Well, you've read the notes, the notes were short, short notes, and now it is time for you to post until the short, short, long, long cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: NUNCUPATIVE!
-
Good early morning to all
-
Hope everyone is well
-
Vibes for TCB's sister.
-
BK - if you like the rigatoni bolognese at Gelson's, one day you have to try it at the West Bank Cafe, which I mentioned the other day is one of my favorite Italian dishes. it's worth the splurge and they even do take-out (though I think not delivery).
-
Good morning, all!
-
I am very embarrassed: I was awakened 45 minutes ago by Miss Annabelle. I've spent the past 30 minutes believing it was Monday.
-
DR TCB, internal hemorrhaging? What is going on?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Super Mega Health Vibes for the sister of our DR TCB! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-
Now that it's Sunday and not Monday, I must rethink my day.
-
Good morning, all.
-
We watched Spellbound last night. I don’t think I’d ever seen it whole before and without commercials. I enjoyed it much more than I’d remembered.
-
We also watched the original Front Page. Criterion has cleaned it up perhaps as best as possible but there are some sound issues. Still, a highly enjoyable film.
-
Good morning, all.
-
God damn, these matinee-day mornings are short! :)
-
Final performance today, and then on to other things. I have two weeks in which to learn this holiday revue before we begin rehearsals.
-
Vibes for TCB's sister!
-
Strongest of vibes for the sister of DR TCB.
-
I hope to soon have my mouth agape at MR BK's news!
-
When I read Bolognese....I always think of baloney.....
-
DR George, I did not realize Larry was in the hospital when you took Neve. Three weeks is a long time, sending healthy vibes his way.
-
Last night we watched THE BIG SICK. Has anyone besides DR George seen this? If not, I highly recommend you do so.
-
DR TCB, I hope there is good news regarding your sister today.
-
Closing day vibes for Chas!
-
Annabelle is happy now that she's eaten and peed, and now she's climbing bookcases. I can hear her sneezing somewhere above me, near the ceiling. Well, she just landed safely, bringing no books with her. And here I was worried about her being lethargic.
-
Closing day vibes for Chas!
Ditto!
-
Awww! The Bedford cat rescue group just posted this photo. Little petunia has been adopted and she is off to her new home. I wish I could have adopted her. I will always root for this little runt.
-
Cute 😊
-
Amd to make me even sadder, it has been confirmed online that Archie was adopted.
-
That would have been decent of them.
-
I just got an email from the Cat Guy. He just looked at my application and I'm too old for a kitten, he thinks. His suggestion, get another cat from K9Kastle, my source for Annabelle, or adopt an older cat who won't outlive me.
-
!! 2 !! 2 !! 2 !! 2 !! 2 !!
-
Well that was rude. Following that theory, I shouldn't think about getting another dog either.....
-
I thought so, but I remain undeterred. I will continue to look.
At least he wrote and gave you his opinion. Now you know not to look at anymore of their kittens.
-
That would be another puppy, not dog ;)
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep maybe.
-
Too Old for a Kitten - that's the title of my next novel.
-
For those who think Amazon reviews are meaningless, they are not - they change Amazon's algorithms - we've gotten several orders for Claus and Rachmaninov because of one review for each left by ChasSmith - whereas we had gotten 0 orders from Amazon prior to that. So please, if you've listened to those go write a review and let's keep them algorithms rhythmic.
-
Good afternoon.
-
Prayers and vibes for TCB's sister.
-
I'm glad Petunia got adopted. I'm glad for Archie that he got adopted. There will always be cats and kittens needing homes.
-
When Joshie died I looked on a local shelter's website. They had a cow cat that was on their page then that just disappeared last week. I'm glad she got adopted. She waited a long time. Sometimes I felt like I just wanted to go get her.
-
True DR JANE....but then I am not really in the market yet.
-
Sunday afternoon greetings! I accompanied Fr. Richard to church today because he assisted in the service and delivered the sermon. As you know, I often stay home alone on Sunday mornings and I'm very glad I did not today. Apparently, at 11:40am one of our backyard trees cracked in two and fell into our neighbor's yard. It knocked down part of her fence and terrified her dogs. Fortunately we have the same homeowners insurance company and Richard will contact them first thing tomorrow. We'll also have to have the tree removed :'(
-
Yikes, Ginny. Glad no one was hurt!
-
Yes, DR FJL, it could have been much worse.
-
True DR JANE....but then I am not really in the market yet.
Annabelle's more than enough for me. I'm running on the compulsion that she needs a companion.
-
Today we are having a battle of wills. I am determined that she will eat what I give her. I have been too prodigal with treats, and I think that's all she wants now. So, no more treats for a bit/
-
;D I know.
-
LOL! I think Annabelle is happy enough just having you to boss around.
-
Finally finished going through the remainder of the garage boxes and tossed another six. Here's the biggie I found: Twilight Zone Trading Cards Premiere Edition - a SEALED box, two autograph cards per box (don't know how many boxes are within the box - I found one used copy of this box on eBay - over 2K. So, I'm selling it.
-
Found one more Harvey Schmidt doodle that will go up in the morning - really cool, but I also found a suite of twelve original Harvey doodles he called Twelve Red D's. These are twelve separate typing paper-sized doodles of red letter D's - amazing, and has a title page drawn by him, too. I'm not sure what to charge should I want to put them on the Indiegogo campaign.
-
Those are from October of 1994
-
Yikes, Ginny. Glad no one was hurt!
DITTO!
Ask the tree people to make sure you don't have any other trees that look as if they too will break.
-
I agree with DR Laura, and your holding off on the treats for now.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Bruce, what is your new Indiegogo goal, including fees and CD?
-
Mega vibes to TCB's sister!
Oh, dear. Glad no one was hurt. Vibes it goes smoothly.
-
Larry, sorry you didn't get Archie.
-
We have to make another $600 or 700 to cover fees. Then if we can make another 7 to 10 grand I think we can do a cast album - minimally I can record it live and make that recording ONLY available to Indiegogo folks.
-
OMG, DR Ginny!
Yes, you (and everyone) are so fortunate that no harm came to any people or animals. And yep, this is what insurance is for.
Whew!
-
The Cat Guy sounds rather presumptuous to me.
Wow, I didn't realize the fees were so high.
-
The Cat Guy sounds rather presumptuous to me.
Seriously. I've never heard of them saying such a thing, or presuming to determine expected life spans of humans vs. cats. WTF?
Exactly.
I took care of an important errand and now have the rest of the day to myself.
-
Have a good week ahead, everyone.
TTFN.
-
DR GINNY that was scary!
-
Such a treasure finder is MR BK.....
-
I enjoyed our break from the rain today. It was a beautiful day for a long walk along the autumn trees. The weekend boaters were enjoying the river, which in turn was lovely to see.
-
I don't know if this will work since I only transferred it from Facebook.
I was over dressed for the weather today.
Scary discovery, Ginny.
-
Am back from San Angelo. The drive was half in the dark. But it went quickly.
-
Now I’m watching Alex in Wonderland.
-
Head's up - three new perks up, including the new Harvey Schmidt stuff - check it out - I haven't announced these yet so you get the first peek.
-
108%!
-
Page three? REALLY?
-
Where in tarnation IS everyone?
-
Most unseemly.
-
Go grab them perks folks.
-
I may have to go to Houston in March. Bright Star is going to be playing there. Carmen Cusack will be in it.
Good night, all.
-
Okay, this is rather sickening. Page THREE? I'm slaving over hot notes and I return to find page THREE? This will not do, oh no, this will NOT do. Where is dear reader Jane, where is elmore, where is George and TCB and our other motley crew?
-
Took two HOURS to go through and smooth out the long liner notes from yesterday - endless typos, bad writing - but it's better now. I can't possibly do any commentary today - I did a pretty good show order so I'm ready to begin said commentary, but not until Tuesday probably.
-
Good evening!
-
WTF??
-
Page 3? Really?
-
Page 4!
-
Did half the country have a power failure?
-
Is today a national holiday?
-
We're all the computers in America (and Canada) off-line all day?
-
Was it a problem with stormy weather?
-
Or perhaps sunny weather?
-
Well, not at 10:00 p.m.
-
What is going on around here??
Thank you, FJL.
The tree's limb, not yours.
Page 4? Still?
-
I went to a play today.
-
My friend, Sharry, was wonderful.
-
It is a shame she didn't have more to do.
-
The show was not terribly well written.
-
One more post.
-
Page 5
-
And look!!
-
I am still the only one here.
-
The Seahawks beat the NY Giants today.
-
Maybe everybody went to the game today.
-
And they are now stuck in New Jersey.
Okay, this is rather sickening. Page THREE? I'm slaving over hot notes and I return to find page THREE? This will not do, oh no, this will NOT do. Where is dear reader Jane, where is elmore, where is George and TCB and our other motley crew?
I was watching episode 3 of The Crown.
-
I loved living in New Jersey.
-
Then we watched a very enjoyable episode of Father Brown.
-
And I lived about ten miles away from the Meadowlands.
-
Then we watched a couple of episodes of The Restless Gun starry John Payne.
-
I love The Restless Gun and wish it had been on for more than 2 seasons.
-
I responded dedicated to an email from my brother and now I am here.
-
Has George been here at all today?
-
Welcome, Jane!
-
Is Jane out of town all of a sudden?
Not going anywhere until December.
-
My friend, Sharry, was wonderful.
Of course she was. One of these days I hope to confirm this in person.
-
I loved living in New Jersey.
Craig was born there but he doesn't remember it. We moved when he was two.
-
DR TCB how is your sister today?
-
She is still in a lot of pain, but they are kicking her out of the hospital tomorrow.
-
I worry about my sister being able to take care of herself.
-
I doubt my brother-in-law will be much help to her.
-
Maybe he will surprise you. I hope so. I know how difficult it is to do anything with only one arm/hand.
I am glad she is well enough to leave the hospital.
-
DR George, I did not realize Larry was in the hospital when you took Neve. Three weeks is a long time, sending healthy vibes his way.
Thanks, Jane! I was told that Larry came home today, so hopefully, he's doing much better. I'll find out more tomorrow, I'm sure.
Agreed!
My niece had been volunteering at a no-kill shelter several years ago, and I think she said that this one particular cat had been there for a couple of years and no one had adopted him. My niece finally talked my parents into adopting him and now they treat Henry (my niece named him after Henry Fonda) better they even treat my niece! :D
I was at my sister's most of the afternoon, then I went to a place called Dickey's for lunch. I didn't care for it.
-
When I got home, I started to do some laundry. I needed to wash all my bedding and blankets.
-
While that was happening, I organized some more boxes and moved some things off my stairs that I shouldn't have put there in the first place, but I did...and they'd been for a few years. ::)
;)
-
And now, I'm copying the first of three She Loves Me DVDs. I'll only get this one done tonight, but I'll mail them all at at the same time.
-
George, did you see OLT's ALL THE KING'S WOMEN?
No. I wanted to, but there were three, count 'em, THREE shows whose last performances were today, and I had to help my sister move furniture. She needed to get some things done so that she would have time to help Larry get home and settled after being in the hospital for so long. I didn't make the time to go to any of them. Oh, well. There will always be another show to see....eventually. ::)
I usually like her. The reviews weren't great on this. We still might watch it eventually.
George, I think it is wise that you missed it.
Oh. That's too bad. I know Silent Sky got practically love letters from everyone who saw it, and I think quite a few people were expecting OLT's whole season to be that special. :-\
