Well, you've read the notes, the notes were not Agatha Christie's, and now it is time for you to post until the Christie cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PIERIAN!
-
First post after BK!
-
Second post after BK!
-
Good night.
-
Good night, Tom.
-
Can't wait to hear the new CD!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Well, here we are again. Friday.
And with Friday comes another op'nin', another show.
Pray for Ariel's legs. Or something.
-
This is the interview I did yesterday with Bonnie Sher. I'm the first guest.
Probably not my best interview. Still not in top form since the surgery.

TOD:
Assuming the DVD arrives as promised tomorrow, we will be watching LA LA LAND.
-
Good Morning to all

Question for Elmoore
Did the Babes In Toyland concert use the restoration of the score that you worked so diligently on for all that time?
-
Getting here late this morning.
-
Nowhere near first on the East Coast.
-
Good morning, all!

Question for Elmoore
Did the Babes In Toyland concert use the restoration of the score that you worked so diligently on for all that time?
No. That work was all done for the Packard Humanities Institute and they own it. I honestly doubt they will sdo anything with it, unless give it to Ohio Light Opera to screw up. In the past year I've begun a new edition, which is why I was seeing Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts last summer.
-
I got home last night, posted here, and my back went out. It was a very restless night, and I'm in a great dseal of pain this morning.
-
Good morning, all.
-
So, it's back to bed and the heating pad,
-
Friday morning greetings! Quiet morning here, but later we have plans to attend a fundraising dinner at the nearby senior center and then head to Oxford for a concert by the Miami University Men's Glee Club.

Pain-relief vibes for DR Elmore!
-
Get better, feel better, Larry!
-
Happy Friday t'all!
-
A gorgeous walk in the neighborhood of The Airbnb where we're staying. It's out of town with a great view of the mountains. Beautiful morning even if the temperature were only 32.
-
I saw the BBC production of "Ten Little Indians" and was not impressed. It was "okay", but nothing I'd ever want to see again.
-
Get better, feel better, Larry!
Amen.

I hate it when stuff like this happens.
-
Good morning
-
Having major scheduling issues in my life this next month. I just want to stay home!

Am thinking about moving my retirement up to the end of July.
I'm just tired of working this job. Period. The end.
-
Good morning.
-
I'm up, I'm up - I think I got eight hours of sleep - or something like it.

I just bought the Blu-ray from Costco. I also bought Hidden Figures at the same time. :)

Pain-relief vibes for DR Elmore!
~~~Ditto!!~~~
-
I hope your back is feeling better soon, DR Elmore.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
MEGA BACK VIBES to Larry!
-
Health vibes to all of us.
-
I liked the BBC WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION better than BK did, which isn't saying much. I knew going into it that there'd been changes and I accepted that. (Whether there should have been a remake at all is another issue.) The new ending didn't really work for me, but I enjoyed the early part of the film.
-
Any news from JRand?
-
DR John G, I'm glad you're able to spend some time with Mickey. How's she coping?
-
I have high hopes, but am prepared for the worst, for Kenneth Branagh's remake of "Murder on the Orient Express" (a film so wonderful it need never be re-made, IMO).
-
At the moment, the pain is past. I am not sure I need surgery but I wish I knew how to control these sudden unwanted and unexpected bouts of agony. My brother Randy's back surgery is now scheduled for May 5. I honestly don't know if I need surgery or some other body adjustments.
-
Any news from JRand?
Good question. Haven't seen any sign of him on FB, either. Hope all is well and that he's tapping his foot impatiently while awaiting discharge.
-
Coping vibes to DR Ginny. I can understand your funk. It's a lot at once.
-
JRand's not here to lend his astrological expertise, but my sense is that the planets are completely out of whack!
-
I agree, but with muted hopes. I was surprised to hear someone was remaking it.
There's a lot of research on fasting to relieve pain. My pain lessened when I started drinking more water and I now find alkaline water helpful.
The best book I've found on pain is Sherry Rogers, MD's book, PAIN FREE IN 90 DAYS. It's packed with suggestions. She's been there, too. I've tried many of her suggestions, from both this and her other books, and many have helped.
Many people find acupuncture helpful for pain.
Hope you find some relief.
-
How are you feeling, Ron?
-
I guess Ron has gone.
TTFN.
-
Back from a quick blood pressure check and prescription refill.
-
Coping vibes to DR Ginny. I can understand your funk. It's a lot at once.
Ditto. Totally.
-
Keith and I are groaning over the thought of a dubbed version of Umbrellas
-
It is difficult to type with hiccups :D
-
How are you feeling, Ron?
I'm recovering. I was getting sick on Monday. Sneezed all morning. My co-workers were alarmed. By 3 p.m., I was pretty much done for the day, so I went home. Stayed out Tuesday and Wednesday. Worked yesterday, but felt terrible. Feel a lot better today but still am a bit under the weather.
Am working.
-
Ron, glad to hear that you're on the mend. Spring cold? Allergies? Not that virus where the room spins, was it?
Vibes your recovery continues.
-
Do you have plans for retirement other than the usual R&R? I know you'll be around family.
It sounds lovely.
I hope you can make it happen.
-
My plans are to relocate and find my place in the sun. Will likely reconnect with family and friends on long-term basis. Don't plan on working. Will putter and be busy, but not with anything too important or too demanding.
-
Coping vibes to DR Ginny. I can understand your funk. It's a lot at once.
Ditto. Totally.
And from me, too!
-
A lull.
-
::)
-
;)
-
And on that note (F#), I'm off to my parents' house for our (mostly) weekly family dinner.
-
Have a good rest of the evening, all!
-
Be back later.
-
Back from a long but fun casting day. We're in pretty good shape, I think, in terms of people who can carry a tune. We also made the final decision to do the show in the big theater.
-
Now we're dealing with our Kritzerland MD - someone he knew died yesterday. Naturally the funeral is Monday, our rehearsal day, but it's at twelve-thirty and we don't begin until three-thirty. But he also wants to go the shiva after and thinks we can just easily reschedule EIGHT performers to Tuesday, which is too difficult and opens up too many other problems that are not solvable. So, I'm being put in a bad position - but at least he can go to the funeral itself, and then perhaps join them after we're done.
-
I just finished watching LA LA LAND. Enjoyed it.
-
Good evening.
-
It has snowed several inches since 7 pm. Springtime in the Rockies my eye.
-
Lovely memory of DR Kerry, DR Laura.
-
We had an excellent day with Mickey and did not realize until the end of the evening that it's been a year since her husband died. That makes the trip all the more special.
-
We took her into Denver, parked near Union Station and spent hours walking around.
-
We stopped at a coffee shop and hair salon where I watched hipster barbers give the most meticulous haircuts and shave to their customers. It was rather fascinating.
-
Then we strolled down to a wine bar and restaurant where we gorged ourselves silly on roasted mushroom pizza with fontina cheese, lamb lollipops, lobster potstickers, a cheese plate and more, not to mention wine.
-
Then we strolled some more and hung out at Union Station before a massive dinner.
-
Mickey kept pace the whole time. I think she loved the gin martini, which I had the bartender make the way Glenn used to, most.
-
Then it started snowing. At least two inches accumulated before we got her home. The owner of our Airbnb cleared a path for us to get to our unit.
The snow continues to fall.
-
I'm off to bed.
-
Good...
-
Night ...
-
All ...
-
What?
-
One more.
-
Four!
-
Good evening!
-
Page 4? Ouch!
-
This is not good.
-
I started reading THRILL RIDE today.
-
Thank you, BK, for the goodies included.
-
I really appreciate the manuscript page.
-
Since I am working on my own book, it is very cool to have a part of BK's creative process.
-
And yes, I am enjoying the book, so far.
-
I had to stop reading because I was starting to feel like I was coming down with something.
-
Hopefully it is just a cold.
-
But I am getting a really bad sore throat.
-
I did work on the computer this morning.
-
Then it was time to get ready to meet Sandy for lunch.
-
I found out today that Tally, the elderly lady I used to have Sunday lunch with every week before she went move to a care facility in Massachusetts passed away . She was 99 in October , so she had a long life but I as still rather shocked at the news
-
I just got home a little bit ago.
-
As usual, we met at the buffet at the Emerald Queen.
-
Sandy said he was feeling pretty good today, after a bad day and night.
-
Still, I could tell he was not feeling his best.
-
A friend of mine had the opening night of one of his plays and I attended. It was quite good, afterwards I was invited to the diner with my friend and done of the cast and we had a lovely time.
-
Just what was needed after this week of woe
-
He still is thinking about going on the cruise to Alaska.
-
Laura, Hugs for you.
I am glad you have so many lovely memories of Kerry
That sounds like a nice evening.
-
I thought at first that you had just gotten off of work.
-
Well we have a breakfast date tomorrow ,owning. Skyping with the Vixter
-
She'll be 24
-
Well I guess it's actually already two hours into her birthday
-
Unless we want to be technical about it....she as born at 1:31 pm
-
She'll be 24
Yes, I saw that on the HHW calendar.
-
But I know exactly what I was doing 24 years ago at this time
-
I wasn't sleeping then either
-
Wish her a Happy Birthday from me.
-
Vixmom, you stopped talking.
-
Perhaps she went to bed.
-
Healing vibes to DR elmore.
-
Feel better vibes to DR Ron.
-
Recovery vibes to DR Jrand.
-
Rehearsal vibes to BK.
-
I need to change computers.
-
I'm back and Vixmom is gone.
-
My throat hurts!
-
I have Tylenol, but my doctor doesn't want me using it.
-
So do I make my doctor happy, or my throat happy?
-
Laura, my prayers are with you.
-
Finished with my viewing - I thought I was finished two hours ago but I thought I'd start another movie and by gum and by golly and buy bonds if I just didn't finish the damn thing.
-
I take it this one was good?
-
I had to stop reading because I was starting to feel like I was coming down with something.
Nooooooooo!!!!!!
A Very Happy Birthday (slightly early) to the Vixter!! :D
I have Tylenol, but my doctor doesn't want me using it.
For a sore throat, my drug of choice is Dimetapp.
No, that's not true. I use Dimetapp for colds. I don't think anything worked for me the last time I had a sore throat. I just had to ride it out. :P
What a coinkydink. After dinner and Phase 10 at my partents' tonight, I went to Fred Meyer and bought (totally on a whim) some parmesan cheese and some fontina cheese. I'd never had fontina cheese before and just decided to try it. I had some when I got home and it was pretty good.
-
Well...
-
...since...
-
...we're so darned close...
I had one dose left of Max Strength NyQuil Severe Cold and Flu tablets left from the last time I was sick. So I just took them. I was too sick last time to know if they helped.
-
They probably contain Tylenol, but I didn't bother to check
-
I am supposed to go see my friend, Sharry in EXIT LAUGHING tomorrow night.
-
There are 8 Guests waiting for BK's new notes.
-
I am supposed to go see my friend, Sharry in EXIT LAUGHING tomorrow night.
I kind of want to see that. I can't go this weekend, though. Maybe next weekend.
