Well, you've read the notes, the notes had changes, and now it is time for you to post until the changed cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: MNEMONIC!
-
Hello.
-
Hi, Jane.
-
Well, the battery in my tablet is almost dead, so I need to go now.
Good night and have a good day, all!
-
I forgot, my Levi cd was waiting for me at the office when I got back from vacation and I put it n my desk drawer and there it has stayed, I must bring it home and listen to it tonight (I can't listen to it at work)
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning to all

Last night I saw Liz Callaway perform with a full symphony orchestra for the first time. Usually, it's just a piano.
It sounded as if some of the songs she performed used the original spectacular orchestrations by DR Elmoore (Larry Moore) and arrangements by Alex Rybeck. What a joy to hear them live.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I was up too late reading Dewey The Library Cat, which is absolutely charming, and when the babies began begging for food, I wanted to stay in bed.
-
They won, of course, so I will be napping with them around 2:00, when they pile up in my bed. I'm not going back to bed, and I have to finish my tax receipts today.
-
T.O.D.
We have a bunch of shows recorded that we've yet to watch: CHICAGO P.D., the VERSACE KILLING mini-series, a couple of old movies, etc.
-
The kitties' dishes are washed, litter cleaned, and bed made/ I'm ready to get back to my taxes.
-
Interesting writing about writing in the notes. Extensive notes remind of us things we forget....extensive notes must always be taken and saved.
-
Shocking and horrible story about those people who lost their apartments.....where does one start?
-
I'm up, I'm up - five hours of sleep.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Jrand, Nathan Chen is not performing the long program in the team event. Adam Rippon will be skating it.
-
TOD
CD - The Addams Family. Time to learn this thing.
BLU - The Cat O’ Nine Tails. No relation to any DCs.
-
LP - I did get out my Milhaud/Poulenc/Stravinsky. Might get to listen to these today.
-
Great Friday and weekend vibes to all!
-
After saying hello I fell asleep 😊
-
I wish I just woke up but 6 hours of sleep is good for me.
-
Friday morning greetings! No plans for today, so I may tear apart my craft corner and replace the rickety metal bookcase I've been using for almost 50 years with a sturdier one from my bedside. I can replace that one with the bookcase that was displaced to make room for my crafty card catalog.
-
They have shut off the water today for some kind of repairs. It won't come back on until 4:30 p.m.
-
I hope they gave you advanced notice.
-
Have a good day DR Ginny.
-
We received an email from a friend with plans to visit this month. Tuesday her 26 year old son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Today they will do the last of the tests needed to complete his diagnosis and then begin chemo. I have never know anyone to begin chemo withing 3 days of a diagnosis. This cancer progresses quickly.
I pray the chemo works.
-
Page one? Really?
-
Back from the meeting, which was fine.
-
I hope they gave you advanced notice.
They did this time. Not last week.
-
Healing vibes to DR Jane's friends son.
-
Good afternoon, all.
-
Another too-busy day.
-
And I want a nap.
-
And I want a nap.
The kitties and I crashed around noon.
-

I happened to see Nathan Chen's short program last night. ::)

"Cat O’ Nine Tails" was a line in Communicating Doors. Julian finds that and other...toys...in Poopay's purse. 8)
;D

Yikes! That's a long time without access to water!
-

::) I am guess they were flooded with complaints last week.
-
Thank you DR TCB.

True, but not too bad if you can stock up on it first.

The kitties and I crashed around noon.
I'm jealous.
-
Good afternoon.
-
Page two? Really?
-
I just wasted thirty good minutes with a troll on Facebook but I had fun revealing him for what he was.
-
Having a somewhat relaxing day, I suppose.
-
Vibes for the friend of DR JANE and her son!
-
Enjoy the show vibes for MR BK.
-
I want the last half hour of the work day to go quickly
-
I am sitting here like so much fish.
-
Instead of tearing up my craft corner, I actually did something productive there today. Made a card for Mary Linda, whose birthday is Sunday.
-

Good! ;)
-
Thank you DR George & DR Jrand.
-
DR Jane, I’m so sorry to hear about your friend’s son. Will she still be able to visit you?
-
Page TWO? Really?

Thank you. I haven't taken her off the calendar but I doubt it. She has a grand baby in Portland and was coming to see the baby. We, unfortunately, missed her on her last visit. I am wondering if her son here will be going home to see his brother. I suppose it depends on the final diagnosis.
-
Page TWO? Really?
Well, since we're so close...
-
IT'S PAGE THREE!!
-
:D

Sounds great! I love Liz.
-
Had to spend an unexpected hour blowing a wholly unexpected layer of new snow off the driveway.
-
Sorry to hear about your friend's son, DR Jane.
-
John Gavin has died.
-
DR Jane, I’m so sorry to hear about your friend’s son. Will she still be able to visit you?
Ditto!
-
John Gavin has died.
I saw that. I always liked him.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
I went to acupuncture today, then picked up my new prescription sunglasses. There's something a little off with the prescription. I agreed to try them for a week, then bring them back if my eyes don't compensate. They're guaranteed, but I get so tired of having to complain about things. My old Rx was a difficult one to get right, but this one isn't. These were covered by insurance, so I got a good price, but don't know if it's a quality lab.

That must have been a treat.

TOD:
More QUEER EYE
There's just so much bad news these days and QUEER EYE makes positives changes --doable changes--to these people's lives.
-
John Gavin has died.
:( He was perfect in Thoroughly Modern Millie.
-
Jane, my mouth is doing fine. But this was just part 1; it's part 2 and 3, when he gets down deep into the canals that's the tricky part. I'll be sooo glad when this is over!
-
TTFN.
-
Thanks DR Kevin, DR elmore, and DR Jeanne.

No wonder you purchase a pie for an after dental work treat.
Super vibes for part 3 and 3!
-
but I get so tired of having to complain about things.
I know what you mean.

Yes he was.

Second Freshly meal o' the day. One was 400 calories, this one's 380.
-
We are going to o watch NOWHERE IN AFRICA.
-
Page three? Really?
-
REALLY?
-
I'm going to go home...but to Costco first.
Until later.
-
Darn, it is not free. We will save it for another day.
-
We are now watching Revolutionary Road.
-
We are going to o watch NOWHERE IN AFRICA.
I loooooove this movie.
-
I am finally home.
-
Four!
-
Page four? Really?
-
I’ve had a headache most of the day.
-
Dad is being released tomorrow to go from the hospital to a nursing home. My sister and her husband are transporting him. My mother is being her passive-aggressive self and is refusing to go near. That might be better for all concerned.

Maybe Netfix has it.
-
Watching La Grande Illusion. It’s been decades. I was too young at the time.
-
Muse Margaret has seen the covers and her love for one of them was so instantaneous - and funnily it's the only one I found interesting of all that were sent. Others were okay but there was something very mysterious and appealing about this one, even though Grant didn't care for any of the attempts. But Margaret knows the book and I totally get why she got goose bumps when she saw this cover. It's completely enigmatic but I sure would pick it up if I saw it for that very reason - that and the title, which is just not a title you see. And again, the signs on this book have been so weird and crazy - from the license plate I saw with the book title (that just happened to cut in front of me) to a post here a few days ago that inadvertently had the title of the book in it. I believe all of that means something.

Sorry.

Thank you.

Gratuitous post No. 101!
-
There's a scene in la Grande Illusion where the prisoners of war break out into la Marseillaise in front of their German captors. It carried the same power as the Marseillaise scene in Casablanca, which was made years later. Both are just brilliant.
-
Some of the hotter movie titles seem to be headed for video. I just placed reservations at the library for Coco, Three Billboards and Darkest Hour.
-
Okay, we have entered nauseating territory here. Where in tarnation IS everyone? George is gone all the time for a play, then the play is over and he's still gone. Others aren't posting at all. There is a very large bitch-slapping coming, I can tell you THAT.
-
Good evening.
-
I am listening to MAMMA MIA.
-
Since I am going to see the show next Sunday.
-
This is a 5th Avenue Theater production, not a tour.
-
I watched the Opening Ceremonies tonight.
-
I wasn’t overly impressed.
-
Except for the delegation from Tonga - again.
-
Tomorrow night is the second half of the short program in team figure skating.
-
The Olympics just snuck up on me this year.
-
I mean they were advertising them, but it was just suddenly time for them.
-
Perhaps I am just getting senile.
-
I am having lunch with my friend, Tracy, tomorrow.
-
If I am feeling up to it.
-
I am just not feeling right tonight.
-
One more post.

Sounds even more intriguing.

Vibes for John’s father.

And vibes for John and his mother. I know this is a tough time for all of them.

I've been home, doing things that needed to get done that I hadn't done, and now they're done!
-
Since I am going to see the show next Sunday.
That's great, Tom! I thought you said that wheelchair spots weren't available.

Yes, DIE FLEDERMAUS does seem like an unusual title for a license plate.
-
I watched the Opening Ceremonies tonight.
I recorded them but won't have time to watch them until at least Sunday. :P

You got that right!
;)

That's great, Tom! I thought you said that wheelchair spots weren't available.
It seems that in this technical time we are living, the 5th Avenue still doesn’t know how to sell ADA seats online. You have to call the box office to access those seats.

Very strange.
