Great performance of a really great song.
So, I'll have some fruity candies and listen to Shostakovich.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Super Strong Vibes for DR JRand66 today! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Elmore, your feeling poorly could be related to your blood sugar being out of whack. I know that happens to me. When I get a virus, the numbers can skyrocket.
I know that, DR JohnG, and to compound it, my allergies are going mad because of the pollen.
Congrats to MR BK & Co. on their success!
Thanks to all for the vibes!
I shall return in a few days. I have started the thread on my Facebook page where my sister might post an update or two - I haven't discussed details on THAT site the way I have here - do only six or seven people really know everything...
That being said! I must be off!
Monday morning greetings! Add me to the list of puny Hainsies/Kimlets - can't seem to shake these "allergies."
I had some tests done 20 years ago (or so) to determine just what it is I'm allergic to. I hoped to isolate the allergens and receive relief via some injection or pill.
To my surprise, it was determined I have ZERO allergies. I simply have "sensitivities" with the same symptoms as allergies. Wool makes me break out. Grasses leave me weeping. Dust clogs my sinuses.
But I have ZERO allergies.
Larry - I'm having blood sugar issues at the moment myself. I'm trying to deal with it with diet and exercise. I've stopped all sugar that's not in fruit or veggies, switched to gluten free bread if I absolutely have to have bread/tortilla's etc and have been concentrating on protein - lots of protein. It takes a while for your body to adjust, but it works - quickly usually. I've also stopped drinking coffee and switched to iced green tea - which is good for lowering blood sugar. Also, I've been taking a cinnamon supplement which is suppose to help also.
Most excellent vibes and xylophones for an early and safe return to us for Jrand.
Someone just tried to scam me over the phone.
I've been to market. Bozo the Taxi Driver brought me home. He seemed to have no idea of where he should ne driving, and I thought, I will never get home alive.
Did you pay the full fair?
I mentioned a week or so back that I'd started doing a daily regimen of drinking two TBSP of Red Cider Vinegar (raw and unfiltered) with some water because a cousin told me it could "drop" my high numbers.
I had a blood draw on Friday. EVERYTHING is WAY DOWN. Cholesterol (HDL and LDL), triglycerides, etc. Best results of the past four years. After only a month. Of course, I've also been on insulin and a stronger statin (Lipitor, aka Atorvastatin) which accounts for some of it. But my AC1 is the best it has been in years, as well.
Mega vibes to DR JRand for a successful procedure and smooth recovery!
Same scam as your parent's or a new one?
Open this for a photo of a rose ice cream cone. It is the best I can do using my tablet.
The revival recording of Hello, Dolly! is on NPR.org for anyone who wants a free listen.
A few years before my dad died some scammers got him. They told him he'd win some big sweepstakes, but he had to pay to enter. The first check he gave them was for $9000! They sent some Fedex-like service around to pick it up. They sent him a DVD player that didn't work, a fake diamond pendant, and a few other things. I don't think that was the only check he gave them, either. Gawd! I want to wring their necks! And why is it that nothing is done about these organizations?
Those of you watching your blood sugar may want to consider taking chromium. Small pills and inexpensive.
How's this, Jane?
That looks incredibly delish! :D
Larry, do you have Uber and Lyft as options?
It wasn't bad. Bette's not my favorite Dolly on disc.
Well I had a different kind of day at work. We went to the Medical Examiner Department today. I didn't faint or get sick when I saw what I saw and confess I'm a bit proud of myself for not doing so. I didn't know how I would react to seeing an autopsy or 2 or 3.
Sure was better than her performance in the theatre!!!!
"Emily" has called me three times in the past two weeks. I must give her credit; she is very skilled at completely NOT listening to the other person and PERSISTING with her pitch. The second time she called I yelled insults at her. The third time I just hung up. I don't know if there's a way to block those calls. My phone does everything under the sun, but can it block calls?
Ushering for Alice Cooper tonight. Why? I haven't a clue.
Evening all! I everyone is doing well. Mega vibes for DR JRand and DR Larry. I understand about the sugar. I feel horrible when my numbers are up.
The show was fun. Loud. Showy.
Couldn't resist the finale, which, of course, was School's Out. They sent out big beach ball balloons into the audience, a theater first. And the balloons were filled with confetti.
Ow.
It was another beautiful day here. That makes three in a row.
I had to replace the batteries on my scooter today. They were no longer holding a charge.
I'd heard that the rain is going to come back for the next 10 says.
That's too bad. Are they expensive?
Cheaper than a year's worth of gasoline.
