Well, you've read the notes, the notes were lively and talked back, and now it is time for you to post until the lively cows come home.

From yesterday:  Tom, I didn't have a hot dog at Safeco Field.  We first went to Pike Place Market and walked around there for a bit, then decided to walk to Safeco Field from there (it was all downhill, quite an easy walk, and really not too far).  As we were walking, we saw quite a few places to eat, and then I saw Quiznos!  There used to be one here in Tumwater, but they closed quite a few years ago.  I really liked them!  David had never even heard of them, so we went there for lunch.  Neither of us had had breakfast, so we were both pretty hungry.  It was as good as I remembered it and David really enjoyed it, too!  He said he'd definitely go back.  Anyway, I was actually thinking that I would get a chili hot dog at the stadium at some point during the game, but I just forgot and didn't have anything to eat there.  We didn't eat again until we went to Norm's in Freemont...which I probably would've done, even if I had gotten the hot dog. ;)

Were you sitting in the sun at the game?

Fortunately, we were in the shade for most of it but by about the sixth inning, the sun was at an angle that it was shining on us from behind and to our left, so it wasn't shining in our eyes.

David works at the stadium as an usher, so he got the tickets for free.  He said that those seats would otherwise cost $100 each! :o

I turned off the lights at 9:00 last night.  I only remember one dream.  I was at the World Trade Center for something and the elevators were out.  We had to walk the stairs and I thought, are they conserving energy in this heat wave?  About half-way down, we stairs opened onto this floor where there were banking offices and you had to walk around the building to the staircase.  The banking staff let me use their private elevator and I left the building where all these MTA buses were lined up.

There were other dreams.  Ted Chapin was in one of them, but they are too vague now.

I must be at the stage door by 8:30, so I will leave here around  7:30, take the 79 Street crosstown bus to Columbus and then take a No. 11 bus to 42 and 9th Avenue.  This could be a day from hell, so we'll see how things go.  There's too little time to really finesses today.

Yes, it is sad, BK. However, on ebay the books will go to someone who will treasure them. If they went to Half-Price books, they will just get dumped into a bin.

Kerry's house was full of books and art. I was invited to choose some things, which I did. But there was a LOT of stuff.

We are very relieved Craig missed the heatwave and enjoyed a break from his temps and humidity.

I feel for the poor painters doing the back of our building with the sun beating down on them.

We are also relieved they did not cover all our windows with plastic and begin the work until after we took Craig to the airport.  It is not pretty here at the moment.

Yes, I know I know.  I just want to do it.  I really like using MainStage and all the plug-in libraries - I think it's fun to create that way.  The patch descriptions are very detailed, and once I figured a few things out, it was easier to start.  There are just a LOT of them, plus Keyboard 2 is also the bass.

Well, I got home tonight, waiting for me in my mailbox was the complete (recorded off TV) series of Rupert Holmes' Remember WENN!  I'v spot checked episodes on the first three discs (of eight) and they all look pretty good.

I bought a supposedly complete set about 8 or 9 years ago, but every other disc was defective! :o I wasn't able to contact the seller again.  I was taken. >:(

I decided to take another chance and got these from someone on iOffer (https://www.ioffer.com/), and so far, these are certainly good enough for me!

The only negative (so far) is that there are no chapter stops at all.  Each episode is just one track so if you accidentally hit the chapter forward button, it'll jump to the next episode.  Not a deal breaker, by any means.

I don't know if I'm making any progress in physical therapy or not. There is really only one exercise that causes me to grit my teeth and that's when the therapist folds my leg back back behind me while I'm lying face down.

That hurts just reading about it.  Which way does he (or she) fold it?

The leg is lifted off the table and then folded back, foot to butt, as far as possible.

I am not sure my knee could handle that.

I'm watchimg the Christmas episode with guest star Betty Buckley.  I remembered that I have the Rupert Holmes songbook and the songs that she sings in the episode are in the songbook!

I watched (earlier) the first episode with Carolee Carmello as Maple LaMarsh.  That was a funny episode!
