Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both wacky and weird, and now it is time for you to post until the wackier and weirder cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: VANWARD!
-
First post after BK.
-
2nd post.
-
And the word of the day is: VANWARD!
And upward.
-
I didn't realize it was after midnight.

Good morning, all!
-
I am looking forward to seeing DRs vixmom and ChasSmith today after Grand Hotel.
-
Annabelle has instructed me to advise her if there are any good roles are in the show for her.
She doesn't listen. I've told her several times already that there are not.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Vixmom, I'm having nothing but aggravation trying to use this ICON app. I have the $10 discount for signing up, but everything about the transaction process seems to have a mind of its own and I have yet to book a reservation after half an hour of trying. Maybe next time.
EDIT: Okay, I just succeeded in getting it via the web site on my laptop, inputting all the same info I'd been trying before.
52nd St. between B'way and 7th, $15 using the discount, 1:00 - 6:30 pm
-
Good morning, all.
-
All the best for today’s HHW reunion and Grand Hotel viewing. Wish I could be there.
-
But I have a house to clean.
-
Work was exhausting yesterday.
-
But the concert was wonderful. Nadia Salerno-Sonnenberg both played and conducted Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and the Carmen Suite. Beautiful playing.
-
Today it’s housecleaning, training for the Final Four ushering next weekend and dinner with friends.
-
TOD:
Silence of the Lambs for both
Hopkins:
Howards End
Remains of the Day
The Lion in Winter
Magic
(One of these days, I’d like to see him in Surviving Picasso)
Foster:
Taxi Driver
Freaky Friday
Tom Sawyer
-
BK - what an odd thing that they'd even bother changing a PDF.
I'd be inclined to imagine the person who was so happy to normally help you must have been shocked at the mishandling within the company; but at least from the places I've worked, I've seen that once an employee starts hunting down "what went wrong" with other workers at their own company, they can become unpopular with the people they work with every day.

Seeing Freaky Friday and Tom Sawyer are such fun memories.

It's a bit of a wonky app and I had to input several times as well but I find that the ultimate $ savings is worth it...

A sunny day in Tacoma.
-
My first rose of the spring was in full bloom this morning. A creamy white. Just beautiful.
-
Well glad I planned to be here 90 minutes early I arrived with 2 minutes to spare. Curtain is late no doubly due to all the late patrons. The March for our lives ( I think that's what its called) really made a disaster if the traffic. And the road works du dnt help any. Took me almost 2 hours to get from 62nd and 2nd to 51st and 7th
-
A sunny day in Tacoma.
Is it still sunny there? It is raining here.
-
My first rose of the spring was in full bloom this morning. A creamy white. Just beautiful.
Lovely.
-
DR Vixmom I never thought about the March as an issue. I hope DR Chas made it in time.
-
Saturday afternoon greetings! Trying not to think too much about how I’d rather be in NYC right now, I have chili going in the crockpot and I’ve decorated our house for Easter. Rob and Mary
Linda will join us for dinner and we hope to hear more about their stay in Paris.
-
Back from breakfast and stuff. I've chosen all songs save for two for our missing male cast member - hopefully that will be solidified in the next hour.
-
Up from a nap.
-
Volunteer training was odd. But I think I can handle it.
My group will be ushering for the high rollers attending the tournament. I hope it’s no one I recognize and dislike.
-
Finally finished Tayari Jones’s An American Marriage. Didn’t like the characters.
-
HA!! Saturday......and this is what we get.

AND it's still snowing....there was nothing on the ground at 11 a.m.
-
I am home and the babies are fed, DR ChasSmith and his clan are off to Danbury, and DR vixmom is off to her one-acts on 96th Street. It's been a lovely day.
-
Hopefully Michigan will get beaten tonight and Big Mouth Baby Wagner will go home.....
-
Thanks for the HHW NYC Report DR ELMORE.
-
Wagner is the biggest special snowflake I've ever seen.

Well, we finally have our final cast member, and once I figure out his two songs then we're all set.
-

Good luck you don't recognize anyone you dislike ;D

May you be pleased with the cast and there aren't any issues.

Back home — from a wonderful afternoon at a great show with the best possible company!
It’s too bad we all had to kind of hurry off, but we did get to enjoy a very pleasant repast at the corner coffee shop.
The show was great, no two ways about it.
-
I have a hundred or more (count ‘em) photos of the talkback (I was snapping like a madman) to sort through in the morning when I’m at my regular computer. Definitely captured a few worthy ones, and the ones we took outside look fine as well.
-
My friend Pam's family posted on FB this evening that she died yesterday. I knew it would happen this week, but it still shocks and hurts.
-
Knowing doesn't take the pain away. I am sorry for your loss :(
-
Bruce I sent you an email you are going to want to see :)
No, I did not read GEE ;)
-
Bruce, and another email has been sent :)
-
Condolences to DR ELMORE and the family of his friend....
-
Good evening.
-
Hugs, Elmore. It is always hard to lose a friend.
-
Today we attended the tour of King and I.
-
TOD:
Anthony Hopkins: "The Lion in Winter", "Howard's End," "Remains of the Day" and "Silence of the Lambs".
Jodie Foster: "Alice Doesn't Live Here Any More", Silence of the Lambs", "Nell", "Contact", "Panic Room"
-
Today is nearly done (yes, very nearly completely done).
I awoke at 9:30 a.m. And I had gone to bed the night before at 10:25 p.m. Whatever possessed me to sleep for 11 hours?
I don't know, but it felt wonderful.
Today was hamburger/hot dog/fries day at the Billiard Parlor in Edgefield (aka "The Pool Room"). It was just as delicious as ever.
The afternoon was given over to multiple games of SkipBo, of which I won two, my aunt won three, and my mom won four.
The evening has been rather nondescript. (Lovely word "nondescript". I have no words to describe it, however).
I watched a re-run of a 2009 episode of "Criminal Minds" in which Alex O'Loughlin (he of the Hawaii Five-O reboot) brilliantly portrayed an OCD serial killer.
And now it's to bed, I guess. I have placed an order Warner Archives for some blu ray discs...it's that company's 4-for-$44 sale. After you select four, every eligible disc beyond four is also $11.
-
Condolences to Larry.
-
Hopefully Michigan will get beaten tonight and Big Mouth Baby Wagner will go home.....
I’m glad you didn’t get your wish, DR JRand - Go, Blue!
-
DR Elmore, condolences to you and all who love Pam...
-
Condolences and hugs, Elmore. So sorry for your loss.
-
Had an amazing dinner tonight.
-
It was a sampler in which they sent out multiple dishes.
-
We started with a strawberry and okra salad. We did not think the flavors would complement each other, but it was wonderful.
-
Next was a plate of just-fried hush puppies with smoked paprika.
-
Trumpet mushrooms appeared with chicken thighs and pecorino Romano cheese.
-
Bok choy was presented over a squash purée.
-
Tiny ravioli stuffed with herbs were presented by the chef who grated black truffles over the top. Oh, they were heaven.
-
The main course was flank steak with a chimichurri sauce and lentils.
-
Four!
-
The dessert that came with dinner was a strawberry shortcake with fresh strawberry ice cream. Nice.
-
But Jennifer, a friend visiting from Moscow, was intrigued by the cardamom donuts on the menu. So I ordered a plate. I could have eaten 15 or so of those. They may have been the best donuts I’ve ever had. Hot, light, cake donuts were heavenly from the first bite. They didn’t even need the coffee ice cream on the side.
-
Three bottles of wine. Happy now.
-
Finished Faces Places. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
-
And with that, I’m off to bed.
-
Tomorrow is going to be a long day.
-
Well, two more posts.
-
Good night, all.
-
Gratuitous post No. 100.
-

Wow.
-

OMG, I want some.
-
Three bottles of wine. Happy now.
White wine?
-
I also have a movie to recommend, A BIRD OF THE AIR. It was just what we needed tonight.
-
Page four? Really?
-
Watched some of the Silence of the Lambs extras and another episode of Wild Wild Country.
-
I gotta tell you.
-
Aside from my breakfast, all I had was a chocolate peanut butter donut thing - it was excellent.
-
I ate it all up.
-
It is no more.
-
It no longer exists.
-
It is history.
-
Finis.
-
Condolences to elmore.
-
Get me off this damn page.
-
This page is an irritant.
-
It was a lovely day
-
Well except for the driving across the city part
-
John, you would have loved the dancing
-
The one acts I went to were actually 10 short plays all written by a good friend of mune
-
Some of the were better executed gun others but it rally enjoy his writing
-
Several other friends showed up, none of us realized the others were coming
-
I ended up driving 3 of them home which was a lovely chance to discuss the stories and yo catch up with one another
-
Well it's 2:34 and I have to be in church in 5 1/2 hours so goodnight
-
Good evening.
-
I had a lovely time at dinner.
-
It had actually been 22 years since John and his wife moved away.
-
She has spent the last 15 year working in the Prop Department at The Guthrie.
-
John has been directing and occasionally acting all over the East Coast.
-
Condolences to Elmore on the loss of your friend.
-
I am glad everyone enjoyed GRAND HOTEL
-
I
had to endure got to listen to the OBC over at Sharry and Micheal’s house.
-
Jane, Sharry said it was a year and a half ago that we all gathered for breakfast at Hawk’s Prairie. I told her she was nuts!
-
I thought it was more like last summer.
-
But what do I know?
-
We all sat around and swapped nightmare theater experiences over the pumpkin pie.
-
My friend Pam's family posted on FB this evening that she died yesterday. I knew it would happen this week, but it still shocks and hurts.
My condolences, Larry. :(
-
The turkey dinner was fabulous.
-
That's great, Tom.
-
The show last night that I ushered for was wonderful!
-
Great cast and a great script.
-
I wonder if Let’s Raise A Glass Together stopped the show?
-
Margo and I went to McMenamin's The Spar after the show and the food was really good, too.
-
Not in your show, George. GRAND HOTEL.
-
I got home and went right to bed so that I could get up early.
-
I got up early and made it to Seattle without any trouble. There was almost no traffic until I got into Seattle, and went right to the hotel and parked.
-
Tom, the training was at the Hilton, and I actually parked almost exactly where we parked when we went to see Mamma Mia! :D
-
The training went really well. I learned a couple of new things, and the lunch that was provided wasn't too bad.
-
After the teaining, I met my friend David and his wife at Silver Platters. I bought two CDs. One was the soundtrack to Strictly Ballroom, and I now forget what the other CD was. It's downstairs, though.
