I lost my damn post.
I was curious and so searched on this here site "It's Ask BK Day" - the earliest use of that topic was way back in 2002.
George, what is the next show you are working on?
George, what is the next show you are working on?
I auditioned for Hairspray, and was told at the audition, "of course, you're cast," but I don't know if they'll decide which role I'll get just from the song and dance audition, or if there will be callbacks to figure that out. Hopefully, I'll hear something soon.
Freedom from fresh hell vibes for Elmore.
I can finally connect to my tablet DR Jennifer I just saw your latest review and added the book to my "to read" list.
I'm not sure if you saw my other post. But the book I read recently was actually I See You by Clare Mackintosh. I read I Let You Go last year.
I missed your post. Should I also read "I See You"? I don't have wifi right now to look it up easily.
No-more-hell vibes for Larry!
I had a nice talk with Joshie, who was my voice of reason today. All appears good at the moment and I'm waiting on a phone call about today;s brouhaha.

I hope you do, and you are pleased with the news.

While walking around I saw people with cones or cups of gelato with an additional little cone for scooping the gelato. Lucky us I spotted the shop they came from.. The stracciatella (chocolate chip) was your far the best ever. The flavorful gelato not only had a wonderful texture it had a superb chocolate poured over it that hardened into eXtra chunks of chocolate. This might have been the best ever.
I was having some trouble walking and standing for long periods of time.....so I passed the director ship of The Show Whose Name I Shall Not Mention on to someone else.
I hated to do that, but I think it was for the best. More tests at the hospital on Friday.
I am not sure if I am leaving the Board of Directors or not, they have asked me stay.....we shall see. I might LIKE not having to drive 70 miles a day during the summer and just enjoying myself.
Casting vibes for DR GEORGE.
Lot of strange news today. Aaron Hernandez committed suicide. Bill O'Reilly committed career suicide, well, one level of it.
Well this is pretty cool! I don't know if it had been posted here, but it was posted on the Cast Recordings group on FB that two movies, "Tom Sawyer" and "Huckleberry Finn," both with song scores by the Sherman Brothers, are going to be released on Blu-ray in July!

I am home from City Center. Joshie was most helpful with today's issues, and I think we've solved the problem.

Those are the ones with your narration, right, BK?

Indeed.
My question for ASK BK DAY:
Is there a specific film that you would like to do a DVD/BluRay commentary for?
Well, I must be off! I'm going to see The Secret Garden (https://www.5thavenue.org/show/The-Secret-Garden) at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre with my sister and her boyfriend! Daisy Egan (who won the Tony Award for playing Mary Lennox) is playing Martha in this production! AND it also stars Larry's new friend, Tam Mutu!
Be back later!
Tonight I had another crown installed
Someone gave us the last beets from their garden. They are sick of beets. We are loving them -- so delicious.
Dinner last night was incredible. The view, service, and food terrific. We sat by the window over looking the ocean and listened to the waves crashing against the rocks. Best view in Sorrento at one of the top rated restauurants.
As you know, I've gone through most of the Sibelius symphony cycles on CD - have my favorites and have my non-starters that I never need to hear again. I've heard the historic mono cycles, too. But what I'd never heard was the first stereo complete cycle - why? Because it's never been issued on CD. I decided I needed to hear it as everyone raved about it - so I went to eBay and found the boxed LP set, but also found a reel-to-reel tape. The speed, sadly, was 3 3/4 rather than 7 1/2 but it was cheap and I bought it. I then had it transferred into AIFF files (high quality), which took two months due to scheduling, but I got it this evening and am listening to the first symphony and despite the slower speed it sounds pretty good, just crunchy on the loud passages, but the performance is quite wonderful and now I'm looking forward to hearing the rest. The conductor is Akea Watanabe with the Japan Philharmonic. He recorded the cycle again for Denon in the 90s, but that's not supposed to be anywhere near as good as this, and the cheapest copy of that OOP CD is $250!
