Well, you've read the notes, the notes had fascination, and now it is time for you to post until the fascinating cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: WHIRLIGIG!
-
Hello.
-
Firet post after Jane! :D
-
DR TCB what an awful story, and you said "attempted" :(
-
I should attempt to go to sleep. I have lots to do tomorrow.
-
It is Bryan's last night with us and friends will be coming for dinner.
-
'night
-
DR TCB what an awful story, and you said "attempted" :(
I hadn't noticed that detail. :-\

They haven't found the fisherman's body, yet.
-
Good night, Jane.
-
Good night, Tom.
-
Oh, good night, George.
-
By this point I'm simply assuming the promised Thrill Ride reviews from Vixmom and TCB are never coming.
-
The weather is supposed to improve for the weekend.
-
The old actors' lunch today is at Hank's Tavern.
-
They have a really good pizza that I always enjoy.
-
So, what did I have for dinner last night?
-
By this point I'm simply assuming the promised Thrill Ride reviews from Vixmom and TCB are never coming.
Actually, I was working on it yesterday. I am not very good at writing reviews.
-
I apologize for being so slow.
-
I suppose I should go to sleep.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I should run to 2nd Avenue and 19th Street this morning. I'd rather be shot, but if I wait till they open to call and tell them I won;t come in until after June 16th, I could be there.
-
Good morning to all
-
Getting there vibes for DR ELMORE.
Great notes today....the shows are happening.
When I did DIAL M FOR MURDER - I played Tony and was adequate, I guess - the director was an idiot. I was watching her block the scene where the murderer comes into the apartment to hide....and she said: "Now this is where you have to leave the door open so the audience can see you put the key under the stair carpet....."
And I said.....hold your horses, lady! That's the point of the show, if the audience knows at this point that the key Tony takes from the dead man and puts in Margot's purse is NOT the key to the apartment - you are killing most of the suspense.....
She listened to me, but she was very unhappy.....
-
Good morning, all.
-
Shocking that this is the end of May. Hell's bells, I haven't even figured out yet where the months of March and April went.
-
TCB, I don't remember what I said about Room 237 way back whenever, but what I'd say about it now is that some of its observations or "findings" are clever, while others are just way out there and silly. But by the time I got to the end, I was taking it as a pretty good spoof, a sendup of some of the worst kind of lofty bullshit film analysis -- and, as such, I found it amusing and entertaining enough. I know some people take it very seriously. Not me. But I will give it a second viewing sometime for the halibut.
-
Good morning.
I hope today is not the whirligig that yesterday was.

DR vixmom: I stand corrected regarding the location of your photo on the Alexandria waterfront!
-
DR vixmom: I've also been to Samuel Beckett's restaurant near the Signature Theatre. They have a couple of good vegetarian dishes.

Barbra's beloved dog, Sammie, has died. She was 14.

-
DR vixmom: I've also been to Samuel Beckett's restaurant near the Signature Theatre. They have a couple of good vegetarian dishes.
that must be new (since my departure). I used to frequent Shirlington Village -- well, quite frequently.
-
I had a therapy session with Erik today. There was a lot more tension in my back than I was aware of. If I were ever to clone anyone it would be Erik!

DR Jeanne--there's a whole street of restaurants (and some shops). The AMC movie theater has been renovated and now has recliner-seats. The Shirlington library is next to the Signature Theatre. There's a Harris Teeter supermarket. Lots more.

-
DR Kevin, So sorry to hear about Barbra's Sammie!!! She must be heartbroken!!!

Well, we didn't cover ourselves with glory today but we didn't embarrass ourselves either, so that's a good thing. Everyone's happy with the charts, and the band is excellent.
I have one number to do along with an an insert in "How To Handle A Woman." I'll try to have them both for tomorrow's loooooong day,
-
The cast is excellent, too.
-
It is so interesting to see the comments about what actors our DR'S have met or personally know!!! Thanks for participating!!!
-
DRS, Guess what I am watching on TV right now!!!
-
Good evening.
-
Wae-Ling and I went hiking for a portion of The Arizona Trail, which goes from Mexico to Utah. Probably about four miles of it.
-
Then we stopped in the tiny town of Pine to have lunch in a local diner. She wanted to try something new: a patty melt.
My gosh, you could have wrung a quarter cup of fat out of that sandwich.
-
TOD: Jason Graae, although I have only seen him acting once. I see his concerts.
-
Tomorrow is Freedom Day, my favorite personally made-up holiday. We have something special planned.
-
I have comps for the Y performances Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, if any one would like one or two.

What is your favorite black and white movie???
-
Evening all! I found out that Michael Ball was in NYC last week and did a concert. Dang! Not that could have afforded to be able to come right now but I sure would have enjoyed being able to see him and visit my NYC friends.
-
TOD--I'm horrible at these things but I think one of my all time favorite movies, "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" was B&W--wasn't it?

Oh--I got a Page 4 Dance!!!!!

Alone again, Naturally.

Ghost and Mrs. Muir was B&W, Danise. I enjoyed that.

While walking we noticed a sheriff's SUV pulling a police boat. It probably had been one of the boats under the bridge and come back by way of the boat launch we often walk to.
