It's time to put on the holiday music! Wishing I were back in Dublin, it's an Irish morning.
Vibes to DR JOHN G for the competition this morning.
Tomorrow we begin our 3 day journey to Africa.

TOD:
This is terrible....but I did NOT set one foot into a theatre this entire year....it is disgraceful....I hope to remedy that in 2018.
TOD - The New Yorkers, of course! In addition to the sublime production, that experience included the festive brunch beforehand, the scintillating talk-back afterwards, and being in the company of friends throughout the afternoon.
In fact, a lot of my good theatre memories from the past year are of productions that ranged from great to adequate, but that were complemented by the company and circumstances. Hamilton in Chicago, for me, lived up to and exceeded the hype, and it was fun to share the experience during ALA with a lot of librarian friends and to hear Ron Chernow speak the day after we saw the show. Last night's Children of Eden and the Vanities I saw with Rebecca earlier this fall were more toward the adequate end of the scale, but were fun because she and I started our friendship 40+ years ago going to theatre together.

Dublin in December is beautiful.

Wave when you fly over Ohio - and have a wonderful trip!
Has anyone watched the PBS mystery Hinterland, set in Wales?
Has anyone seen "The Bodyguard"? The tour is in town.

I enjoyed the photos last night, DR George thanks for posting not only your fan but DR Kevin & Bruce together.

The disc is mediocre. All Whitney Houston songs sung slower than usual with lousy arrangements.
I didn't know THE FOUNTAINHEAD was on Broadway.....I can't imagine the estate letting that happen.....strange....I shall have to look it up....
Funny DR FJL.
Mega travel vibes for Jane and Keith. It's a mega trip.
Thanks DR JANE....and Safe and Fun Travel Vibes for YOU.
My email name is Jaynrand - but NO ONE ever connects it to the author.....most people think my name is Jayne.

Thanks, DR George, for posting the photo. (In case you didn't see what I wrote on yesterday's page)!

There was this Parody (by me and sung by my neighbor Sheree) when it looked like Heather Headley was going to bring THE BODYGUARD to Broadway:
"I Wanna Dance With Somebody" The Bodyguard parody

(Well, anyway, I moved it to "unlisted" when the premise became overridden because I think Heather Headley must have decided not to do it in the U.S.)
The judges did, too.
Tomorrow we begin our 3 day journey to Africa.
~~~Super Travel Vibes for Jane and Keith!!~~~
One partner and I won best amateur couple for country-western. Another partner and I won for specialty dances (like hustle and salsa). My teacher and I won both of our championships today.
Danced well, I thought.
I wonder when BK is going to lock yesterday's posts?
;)
T.O.D.
I know the idea was the theater experience we saw this year, but for me the best experience was performing SECOND SAMUEL. In particular, our performance in Boise at the Regionals. It was nearly perfect for all of us. I miss the character and the cast and crew.
Tom, the topic is "What have been your favorite theater experiences of 2017?" BK didn't specify "seeing," so yours definitely counts!
;D
I have been deleted!
Okay, as long as it’s nothing personal.
Thank you, again.
Continued travel vibes to Jane and Keith. Wave as you drive thru Tacoma.
Thank you. I will wave as we fly over. We got a price that was too good to pass up using credit we were given thanks to our screwy flights home from Texas last year.
I turned down a free cruise this month.
I hope the last performance of LEVI went well!
Can't believe this is my first post of the day, but it's been that kind of day. Had to get up and get ready for our early stumble-through, which went very well. I excused Marc Ginsburg from the stumble-through because I realized he really could not do it AND a two-show day. But we had fun, everyone sounded great, and the pianist almost got through everything fine. Then I had to go right to LACC - we played our matinee - about 210 people for that one, and then I went and had a bite at the House of Pies, then came back and we played a sold out evening show - 250 people (I didn't want to sell the other twenty seats because of the video cameras and stuff. Both shows went well - not as good as the Friday night show, which was really great, but very good and the audiences really enjoyed it.
