Well, you've read the notes, the notes felt like a holiday, and now it is time for you to post until the holiday cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: GREGARIOUS!
-
First post after BK!
-
T.O.D.
When I first heard an saw Lady Gaga, I just thought she was weird. Then I saw her interviewed on ELLEN, or one of those shows; and I was surprised how sweet and genuine she seemed. I still am not a fan of her music, but I don't dislike her.
-
Second poster after BK!
-
T.O.D., Part 2
I am not really a big fan of any pop artists, but I do like Adele and Justin Timberlake.
-
Good night, BK.
-
Good night, George.
-
Topic of the Day:
I had heard of Lady Gaga, but didn't pay attention. Then Amazon gave away or significantly reduced the price of one of her albums and I decided to get it. I took the opportunity to actually hear her voice and enjoyed it and her songs. I'm certainly not one of her "Little Monsters" (her diehard fans), but whenever I've heard one of her songs, I've found that more often than not, I like it.
-
Good night, Tom and BK.
Have a good day, all!
-
DR TCB, what a relief regarding the key. That you "passed" your blood test I am not surprised.
-
When the phenomenon that is Lady Gaga began I had a discussion with Craig about her. He had nice things to say about her and was impressed with how well she had marketed herself.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I only know Gaga from her album with Tony Bennett, which is quite good.
-
I am not a GAGA fan, but I do not mind hearing her sing now and then....the public persona is a bit TOO much for me....and her "acting" in various projects is from the Joey Heatherton School of Drama....first year.....
-
Today we are going to take a table that we purchased over to my soon to be ex-sister-in-law's new apartment.... While we were at the Goodwill yesterday, I saw another member of the class of 1968....they seem to be coming out of the woodwork lately.....
-
TOD: besides those already mentioned, of the really big pop stars, I like Meghan Trainor quite a lot.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Been catching up a bit on the California fires, which are just hideous.
I could hardly believe the Santa Rosa fires. One of my best friends lives there, and I'd been thinking that they're out in a regular flat neighborhood in the middle of town, away from hills and trees, they're safe. Nope. They're just blocks from the whole Coffey Park neighborhood that got destroyed. Their house was spared, but some around them burned. Horrible.
-
Good morning to all
-
TOD
I've heard the name Lady Gaga, and I've gathered that she's a sensation of some sort, and controversial. That's the extent of my knowledge. Actually, that's the extent of my knowledge of most pop artists these days.
-
Good morning, all!
-
Another poor night of sleep. I will survive.
-
DR George, I loved the photo! I'm happy you and Neve are bonding and even happier that she's not complaining about the litter box location. Until Annabelle decided she was content with the location of hers, I worried that she was going under the bed, in one of the closets.
I've been usign these two sites a lot for any questions I have:

I must make a trip to the bank this morning. Beyond that, I will putter around the apartment, do a few edits, pack a carton. I do wish Joshie would come and take a few of these CDs.
-
DR TCB, I am happy there was a happy resolution to the key situation. I hope you are now duplicating that single key.
-
Good morning.
-
TCB, make a few copies of the key. Keep one in your car and a couple others at your house.
-
TOD: I don't know from pop stars.
I picked up the "I don't know from" from BK. Great phrase.
-
This morning, Annabelle discovered there's a world outside my apartment. She made it past me into the hallway, but I was able to grab her before she took off on an expedition.
-
She's back to the window. As soon as the sun rises, she's waiting for birds and pedestrians.
-
!! Page 2 Dance !!
-
Val stopped by to see Annabelle, they played a bit of "track the fishie," and then she abandoned him to return to her window watching.
-
Tuesday morning greetings! I have an appointment today with an attorney to help me with what little Mom had left. Don't want to make any missteps disentangling from Medicaid...
-
Good morning!
-
Greetings from Amtrak NE Regional Train 95. Just left Newark.
-
She's back to the window. As soon as the sun rises, she's waiting for birds and pedestrians.
Rob calls that "Kitty TV." Their cat, Allie, loves the wide sills on our picture windows, especially when the one in the kitchen is sunny.
-
TOD:
I very much like the songs I've heard on the radio, which are "Bad Romance", "Poker Face", and "Born This Way". But I guess I haven't liked them enough to buy a whole album.
-

I was relieved a friend in Santa Rosa was able to return home last night. She is not complaining that she doesn't have power.
Vibes to your friends.
I am watching for news from people I know in So. California who also had to evacuate.

Good suggestions. People don't realize a fall from a counter, or anything low, is dangerous. It is not true cats always land on their feet, especially from a lower drop. They need time to right their bodies before landing. We once had a kitten with a broken leg when it fell.
My decision to use flea products on my indoor cats depended where I lived. Never ever use Hartz or Sergeants products, they kill cats. I can't believe the products are still around, and still causing harm. We almost lost a cat 47 years ago to a flea collar and the vet then informed us to not use either brand.

Thanks, Larry. According to that list, I'm doing pretty good. :)

Excellent idea.
-
Although, I've never heard about brushing your cat's teeth before. :-\
-
Really?
-
Knowing it is a good idea to brush your cat's teeth and accomplishing the deed..... ;D

Annabelle and I have not moved to that ordeal yet, but Feline Greenies makes a treat for dental care and Annabelle loves them.
https://www.amazon.com/GREENIES-Tempting-Ingredients-Vitamins-Nutrients/dp/B0176EO97M/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1507655988&sr=8-5&keywords=feline+greenies
-
The Greenies are also available in a poultry flavor, which we need to try, and in this variety pack:

-
Regarding Greenies, please use them sparingly. We briefly used them for our dogs and decided to stop. I suggest doing research on the product. You will find pros and cons on the subject.
-
I'm up, I'm up. A little under eight hours of sleep.
-
Marketing herself is a strong point for Lady Gaga, absolutely.
-

I think it's a good idea to give ANY treats sparingly. Most of them are, after all, candy/junk food for cats and dogs. I should do my own research, as well, but I've pretty well convinced everyone here to at least make them an occasional thing, and to hand them out in moderation even at those times.
-
There are also decent dry foods aimed at dental care. Depends on the animal, of course, but for cats like ours whose primary diet is canned food but they really like dry food as well, that dry food works beautifully as treats.
-
Key vibes for DR TCB.
Rainy here today - we delivered the table and chairs which fit perfectly in the new apartment.
-
I need a nap.
-
It doesn’t look good at work to do that.
-
I know. I shouldn’t worry about appearances.
-
This morning, Annabelle discovered there's a world outside my apartment. She made it past me into the hallway, but I was able to grab her before she took off on an expedition.
I'm planning on eventually letting her out into my very little back yard. It's totally enclosed, she can't get under the bottom of the fence, and she's too old and the fence is too high for her to climb up and over. I figure as long as I let her out when I'm home, she'll be fine out there. :)

I put these in a cart, but my niece said that Neve's teeth might be sensitive, so I'll have to get more information from her and about these.

Thanks for the suggestion, ChasSmith and Jane.

I need a nap.
It doesnt look good at work to do that.
Here at work, we used to have a janitor who had a cot in our storage area (which is no longer used for storage), and right at 5:00 pm each day, he'd go back there and take a nap. He eventually retired and took the cot with him. ;)

Neve looks like a sweetheart.
Will you be taking her to her regular vet or transferring to one closer to you? There might be something in her records to help you decide which dry food treats are best for her.

Great story.

Now that I've been through my CDs, I'm clearing out DVDs. Annabelle has been helping me, but she's not very good: she mostly knocks the piles over, then waits until I open the next drawer to jump in and flip through the DVDs.
For dinner, she decided she wanted mine, but she only took a small piece of fried chicken, and succotash really wasn't to her taste.
-
T.O.D.
I don't think about Lady Gaga.
-
Yesterday I worked by phone with the actors doing my Errol Flynn and Clark Gable audio books.
Today, I worked with the Gable actor again, and while I was talking to him, the actress doing my Carole Lombard play on audio called on the other line, so for awhile I was going back and forth between them.
I felt like saying: "Why don't you guys talk when you get home."
:D

My niece said that Larry never took her to a vet. He'd only had her for less than a year, but my niece doesn't know if the previous owner even took Neve to a vet. :-\
-
Page three? Really?

Oh my. If by some miracle she has a microchip you might be able to get some medical records. She seems to be doing well without medical care. How do her teeth look?
-
Good afternoon. Today I participated in some kind of nationwide nature observation project. Our assigned area was so dry that it was a bust for us. Still -- a hike is a hike.
-
Page three? REALLY?
-
Been getting everything ready for the Richard Sherman thing tomorrow, so that's all done now.

I haven't actually looked. My niece said that Larry only fed her canned food, which she loves, but her previous owner only fed her dry. I have both out for her and she's eaten both, so that's good. But yes, when she's settled in more, I'll take her to the vet and let them look her all over.
-
That's funny DR DRUXY!!
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Yesterday was practically a non-stop day, and today I've been trying to take care of what I didn't get to yesterday. I'm pooped.
-
Larry, have you recovered from your fall?
-
I'm enjoyed all the pet pix.
-
PAGE THREE COMFY CAT DANCE!!
She does indeed look comfy.
-
Discomforting story, TCB, about your scooter key. I'm very glad someone was able to get it out for you.
-
I didn't realize people had to be tested for opiates, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
-
I didn't realize Lady Gaga had many fans. I was surprised to learn that she's able to sing. IMHO, when you market yourself that way many people won't take you seriously.
-
Continued healing vibes to Jrand.
-
DR Ginny, I'm glad your trip went smoothly.
-
I, too, need a nap.
TTFN.
-
Good evening.
(Spoken in my best Alfred Hitchcock manner.)
-
Just had a fun meeting about this mostly irreverent holiday revue I'll be playing the month of December.
-
New or old songs in the revue, ChasSmith?
-
All original material. My friend wrote it and it was first performed it in 2015. (I wasn't involved in that one.) This is its first revision and revival.
-
Thanks DR JEANNE.
-
Page four? Really?
-
Must go put some gas in the motor car.
-
Gratuitous Post #100!
-
And now, it's time for me to leave work.
Be back later.
-
Gas prices here are finally starting to fall. I paid $2.19 a gallon yesterday, and the same station was charging $2.15 today.
-
And that fascinating fact is just one of many I have.
-
But I've forgotten the rest.
-
Aren't you lucky?
-
Good night, all.
-
I'm home and watching "Grey's Anatomy."
-
Perhaps we should get some postin' goin' on?
-
Very unseemly.
-
Good evening!
-
Page 4? Seriously?
-
Happy Tuesday.
-
Tonight was the season premiere of THE FLASH.
-
So, today I decided I needed to watch the final episode from last season, which I missed before.
-
Tonight I got all ready to watch THE FLASH and......
-
I fell asleep!
-
I missed the whole damn show.
-
Hmm, reruns are only about six months away.
-
One more post.

'night
-
Today was a lazy day.
-
But, my mistake was that I didn't take a nap this afternoon.
-
Good night, Jane.
-
Hello, Tom.
-
I am having real problems getting my iPad to post.
-
Here's a picture of Neve.
-
Just had to share. ;)
-
Finally after 25 minutes.
-
How does Neve like her new daddy?
-
Nicky has spent the whole evening sleeping in the front hall.
-
How does Neve like her new daddy?
She really likes it when I scratch and pet her.
-
She hasn't been afraid to be around me.
-
This seems to be his favorite spot in the whole house.
-
Right now, she's sleeping on the back of my recliner that's down in my TV room.
-
This seems to be his favorite spot in the whole house.
Everyone's gotta have one. ;D
-

Yeah, but I would rather it was with me.

Yeah, but I would rather it was with me.
I hear that. I brought Neve up into my bedroom and showed her the pet stairs that my niece gave me. We'll see if she uses them on her own.
-
Nicky loves his pet stairs.
