Well, you've read the notes, the notes got better, and now it is time for you to post until the better cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: TELEGENIC!
-
I was very telegenic in my day.
-
I was very telegenic in my day.
Of this there can be no doubt!
-
It is raining here. George, feel like writing an Amazon review :)
-
Don't worry, I will, but I was a little distracted last night. I had to do some shopping and go to my sister's for a while.
-
Also, someone on the CastRecL e-mail newsgroup posted that "Barnes and Noble is now selling the [Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet: The Journey of a New Musical to Broadway (https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/natasha-pierre-the-great-comet-steven-suskin/1125271657?ean=9781454923282#/)] $40 coffee table book in its stores as a $2 clearance item." Well, I went to my local B&N last night and got it for only $2.18! It was one of five copies on a table where everything was $2.00 (plus tax…hence the 18¢), and I bought the only still-sealed copy! :D
-
Happy you will - I always think it's best if it's while the book is still fresh - I write all my Amazon reviews directly after reading, viewing, or listening. Looking forward to it.
-
Good morning, all!
-
Last night Thatch had a nightmare. I'm assuming that's what it was since it's the first time I've heard him making noises while he slept. Today after several days of being affectionate and loving, he's skittish and afraid of me. He only calms down when I'm bringing him food. His first two months must have been hellish in a feral colony, and the first two months of his life here was no picnic.
-
Annabelle's nose is bad this morning. She can't smell, so she won't eat. Oy!
-
I will leave here around 8:15 for Radio City and my barber Joe. On my way back, I will stop at the pharmacy to pick up that other prescription. Then, back to my work table.
-
Good morning, all.
-
A real quick hello and I must be out of here to play a morning show,
Morning shows should be outlawed, don’t you think? I think, and I believe it.
-
Vibes to kitties, and to all. Back later!
-
VIBES to Annabelle and Thatch.
-
Good morning to all.
-
Morning Michael.
-
A foot cramp woke me at 4:00 and the fact I am still feeling stuffed from the late dinner is keeping me awake.
-
We have today on our own and the family again tomorrow. Our plan is to walk far and eat light.
-
Good morning, all.
-
It’s too early. Still not used to daylight saving time.
-
Taking my dog, Chester, to the groomer today.
Not looking forward to it.

I agree with DR JOHNG - theatre is NOT a daytime activity.
-
I was 13 when I first saw TOM JONES - at a drive in - we thought we were seeing something racy for sure.....but yes we could hear lots of people in lots of cars laughing and laughing....as did we.....
That's when I decided I wanted a narrator to follow me around and comment on my life.....

I am home. Thanks to lousy bus service and lousier traffic, my two errands after the barber took me forever. Everything is accomplished, and I need t get to work. I lose all of tomorrow because of the orchestra rehearsal and sitzprobe for Grand Hotel.
-
Vixmom, I saw a story on USAToday about how a couple let their dog be their wedding photographer.
-

Sorry about your hassles, Elmore. But I’m really jealous about your getting to see Grand Jotel. I love that score.
-
Two!
-
I'm up, I'm up - six hours of sleep.
-
I am a big fan of Albert Finney, and TWO FOR THE ROAD.
-
I also like Susannah York very much.
-
Gotta run though since I actually fell back to sleep and it is now late.
-
Just took Chester to the groomer.
He was protesting all the way.
-
Greetings from San Francisco airport. The plane landed 10 minutes early. The pilot announced that the gate was occupied and we’d have to wait 10 minutes. It’s now over 30 minutes and we’re just pulling up to the gate.
-
When I was booking my flight I chose the 12:36 connection instead of the 11:36 one, thinking it was too close. I’m glad I did !
-
Greetings, from back home!
What a day. What a morning. What a week!
-
But I now have a lovely evening off, then we’re back at it tomorrow evening and through the weekend.
-
This forest show is a tough one for the synthesizer-ator. You could read War and Peace through the tacets.
-
Damn it all, I believe it might be time for a nap. Especially taking into consideration the four and a half hours (give or take) of sleep I got last night. Oh my, yes.
-
Thatch, Annabelle, and I had a 2-hour lie down. It was very nice. Thatch today jumped up on the file cabinets and climbed to the top of the bookcases. I am very proud of him. The fact that both cats are now climbing to the tops of shelves makes me very aware that I might come home and find piles of books and everything on the floor.
-
It will look like something out of The Trial.
-
Or like something in my house. Without an indoor cat.
-
Topic of the Day:
Albert Finney:
Erin Brockovich
Scrooge
Susannah York:
Superman
I just realized that these are the only movies of theirs that I've seen. ::)
-
Vixmom, I saw a story on USAToday about how a couple let their dog be their wedding photographer.
:o How did the pictures turn out?
-
While looking up Albert Finney's movies on his Internet Movie Database listing, I came across this: Aspects of Love (2005) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0287927/reference)! It also stars Sarah Brightman and Kritzerland performer Jean Louisa Kelly. Does anyone know anything about this??

They didn’t sue the dog. Actually, I don’t know. I only read the headline.

Fascinating. Never heard of it.

Are you happy with the results DR DRUXY?
-
I'm happy with the results - what results I have no idea, but I'm happy with some results somewhere.
-
A real up and down day here in the Oaks of Sherman, but we'll let the up outweigh the down and to that end I have some donuts here.
-
Page two? Really?
-
Where in tarnation IS everyone?
-
I know George is off writing an Amazon review, but where is everyone else? :)
-
We need some damn action around here. We need some ha cha cha.
-
Made it to Hollywood. It's been a long day.
-
Travel vibes for KevinH.
-
Three!
-
Thanks, JohnG!

Are your bookcases secured to the wall?

It's up to you to do the ha cha cha.
That's from something, right?
-
We had a stationary store her in town for over 50 years called Ha Cha
-
Then Hannah and Charlie decided to retire
-
So, contrary to,popular opinion there is now verification that I do indeed possess a heart
-
Ethan Allen commercial just played ...did I really just hear ."putting it together" as a furniture store jingle?
-
Jane I made a trade of some "saved weeks" and have a 2bedroom villa for the last week of June and first week of July 2019
-
Where in tarnation IS everyone?
In a courthouse.
-
How did your appointment go, Vixmom?
-
Page three? Really?
-
Watching some Netflix thing called Collateral with Carey Mulligan. I hate the music and the direction, but the script by David Hare is, thus far, interesting. It's four one-hour episodes. The problem is I have to watch on the computer since I can't get Netflix to load anymore from the Blu-ray player - and this is not how I enjoy watching stuff.
-
I fell off the sidewalk into the rocks after getting off the bus. Very gracefully, I'm sure. Now my hand is swollen.
-
The judge insinuated today that they will look at our social media posts. So no social media posts for me.
-
No falling down. A HHW rule.
-
Get me off this damn page.
-
Are you happy with the results DR DRUXY?
Yes, and Chester is happy to be out of there.
-
So, my 2 DVDs arrived today from Amazon.
Watched THREE BILLBOARDS IN EBBING MISSOURI; liked it very much.
Sadly the DVD of THE SHAPE OF WATER was off the spindle when it arrived and badly scratched, so I've returned it for a replacement.
Amazon says it will be 2 weeks or more before I get it.

Yes you did, Vixmom! I thought that it was pretty cool!
-
Gratuitous Post #80!
;)
-
And on that note (E-flat), it's time to leave work.
Be back later.
-
We are waiting for our show to begin. Tonight we are watching Terry Fator who is a ventriloquist. I hope I can understand/hear what he says 😁
-
So, contrary to,popular opinion there is now verification that I do indeed possess a heart
😀
-
I am so sorry about your fall Laura, I hope your hand is better in the morning
-
I took an unexpected nap, that stress test was really tiring...I guess I am more out of shape than I thought
-
How can we on,y be on 3?
-
Where's John?
-
Where's George ?
-
Where's TCB ?
-
Where'd that darn page 4?
-
Oh there it be
-
I woke up from my unexpected nap and realized that there was going to be an office of disappointed people if I didn't get up and start the corned beef
-
So now there are carrots, potatoes and a corned beef brisket sitting in the crockpot on low
-
I've sliced the cabbage to add to the pot in the morning
-
So that's done
-
I got myself to the office before 8 and was able to get a great dal done before I left at 12:27
-
I had planned to leave at 12 and have a leisurely drive to the doctor but instead I arrived just 2 minutes before my appointment
-
And I was taken in immediately
-
I like this office, both of the technicians were lovely
-
I had an echocardiogram
-
And a sonogram of my carotid arteries
-
Those were very peaceful procedures about an hour in a darkened room
-
Slow day at the office, kiddies?
-
Then the stress test
-
Page four? Really?
-
By time everything was done it was nearly four and all I had eaten all day was a cup of yogurt
-
Don't have a clew as to where TCB has got to. I assume George is writing an Amazon review before he forgets everything about the book :)
-
So I stopped by the coffee shop on the corner and had a a cup of home made creamy tomato soup with chicken and orzo and a slice of spinach quiche
-
It was very nice
-
Then I went to BJs to buy the traditional ST Pattys Day ingredients
-
And then I came home and rested
-
I did watch the last three weeks of This Is Us on demand
-
And then Vixdad came home and we shared our days
-
Had meatloaf sandwiches for dinner
-
And then I napped
-
And that was that
-
I really must get to sleep because tomorrow is going to be a very busy day
-
Not to mention our St Patty's luncheon
-
I hope TCB is ok , I knows he's been a bit under the weather lately
-
page five
-
Over
-
And
-
Out
-
Page five? Really? That calls for Mahler.
-
DR Vixmom, aside from confirming you have a heart when will you know how well it is functioning?
-
DR Laura, VIBES you did not do any major damage to your hand!
-
The show tonight was terrific and while I missed some of the dialogue I did rather well. I didn't realize how much singing was part of the act 😊
-
On the advice of friends we are going to see Donny and Marie tomorrow night.
-
On the advice of friends we are going to see Donny and Marie tomorrow night.
Go backstage and say hello from me.
-
No TCB, no George, just me and the Pretzel.
-
On the advice of friends we are going to see Donny and Marie tomorrow night.
Go backstage and say hello from me.
That would be fun but I doubt Keith would do it.
-
No TCB, no George, just me and the Pretzel.
;D
-
After all the food I have had in the last 2 days I am not shaped much like a pretzel.
-
HOWDY!
-
Sorry!
Good evening.
-
I am home from the theater.
-
Tonight was the monthly Off The Shelf series at Tacoma Little Theatre.
-
This month’s production was DEAR LIAR.
-
Tonight was the monthly Off The Shelf series at Tacoma Little Theatre.
How was it, Tom?
-
The two actors (both good friends) were wonderful, but unfortunately, I was in a lot of pain, so I didn’t enjoy it as much as I would have liked.
-
This is the same monthly series of staged readings that I did WRECKS last season.
-
Unfortunately, it was a very small crowd tonight.
-
I had a much better turn out last year for WRECKS.
-
My friend, Sharry, and I are in talks to do THE GIN GAME next season as an Off The Shelf reading.
-
I would prefer to do it for more than one performance, and I would rather not do it as a staged reading.
-
We shall see. It would be nice to be involved in some way in the 100th Season of TLT.
-
Sharry and I have been involved at TLT longer than anyone else.
-
We shall see. It would be nice to be involved in some way in the 100th Season of TLT.
That would be cool.
-
We shall see. I would like to direct a show, but that doesn’t look like it is going to happen.

On the contrary, I have always believed that you were all heart.
