I love your kitties DR ELMORE!
Oh, for who ever asked, was it you TCB? I really liked Little Women, although they cut out one if my favorite bits in the beginning of the book, their Christmas Eve "theatrical"and I am looking forward to seeing next weeks episode
Sorry to have disappeared so abruptly last night but our wifi did just that
DR elmore, your theory regarding a calm Thatch during the storm is a good one. It may also explain why he isn't keen on exploring.
LOL I never heard that Ethel Merman story....
How can they do LITTLE WOMEN without the "theatricals"??
I love your kitties DR ELMORE!
Thanks! I find them a constant source of amusement and affection. Tony Walton told me that he and Julie Andrews were walking through Central Park one day and they ran into Ethel Merman and her grandchildren, and Ethel was saying to them, So what the f**k do you want to do?
I feel like asking Annablle that at least once a day.
Is that Merman story supposed to be endearing? ;D
As Merman stories go DR JANE.....probably....

This is certainly endearing, from her wikipedia page.
"She also volunteered at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center working in the gift shop or visiting patients."

LOL. I found it rather unendearing.
Probably. Since she knew how Loretta Young felt about swearing, and it was her show, I think it was rather rude not to care about Young's feelings.
DR elmore, when you say "they are in the process of removing...." I hope they are not doing the work themselves.

Some, but others are helping.
Wednesday evening greetings from my sister’s home. She and I had a great time Up North.
I saw IT'S ALIVE at the drive in! Wow! The ad campaign was killer!

And she'd probably ask you the same question she asked Loretta Young!
I once had lunch with retired publicist Robert Ullman and Playbill editor Louis Botto and they had me rolling on the floor with Ethel Merman stories. Once, onstage in Call Me Madam, the stage crew was so noisy that she stopped a scene, said to the audience, Excuse me, turned upstage and yelled, Shut the F**k up!!!
Then, as if nothing happened, she resumed the scene. I love her!

It's less than three hours and I think we're getting "Scenes from Little Women"; Mark Adamo;s dreadful opera takes a similar approach.
Is that Merman story supposed to be endearing? ;D
My visit to the dentist was not great. A cavity and another tooth that is slightly broken and needs to be smoothed out.
The company decided to do something new, which was odd. They're now paying us a day in advance, so my paycheck appeared in my account this afternoon. Except ... they didn't tell anyone. Needless to say, a few of the 32,000 of us were a bit freaked out.

That's very strange! Do you get paid after the pay period ends? We get paid on the last day of the pay period, so if someone (in a very rare occurrence) needs to take a day without pay (or worse, quits or gets fired) before the business office can adjust things, they either have to have that amount held from their next pay check (unless they quit or were fired), or pay the money back. Fortunately, this is a very rare occurrence...although it has happened.

No. We get paid after every other week. And you work the two weeks and then get paid the following week.
But I may be going to Taiwan this December.
J.B. is not afraid of thunderstorm. They can be as loud as they can get and it doesn't faze him. But he was scared when the tornado went through the neighborhood. The loud whistle did upset him.
It upset me, too.

Oh, no! :o
~~~Teeth-Be-Fixed-Quickly-and-Painlessly Vibes for John!!~~~
And now, I need to leave work! I've been here for far too long and must get home. I actually walked to work today, so now Ihaveget to walk home. Fortunately, it's close enough. ;)
Be back later!
I woke up feeling poorly.
