Opera singers do everything they can to protect their voice and they feel that laughing (real laughing, at least) can be harmful to their instrument, so they use their learned technique and actually sing their laughing. :)

That's why some singing sets my teeth on edge.....i.e. Jane Powell and Kathryn Grayson....that annoying trilling drives me crazy.

I like to hear Jeanette MacDonald and I love Deanna Durbin, but they are not particularly known as opera singers.

I also like the Naked Hercules, although there is a tenor in that opera that pretty much walks off with the show there....well...the SINGING show....

I checked today and it is still available on the website, so I am taking her that info tonight....she'll probably order it in the next couple of days. Very nice, talented lady.....her husband is the President of DePauw....

So you may get her $$ order in a day or so.

She was on The Mike Douglas Show of all things....and came out and sang "Over the Rainbow" - and she was awful.

Renata Scotto.....nope....I can imagine how she laughed.

Did it arrive in your regular mail without additional fees? I also made sure it didn't go through a machine on this end which could have hurt the beads.

Big release today (just in time to beat the Monday big releases) - I'll just bide my time and do it when there's no glut. No one is releasing much show stuff right now, so those are never a problem and heaven knows I have at least seven more coming this year.
