From last night:
George, that is cool about the parking.
George, was that a year and a half ago, when we met up with Jane and Keith and Sharry and Micheal?

Time flies when you're having fun!
What a handsome trio!

After all that food and wine last night, I was shocked to find my blood sugar reading this morning was very good.
Jane, we had a bottle of bubbles, a rose’ and a Tempranillo.
Thank you all for the condolences and sympathy. I will miss Pam enormously.
The summer of 1968, I worked the Miami University summer theatre program before I became a graduate assistant in September. One day a tall lanky blonde started working in publicity and the box office. She had just graduated from St Mary of the Woods College in Terre Haute IN, married a student in the Miami University architecture program - which was a 5-year program - and the director of theatre offered her an assistantship for the fall. I liked her enormously.
One of the past summer shows was In White America, and the scene designer Bill Rappel was one of the cast. The In White America photo in the lobby with other previous summer show photos showed every cast member but Bill, and he started bugging Pam about this. "You'll never get your degree until you hang my photo," he warned her daily.
Then, one afternoon in our first year as grad assistants, we heard a loud scream and a long laugh from the men's room. It was Bill Rappel. He had gone into a toilet stall, closed the door, and saw his cast photo taped to the inside of the door with the note: NOW DO I GET MY DEGREE?
At that moment I fell headlong in love with Pam Hollenbeck, who passed away on Friday. I will love her forever.
What a handsome trio!
More to follow later, here's a start...
DR TCB, we met at Hawk's Prairie on December 3, 2016.
We drove up that day and met with everyone for lunch. We had an enjoyable evening watching DR George in The Physician in Spite of Himself.
The following day we met DR George for lunch and then the 3 of us enjoyed the afternoon performance of It's a Wonderful Life with a terrific performance by that guy playing Potter.

DR Vixmom, I'm happy that you made it to 96th Street safely and that you found friends at the reading. I know you were worried about the subway.

I figured out that part. It is okay, I looked him up.

You would think that after 67 years on this planet, I would have learned NOT to drink coffee after dinner!

Well, Sharry was right (as always). I can't believe it has been that long ago.

Thanks for the photos from yesterday, DR ChasSmith! I'm sorry we weren't there...
The altar today
I did watch the new Alan Cumming series last week. I think I will watch it again tonight.

Here it conflicts with back to back new episodes of Call the Midwife...
DR Elmore, what a lovely tribute to Pam. I was going to ask you if I'd ever met her, but seeing her photo makes me think not.
There was a delightfully campy ad for Grand Hotel in the 1990s with a lady with a foghorn voice saying "I loved it!" and ended with her saying "I'm going to see it twice more." The interviewer asked when. "As soon as I can get tickets. My husband works in the area."

I can't even do iced tea after noon.
Listening to Ella Fitzgerald. Great fun. The library had the Ella 100 set. Lots of selections I have never heard. The sound may not be pristine, but the singing sure is.
We received our new church directories this morning.... Was surprised to find this picture featured
Nicky was not thrilled with having to share the bed with me during his bed time.
Has anyone else been watching DECEPTION? It is basically CASTLE with a magician instead of a novelist. I have been enjoying it.

A sad thing was a memorial service for a friend. She died two months ago. She had early onset Alzheimer's, so her passing was a blessing.

Nice photo. With all you do there I am not surprised your photo was in the directories.
Good afternoon.
Lovely photos from NYC and DR VIXMOM's church and directory. She is becoming noticed.....I imagine the Synod has learned of her prominence.

The snow is off the street....the temps are in the 40's, so it is melting away everywhere else.
This morning the local fire rescue dept shoveled our driveway and sidewalk....I think we got on an OLD PEOPLE list somewhere....
Thank you, Jane. I hadn't seen her in a couple of years. She had to be moved into a memory care facility. She was happy there, so that is good.

DR Ginny, Pam came down every year to see me and the Jivettes shock Middletown. Were you at the big party at Pam and Shirley's after the last one? Pam and her kids and their friend Marilyn had come down from Toledo.
DR Ginny we have "Call the Midwife" set to watch. Thanks for the reminder.

I wish they had more of tango dancers so I could show John....they were amazing
I will have to do more housecleaning before then. How to find the time?
DR JOHN G says sloppy and lurid as if that is a bad thing....
I think I have at last FINISHED the Reunion Slide Show.....I added a few more things and changed the music around - but now I think I will let it rest.
After the final final futzing, I was watching it for proofing - up came the slide of our Freshman Basketball Team - it looked great, except underneath it I had written - Our Freshman Football Team....
Not in THOSE uniforms.....I had to go back to the drawing board....but better seen at my house than at the REUNION!!

The talkback ones were difficult to capture due to tricky exposure and the potential for blurring. These few are more or less the cream of the crop. Click to enlarge.

Everyone is gone. The dishwasher is loaded up. On to Easter.

I had the same situation yesterday, too...I'm sure that I ate too much if what I shouldn't have but my blood sugar was also lower than I expected. Whew!
;)

You both were very lucky or doing something right enough of the time to be ok anyway.
