Is that Stephen Sondheim's COMPATHY?
How was the show?
The audience loved it. You could tell that they were there to see this show, not just have a night at the theater. I was in the middle row on one side and could see people throughout the show lean forward and really pay attention to certain moments.

Is Dana Messina Galagan in 1984?

Yep
Then there's a prayer, a hymn and then 2 readings..old and new and then a candle is extinguished and the lights dimmed, a prayer, a hymn, 2 readings, etc until we are left in the dark with only the lit Christ candle...
I hope you didn't watch the end of the play, because then you will know how the book ends.
It was so slow yesterday that before three I had actually completed all my work and had , for possibly the first time in years, a completely clear desk

We usually have about 200 people for this service. I think that everyone of them came up to me before the service to ask after the Vixter

A good time to retire.

How many members do you have in your congregation?
I need to go to sleep.
Good night, Vixmom. Good night, George.

I don't really know Ms. Weld's work.
And Jane, the keychain that you sent arrived yesterday! Thank you so much for it! :-*
The reason that it took so long was that you had the wrong unit number (I PM'd you the correct number), but it was forwarded to me, so it's all good! ;D

I just cancelled my Ohio trip for May. Maybe september, if the dammed property races don't eat up my travel money.

Rats!
Congrats on the check.

I will have to correct that. I am guessing mail has been delivered before by the carrier who saw your name vs the incorrect number.
Congrats on the check.
Ditto!
Another congrats! Because every surprise check is a good thing.
DR Vixmom did you see the baby giraffe?

Back from callbacks and we're cast IF everyone accepts their roles, which I can only assume and hope they will. There was some contention on a couple of roles, but we're all in this together and while I could have hung tough and insisted, that isn't what I do. I did win on everything that was truly important to me. Yes, I perhaps would have gone a slightly different way on a couple of roles, and interestingly Kay and I were always completely in agreement on those roles and performers. But I'm happy with our choices - I will probably have to work with a couple of people to get them to the right place, but it's a really good company and the one thing I insisted on from the beginning is there - every person in this cast is a distinct look and type. In fact, a couple of people wanted to use a certain actor for a smaller role and I put the kibosh on it because that actor looked too much like Robert Yacko.

I went out shopping -- and all I came back with was cat food and litter.

Or, everysurprisecheck is a good thing.
Except that one I received for $1.18. :(
Vibes to Larry for plenty of income to do all that he wants.
Did Kevin H finish Thrill Ride and, if so, did I miss his Amazon review? Did I miss Vixmom's Amazon review, which I'm supposing will never come the further away we get?
John G, I watched the first few episodes of 800 WORDS (I like stories about writers), but grew tired of it soon thereafter when the plots were heavily based on the two teenagers. I've developed a low tolerance for typical teen behavior.
Have you been watching it?
Vibes for Sandy
Two characters are sisters and we cast those accordingly, but everyone else could not be more unalike :)
For your enjoyment - the wildly talented and hilarious Christine Pedi - I love her, loved working with her, and she's quite brilliant. Enjoy.
