My sister Linda is having some exploratory surgery this morning to determine an unknown mass found over her jaw.
DR Jrand just posted on FB that he is home 😊
DR Jane: I split the 10mg Meltonin tablet and took one-half last night.
It was just right, I think. I'm more alert but I still slept through the night.
Also, DR Jane: Now that you are sleeping better than you were, you get to start all over with jet lag upon your return.

I went to his page and it was the first post I saw.
I am home from the doctor. My cholesterol and blood pressure are excellent. I've lost seven lbs and she's giving me three months to get my blood sugar levels down. Otherwise, more meds.
I can do it.

Good Morning, Fred!
I'm hoping my "Comey - Irresponsible" parody from last October didn't figure into that Comey mess.

So it's your fault!

Have you given consideration for your next Kritzerland to have one of your male singers doing it in drag and doing numbers from La Cage Aux Folles, Some Like It Hot, Kinky Boots or other shows?
Is Donna Murphy currently doing anything on Broadway?

If anyone ever consiers using Clutter.com because they advertise they start at $7/mo. and they pick up, box and store your goods...and re-deliver as you need...bear in mind that their costs for even a small space are astronomical.
They charge $858/mo. for a space the size I rent locally for $180/month.

In mid-June, she'll start playing Dolly on Tuesdays, which will be Bette Midler's night off.

If you can book drag queen Ginger Minj, I'll come.

DR JRand's post about being home is from April 29.
His sister Paula posted as a comment to his "signing off for a few days post:"
Jack is recovering from surgery and everything is going well! He thanks you all for your care and concern! He will be back soon to tell you all his news!
This has been my biggest laugh so far today.

It could be like Broadway Backwards also. I don't know that I'd have Sami singing Epiphany ... but there are other possibilities.

I just signed my contract for the 92nd Street Y Lerner and Loewe show in early June. I had never dealt with docusign before.
Thank you, all. Still waiting word on Linda and how things went.
We are packed and ready to leave tomorrow morning.

May you have a safe journey home!
Got a text from Linda. Apparently the infection is large and they removed the entire mass as well as any affected roots of teeth. She's tired but home.

I saw the osteopath today. He can see progress with my neck and back, which I attribute to my therapist, Erik. Erik and I aren't done yet, but it's always encouraging to see progress and to know you're on the right track.
I stopped at my favorite food store on the way home. I go right past it--well, no, because I always stop. And, yes, they had one of those wonderful almond croissants. "Had" being the operative word.

Almond, as in filled with almond paste? Yum.

DR Jeanne, vibes you continue to improve and can say goodbye to Erik in the near future.
Fixed one of the main problems at the end of the act, smoothed out the following section, and now it's time to take home the end of the act - raise the stakes, make it seem like all is lost, and make 'em want to come back for act two.

Don't know the plot. Haven't heard the songs. But I'm really enjoying the lessons of the rewrite.

Evening all! You'll never in a million years guess what I got invited to for this Saturday. Should I tell you or do you want to try to guess? ;)
How exciting, DR Elmore. Wish I could come see the show.

Another autopsy?
Wednesday is always a full house there because it's their special night But thanks to call ahead seating We only waited 3 minutes before being shown to our table
Not exactly what I would call a great day with Linda's surgery. Then I learned that someone who has been taking dance lessons almost as long as I have, Charlie, is in stage four of pancreatic cancer. It apparently has spread to his lungs and elsewhere. It's rather hard to take in.
Charlie's a doctor. He's about my age. It doesn't make sense.
Ok, I'll tell. I went to the local Renaissance Festival a month or so back. While I was there I met some guys who told me they are members of the Knights Templar. They were telling me about the things they do for charity--like visiting kids in the hospital with gifts at Christmas.
I said it sounded interesting so I friended the lead guy on Facebook. We chatted a couple times and he asked if I would like to come to one of their meetings/events so I said yes.
Anyway they are having a ceremony where one of them is going up in rank and I was invited to attend this Saturday.
I was told there are not many ladies in the group so they're looking for some to join.
I figure it's worth a look/see. I need to find some kind of group. I think I sit home alone
too much.
I think it's kinda cool.
Elmore, congratulations on your medical check-up. I am sure you can get your numbers under control (vinegar anyone?).

Tonight, I drank the suggested two tablespoons of vinegar diluted in a cup of water. :P , I say. :P

A cup of water? Would it be easier to drink in a larger amount of water?
And I certainly wasn't going to put the cider in my diet Coke!

Why not? It might mask the flavor.

Tom, do you not like diet Coke, or diet colas in general?

I don't drink colas of any kind. I meant the diet Coke would mask the flavor of the vinegar.
I wonder what it would be like if you mixed the vinegar in a glass of apple cider?
I suppose I should think about drinking it, before it turns to hard cider.
Actually the seal hasn't been broken, so I think I am pretty safe.
