Have a good day, George.
I must get ready to leave soon, as I'm meeting a lady in the city who (so I hear) has her way with all the guys.

It appears that Miss Annabelle has accepted her home as her own.....
I have a question for those of you who are more familiar with the backstage gossip of Broadway than myself.
Considering his roles in OKLAHOMA!, KISS ME KATE and KISMET, I've always considered Alfred Drake to be one of the great talents on the Broadway musical theater. However, as I recall, when I was more active in the business, whenever his name came up, it was greeted with a scowl or a brief nasty remark with no explanation.
So, my question is "Why?".
Was he considered to be an a**hole among his fellow workers, or what?
I'm not writing a book about him. I've just always been curious about that reaction.
DR JohnG, if you're going to have good results from your therapy, I think you'll feel it a day or two after. After my therapy bouts, I was usually in pain for a good day.

I'm just the maid.

Our DR ChasSmith just departed with a car load of cartons and a camera pf photos of the luscious Annabelle. I think she was unhappy that I dragged her from her perch on the pet carrier in the closet to come play with us.

I hope there is a photo of Annabelle on her perch before you dragged her off of it :)
I vote for more cat photos.
I have my fingers crossed that at least one of two expected checks shows up in today's post.
My book, HOLLYWOOD SNAPSHOTS: The Forgotten Interviews, is finally available on Kindle.
It contains my exclusive interviews with Jack Oakie, Claire Trevor, John Carradine, Ann Miller, Paul Henreid, Gale Sondergaard, Howard Keel, Yvonne DeCarlo, David Janssen, Mary Pickford, members of "The Little Rascals" cast, and many other actors, directors, producers and song writers.
Many of the often shocking things they said to me never made print...until now.

Back!
Annabelle is amazing! Really gorgeous, and more exotically so than is captured easily in photos. I took a few which I’ll post later.
She was really into her nap, but she tolerated our intrusion like the little lady she is. I could quickly see why Val is so fond of stopping in to see her.
Put up the two additional signed A Kiss Goodnight books - both went in two minutes.

Druxy, I bought the physical book for my dad for his birthday. He's really enjoying it. :)
Tonight, in 1935, "Jubilee," the Cole Porter-Moss Hart musical, opened on Broadway. The original orchestrations and scores have disappeared, and I was fortunate to be asked to reconstruct and orchestrate the show for performances at Town Hall, March 1-2, 1986. Since then, it has been performed in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Carnegie Hall, Indiana University Opera Theatre, and London.

That's beautiful, Elmore.
Annabelle is very photogenic!
I vote for more cat photos.
Here's one of me with Neve clawing my neck...this was taken before I was able to clip her nails. :o

Nope. I was screwed again today! Dammit.

Great cat pictures from DR George, too!

Neve looks good, you look great.
For those who want more kitty photos...
I have so much trouble with Photobucket. I also can't make the photos smaller on my blog.
So here is a link. These are the cats that showed up this spring in my backyard. The two black ones are the kittens (now big). You will notice that the other three have their left ears tipped. That indicates that they have been fixed. One of my neighbors took them in, apparently. I need to catch the two "kittens" soon.

Here's Neve relaxing as I ketchup on HHW. ;)
There is a baseboard heater right there in the hall. Like a lot of old people, he doesn't like the cold.
George, you need to post another 88 posts very quickly!
One of the worst storms to hit the west coast of the United States.
I just watched the first episode of the new show, "Me, Myself & I, (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6477194/reference)" where the lead character Alex is played by three different actors at three different ages in his life. The oldest aged Alex is played by John Larroquette. The unrequited love of his life, who was supposed to be in the same grade (and age) when the characters are at their youngest, is played by Sharon Lawrence at their oldest age. However, Sharon Lawrence is 14, count 'em, 14 YEARS YOUNGER than John Larroquette!

John Larroquette is also five or six inches taller than his middle self.
