Vibes to all that need them, all that want 'em and everyone else for good measure
Continued Illinois visit vibes for DR GINNY.
It was a bad night, and now my allergies are wreaking havoc.
HUMONGOUS heat vibes for DR Ron Pulliam!
The elevator is back in service. What a relief!
Vixmom, I was damned near hyperventilating by the end of that story.
Did you ever consider writing action thriller screenplays??

So...I'm in the middle of this annoying project, for which my printer decided to run out of toner and not allow me to continue. I had no choice but to replenish, without even shopping around for best price, so I wasn't in the greatest of moods jumping in the car and driving five miles to Staples for a new toner cartridge.
As I neared the store, however, I looked over at some new construction on the other side of the road, and my mood brightened considerably.
Anyone (vixmom, for instance) care to take a guess at what I saw?

Not sure this is appropriate after Rons post
;)
It'll be my first one.
I won't have a chance to get over there before next week, so probably Monday or Tuesday evening. Looking forward.
ASK BK
Dial M For Murder question.
I noticed that in the original London production that the wife is called Sheila and in the original NYC production it was changed to Margot.
The synopsis on the Samuel French page calls her Margot, but the play excerpt uses Sheila.
Which one are you using?
I'm up - alarm didn't go off - very late start to the day but I guess I needed the nine hours of sleep.

9 hours of sleep...one week I'll get that much
But still a very handsome photo.

Jerry's parking lot was completely full, whereas yesterday it was completely empty - so I went to Popeye's and got a couple of breasts and I'm happy. The Shermans just left with the script to the show, and I had no packages.

Novelty wore off fast, huh, DR Vixmom? ;)

What is this newest trendy nonsense - the Whole30 diet? And why are people constantly taken in by these things? They do them, lose weight they could lose anyway, and then gain it all back within six months. But they SWEAR by it and try to get all their friends to do it.
Then I decided to see what all the fuss is about Chick-fil-A

We are expecting weather to heat up dramatically today and tomorrow. Possibly record-breaking heat for Oakland.

That's pretty cool! My library doesn't have this book, but I put in a request for purchase.

I have never been, nor will I ever go, to a Chick-fil-A. :P

Smart decision in my opinion 😉

I had to look this up. 30 stands for 30 days so it isn't a long term diet. It is changing the way you eat, supposedly using foods that will make you feel better as well as lose weight. Then you switch to something else, adding & changing foods depending how you react to them.

You're supposed to do 30 days and then you're supposed to feel so good that you eat that way the rest of your life.
Apparently a Downton Abbey movie is in the works.

Back from a good run-through. Only a handful of call for lines in act three. I hate not getting out of there at ten sharp, but we haven't been starting on time - tonight we started at seven-forty and with the two ten-minute breaks finished exactly two hours later - I am VERY proud of that. But I had a lot of notes and that kept us there until ten-thirty.
Well, tonight we don't have rehearsal for Hairspray, so I'm able to go to Harlequin Productions (https://harlequinproductions.org/)' volunteer appreciation night and final preview for their production of First Date. I have the CD and enjoy it, so it's nice that I'll finally get to see it.
Be back later!
Starting in on the earliest version of The Maltese Falcon with Bebe Daniels and Ricardo Cortez.
Of course, I have eaten Papa John's pizza and not gotten my Democrat card revoked.
The medium home price in Seattle is now $650,000.00. Ouch!

Well, First Date was very good! It had a simple but effective set, good costumes, and a wonderful cast. I knew three of the seven actors and they were all great!
Today I skipped the old actors lunch and, instead, had lunch with my friend, Sharry.

I miss those rehearsals at this stage of the production. When you are off-book and you can really start polishing your character and the show in general.
