days, I'm fortunate that Benadryl and Flonase control my allergy needs well enough to keep me in business, but I still have to stay on top of it on bad days.

Left home at 5am, flew to NYC, settled into hotel, went to TKTS, had lunch at Pret, saw MISS SAIGON, went back to TKTS, had dinner at Junior's, saw C. S. LEWIS, taxied back to hotel. I crashed shortly after 10. Richard is still sleeping.

We did, DR Vixmom, and it is! The wind was awful yesterday, especially in Shubert Alley and on 42nd St, right in front of Theatre Row.

I have Alexa (dot version) play some rain sounds. I start lucid dreaming, but still don't feel I'm getting rest.

I force myself out of bed by 5:45 a.m. and start my day.

Because of scheduling this recording and replacing some cast for the recording, we need to see boy sopranos for the role of Duncan tomorrow. He's hired six ringers to help in the ensemble numbers. One of them is in the girls' trio in The New Yorkers. Our soprano was our leading lady in Oh, Boy! when we dide those 2014 concerts of early musicals at Trinity Church.

Post by: Ginny on March 23, 2017, 01:27:55 PM: We had a fruitful stroll around Times Square. We're seeing SUNSET BOULEVARD tonight with our friends Doug and Jon and COME FROM AWAY Tuesday evening. We attended noon mass at St. Mary's and found out they're celebrating The Annunciation on Friday with an organ recital and choral mass, so that will be our "theatre" for the evening. We then shopped a bit and had lunch before heading back to the hotel for some afternoon relaxation before we he'd out for the evening.

Post by: bk on March 23, 2017, 03:27:04 PM: The traffic was horrendous going there - unbelievable that that many people are either certifiably insane, out of work, or just can't stay out of their cars - this was at ten-thirty. A twenty minute drive took and hour and ten minutes. Twenty of those minutes were spent transitioning from the 101 to the 405, which should take all of fifteen seconds.

I checked a book out from the Oregon library and the book was highlighted there. I am guessing it is on all the Overdrive library sites.
