Well, you've read the notes, the notes said go-go, and now it is time for you to post until the go-go cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PELF!
-
That's what I'M talkin' about - PELF, baby, PELF. Make it happen.
-
First post after BK!
-
Your leading man's first name is Mar?
-
Marc.
-
You should have offered the cop a copy THE FIRST NUDIE MUSICAL.
-
Marc.
Oh. Sorry.

Nice article.

Great article, BK! I love the way the author describes BK: "Entrepreneur, author, songwriter, screenwriter, producer/director, and CEO of Kritzerland Records and Entertainment Bruce Kimmel will direct."

Bed time. Good night, George.

Bed time. Good night, George.
Good night, Tom. Sleep for me, too.
-
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning to all
-
Why am I up so early?
-
TOD: If Pizza and burgers qualify as finger foods, then pizza and burgers.
For many fried chicken is a finger food, I guess, too!
-
More quick-healing vibes for TCB's sister!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I do hope this knee injection helps today. There was no amount of drugs large enough to kill last night's pains.
-
DR TCB, I'm happy to hear your duster has been released from hospital.
-
DR Laura, Sir Rivington is with Social Tees Animal Rescue:
http://www.socialteesnyc.org
-
I have to plan my itinerary to the East Side this morning. This is a doctor new to me, and I'd like to be there early to fill out all forms and deal with insurance.
-
After I return, I need to tidy the apartment and accomplish a few things.
-
I'm still on yesterday's topic. I like painters and their work from the Breughels and the Hundred Years War through contemporary art. I'm particularly fond of Holbein, Raphael, Longhi, Vermeer, Chardin, Reynolds, and John Singer Sargent.
I really love "Umbrellas in the Rain" by Maurice Prendergast, which hangs in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
-
A Breughel and a Longhi. I particularly like painters of the past with an eye for social detail.
-
Vermeer, Chardin and Reynolds,
-
My guilty pleasure is Fragonard, whose rather naughty paintings appear to be made with a pastry tube.
-
Page 2 Dance!
-
Good morning.
-
Vixmom, that looks like the painting. The guy is poking him with a stick -- "turning him like a hash brown," as DR Sandra said.
-
My guilty pleasure is Fragonard, whose rather naughty paintings appear to be made with a pastry tube.
Love his stuff. And Hogarth for the ugly side of naughty.

Good morning, all.

DR elmore, VIBES THE SHOT IN THE KNEE WORKS!

I like "Umbrellas in the Rain"
-
Bruce, maybe you did not get a ticket cuz the guy knew he was being a bit rude.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Bruce, maybe you did not get a ticket cuz the guy knew he was being a bit rude.
Whatever the reason, that was a VERY lucky break. As I read it, it sounded like you'd already won the ticket lottery. Very lucky indeed.
-
I'm very careful to avoid such things these days. Have been for quite a while, though, having paid my dues to the insurance companies a couple of decades ago. (I got three tickets my last year in L.A., all of them completely stupid on my part, and boy did I pay.)
But --- stopped for doing 65 on the freeway? That would be beyond the pale here in my small town where the interstate has a posted speed limit of 50 through town, but the actual average speed has to be 65 and well above. I do see someone pulled over now and then, but by and large, they don't bust cojones for a little bit of extra speed just for the fun of it. BK's cop was clearly having too much fun.
-
TCB, I hope your duster is back in shape. There's probably some furniture and knickknacks that could use some.
And your sister, too. VIBES she feels better soon!
-
I'm up, I'm up - why? Four hours of sleep, and a bit congested and I think during sleep I swallowed the wrong way or something. I'll try going back to bed in a bit.
-
Part is allergies - yes, in October because yesterday, for example, was 102 degrees here. But there's no such thing as climate change and that's perfectly normal for mid-October.
-
I just approved the audio edition of my one-person play, (Carole) LOMBARD. If all goes well, it should be available for download in 10-14 days.
Stay tuned....
-
Congrats, hope all goes well.
-
Well, I like my new doctor, but there was no injection. He made a thorough examination and I will see him in two weeks after I have new X-rays of hip and knee and an MRI of lower back.
-
Annabelle is reacting to my 3-hour absence as if I were never coming back. She's scolded me, wanted to be held, and now that I've put out more bread to attract more birds, she's racing through the apartment, running in and out of closets, then to the window, like a little dervish.
-
I think I also like your new doctor since he is checking you out thoroughly first.
-
Tuesday afternoon greetings! Yesterday was full of homeowner stress (the downed tree), techno-stress (my phone, which was replaced with an iPhone SE), and some logistical stress involving Rob, a U-haul truck, and the cleaning out of the Lima church, which has been sold to a congregation in another denomination. None of it was bad, but it was the kind of day that ended with pizza for dinner in both the downstairs and upstairs households.
-
I think I also like your new doctor since he is checking you out thoroughly first.
Likewise - always good to get baseline info before proceeding with treatment. Did he offer you any pain relief for the interim?
-

No.
-
Annabelle has calmed down and she's sleeping in the window, waiting for the birds.
-
Today I'm in love with two different pretties named Alice, one is 3 months old and one is 6 months old.
Until I hear about Sir Rivington, I'm window wishing with Annabelle.
-
I'd say I'm partial to Miss Alice 3-Months.
-
Something nice in my mailbox just now!
-
I'm up again. Two more hours of sleep, so six hours, sort of, maybe.
-
I'd say I'm partial to Miss Alice 3-Months.
Me, too. 6-month Alice looks mighty close to Annabelle.
-
Page 3!
-
Tuesday! Cool and rainy!
-
Feeling a bit under the weather today....I guess I should take a pill.
-
I look forward to seeing MR BK's episode of COPS.
-
I think Annabelle keeps climbing on me because she's afraid I'll leave her again. She's behaving very needy at the moment.
-
The Animal Project is having an cat-kitten adoption event on Saturday at the Petco 10 blocks north from me and another on Sunday in Fort Washington on 187th Street. I think I'll go on Saturday at see what's up for adoption.
-
These kittens are cute.
-
Almost any food can be a finger food, even ice cream ;)

French fries
tea sized cucumber sandwiches
crostini and hummus
deviled egg halves

Not a fan of hummus, but I have enjoyed the other three that you've mentioned, Jane! It's been a while since I've had tea sized cucumber sandwiches, and I only did once or twice, but they were delightfully delicious...and even deliciously delightful! ;)
-
Well, there are plenty of good tasting toppings for crostini ;)
-
My friend Mike Phillips, who's on those feral cat videos, has cats for adoption from his organization. 2-month old Tom is mighty appealing! And I'm happy to see there are options to Sir Rivington; I'm preparing myself yo be turned down.
-
Oh, decisions, decisions!
-
;D
-
My MRI and X-rays are now scheduled for next Tuesday afternoon.

Robert Guillaume has died. Loved his Purlie.

Robert Guillaume has died. Loved his Purlie.
Oh, no! I loved him in Soap and Benson. :( AND he was the first African American to play the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera (http://castalbums.org/recordings/The-Phantom-Of-The-Opera-1996-US-National-Tour/5389). It was a national tour, but still.
-
He was also great in Sports Night (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0165961/reference). I really liked that show, too.
-
Robert Guillaume has died. Loved his Purlie.
I had dinner with him and a mutual friend in San Diego around 1990. He was a very nice gentleman.
-
But wow...he was almost 90 years old!
-
Page three? Really?
-
Good afternoon.
-
The Monarch Scientist and I taught a butterfly class to 60 homeschooled children today -- most of them under the age of 8.
-
And I'm pooped.
-
Well, I'm banned from Facebook for three days for having the nerve to post my honest opinion of the Orange Baboon squatting in the Oval Office.
-
Wear it proudly, like a badge of honor!
-
One guy (a film score collector) wrote an Amazon review for The Crucible. And we went from being listed last to being listed second. One or two reviews from the likes of you will take us to the top, search-wise.

Wear it proudly, like a badge of honor!
Thanks. I do!

I need to take an afternoon with the score to listen to it. I'll do it this weekend.

I'm so pissed that I never got that score, seeing as how the few I can find out there are priced like they're printed on the woven flaxen hair of Summerisle virgins.
-
But I will listen. Oh yes, I shall listen. Tomorrow evening should be a good time for it.
-
115%!

That's great! :D

115%!
Fantastic!

Well, here's a plateau to celebrate!

And since we're so close...

Gratuitous Post #100!

Well, here's a plateau to celebrate!
I'm envious of that one.

Pardon me if anyone's already asked this, but...
BK: If we spring for the CD perk, can it be applied to ongoing releases like before?
-
Hello, everyone.
-
It was 102 here a little while ago and 87 in the apartment. That's with both AC and portable fan on HIGH. Ugh. I don't do well in hot weather, and I can't even imagine living in such heat for months on end. I can only assume that those of you in hot climates have MUCH BETTER AC than I have.
-
Continued vibes to TCB's
duster sister.
-
Larry, I'm glad you like your new doctor. I hope he'll be able to help you.
-
Coping vibes to DR Ginny.
-
Well, I'm banned from Facebook for three days for having the nerve to post my honest opinion of the Orange Baboon squatting in the Oval Office.
Unless you threatened his life I can't imagine what you said that was worse than half the comments on facebook, at least those that I see.
-
There have been several days here over the past few weeks when my apartment smelled just a tad smoky. I think it was from the fires in Northern California. And, although the vineyards weren't burned, I've read that the wines may not be good. One restaurant I know of has suspended buying avocados indefinitely.
-
Jane, how are you doing?
-
Well, here's a plateau to celebrate!
;D And of course I never noticed.
-
Feeling a bit under the weather today....I guess I should take a pill.
Feel-better vibes to Jrand.
-
DR Jeanne I feel for you in the record breaking heat.
-
I like Alice--3 months very much.
-
If I had to choose just one painter I'd have to pick Turner. I marvel at his work.
-
Jane, how are you doing?
Thanks for asking. I have better days, then apparently move wrong, and not good days. At least the not good days, like today, are not as bad as it was when I saw the doctor.
-
DR Jeanne I feel for you in the record breaking heat.

This laptop is getting too hot.
TTFN.
-
The Arizona heat is better than having snow. But I'm ready for cooler weather.

I posted that this man who got into the White House and threw Russian flags and called him a traitor shoulda shot him.
-
And I still believe that, damn you, Facebook!
-
So, Richard admired the bundle I got at the Verizon store yesterday and decided he wanted the same thing. So now we BOTH have new iPhone SEs, new iPads, car chargers, and cases for the new devices. And they say my monthly rate won't go up very much. We'll see - I think it's all smoke and mirrors.
Anyway, we made 2 trips to Verizon today with grocery shopping in between and watching the tree crew clean up our backyard and Jane's. They'll be back later to remove 2 of the 3 remaining trees in our backyard. The only one that will be left is the one the previous owner's daughter planted for Arbor Day when she was in 5th grade. She's now in her 40s with a daughter of her own.
-
DR Jeanne I feel for you in the record breaking heat.
At least I have AC.
I remember being pregnant and living in Reseda with no A/C. I thought that was bad until I went through my first New Jersey summer pregnant and without A/C ;D
-

I guessed correctly ;D
Wouldn't you have felt bad for the guy spending the rest of his life in prison or worse?
-
Thank you DR Kevin.
-
DR Ginny I like that the tree planted for Arbor Day will survive.
-
Pardon me if anyone's already asked this, but...
BK: If we spring for the CD perk, can it be applied to ongoing releases like before?
I assumed that because I went for the 10-CD perk, too. :)

I don't think that it's necessarily what he said, but probably that someone just decided to turn him in and FB may not investigate first, just ban and then look at things. ::)

Possibly, or it was done accidentally. I know if I hide a post the option to "report" comes up and I have to be careful not to click on it. I usually do that with photos. If I simply don't like what the person said I can easily keep scrolling :)

117%!

While So. California is breaking heat records, we have had another glorious day. It was sunny and 68, a perfect autumn day. I am enjoying it while it lasts.
-
Well, I'm off. Back to the second night of auditions. We'll see how this goes.
Be back later.
-
DR Laura, Annabelle and I played with Da Bird and the fishie on a pole. I've got her so wound up now that she's tearing all around the room. She's pissed as well because I have closed the closet door to keep her from scratching her claws on my luggage. She still does it, along with her scratching post, her cat house and my mattress.
-
Sounds like it might be time to enter into negotiations with Her Highness re sitting for an occasional clipping...
-
The speed limit on the Long Island Distressway is 55
-
So everyone goes 70
-
Except during rush hour, or rain, or snow , or fog or someone changing a tire
-
Then we all go 2
-
I am glad that you didn't get a ticket

It’s been too long since I’ve seen that.

Our church has rented out a movie theatre for tomorrow night to show a movie about Martin Luther
-
Lovely evening pouring wine for an outdoor fundraiser tonight.
-
October 31st marks the 500th anniversary of the day old Martin started a ruckus by nailing a few suggestions for improvement (well95 to be precise) on the church door
-
Our church has rented out a movie theatre for tomorrow night to show a movie about Martin Luther
My parents’ church did that.
-
I've never seen Wickerman. But I do love that phraseology , I thought Chas made it up
-
We're having a special coffeehour this Sunday , I ordered a sheet cake today
-
I must say that the last week has been not so hot for me.....I think the chemo is finally catching up with me.....of course you can't put 12,000+ mg worth of STUFF inside of you killing good cells AND bad cells and NOT have it do something....
Fatigue and lethargy, etc....not much energy or motivation to do this or that....or that or this.
The good news of course is that NEXT week is the END of this regimen...well at least for 30 days until they conduct their tests.
I am trying to get my energy back for the wedding on Saturday....not complaining....the HHW vibes are working and the side effects are NOT nearly as bad as they could be.....
Just days that are not so good.....
-
Continuing strong vibes for you, DR Jrand67!
-
Mega vibes for JRand, body and soul.
-
While the Crucible didn't land on my doorstep today, the new set of Holiday Inn along with a separate CD of the Broadway show did appear.
-
Now, when will I have time to watch it?
-
Good night, all.
-
DR Jrand, sending good vibes you find the energy you need for Saturday.
-
Back from a good rehearsal and putting gas in the motor car. I'm gonna say this: Stage managers need to learn to stop asking for conflicts because once you open that door everyone walks right through. I just put my foot down and told the department chair that if students think they're just going to miss rehearsals (one wants to miss our invited dress) then I replace instantly, no discussion.
-
I didn't get nearly as far as I wanted today because I wanted to change a bunch of stuff in the opening number sequence and they also taped out the stair unit so we had to make all those adjustments. I did finish it and I did do the scene that follows - frankly, I'd like to just cut it - it's clunky but it has one hugely important plot point that we must have - so I think I'm going to shorten it to just that and get out of it. Then I did a reprise of the opening song (you hear it a LOT throughout the show) and then did the little street scene and Levi's arrival to his relatives house. Tomorrow I intend flying through the next scenes, most of which are not that difficult.
-
Good evening
-
Page six? Really?
-
i guess I am trying to keep up with my
duster sister. Last night I took a fall landing against the China hutch. No broken glass and no broken bones.
-
I did screw up my back, so I am trying to lay low.
-
I still met my friends, Tracy and Martin, for lunch.
-
I called my sister, but she didn't feel up to a visit.
-
So, I came home and stayed in my recliner until time for bed.

I want to know how George's audition went tonight.
You're about to find out!
-
Well, I'm off. Back to the second night of auditions. We'll see how this goes.
Be back later.
Well, the second night of auditions went well.
-
There were more people tonight, and some really good actors and actresses.
-
Much better than me.
-
I don't think I have a chance now, and I don't really mind. It'll be a great show.
-
I did tell the director that if I'm not cast, I would be available to run the sound board. ;)
-
That'll be fun.
-
Continued vibes for your sister.
Thank you, Jane, and for the vibes for my back.
-
Vibes that George gets cast, or runs sound.

I would have held off offering to run sound until I found out if I was cast.

Continuing strong vibes for you, DR Jrand67!

I think I need to rest my back. Good night.
Good night, Tom.
