I'm posting them slowly over the next few days. There is video of everyone although I'm not going to post them all.
Do have all of your props?
From last night:Do have all of your props?
Not all of them, but I'm getting there. Last night, I was asked for some new ones.

Are you also getting them temporary props to use during rehearsals, so they won’t ruin the good ones before the show?
Elmoore So sorry to hear about your problems. I went through a similar situation last year when I was working.

Thanks. The summer is always the worst, and I cannot make a living. I got a call from a singer I used to work with a bit. She wanted to know if i had a chart for "Somewhere" to borrow - several singers and at least one conductor I know have asked to borrow possible charts - and I took several days to track down and get a scan for the orchestration I had done for the NYC Gay Men's Chorus over 25 years ago. I sent her the scan, told her and her MD to adapt it and copy parts - all without charging her a cent - and then she hired Lanny Meyers to write a new chart!
Here's what I'm going to say about "I don't appreciate the pressure." All many of us can do is read what's posted here and make perhaps incorrect assumptions based on what we read here. In this particular case, I read about lots of work being done, whether Loesser, Joshie, and I know there've been times when I've tried to float upcoming work only to be turned down. I read of numerous get-togethers to see all manner of things. I make assumptions based on what I read. I post about something I'm involved with in NY and crickets and admonishing based on what I know most people understand as my sense of humor. I'm gonna leave it there. It doesn't make me happy to see anyone struggling. It doesn't make me happy to see me struggling.
Interesting info about that club. Was it different before it became Feinstein's? And how does he get his name attached to all these clubs anyway? Of course I understand the expense of these things - horrible, really. But there's also expense in seeing a show and it's usually twice the amount of a club - that said, I find these prices insane. It's not that way here in LA, where the most a cover is is twenty to twenty-five bucks.

Vibes for DR ELMORE.
George, sorry about your game. Have fun playing it again.
Oh, and have I mentioned that this is the day from hell? I am shutting out all communications and talking to no one.
Tonight for the first time in many moons....I have nothing that has to be done....I don't see anything that I need to watch on the teevee, so I am going to listen to some more 45 RPM phonograph records....
Well, this is already the day from hell.
Well after six hours, we have a cast. Paul is played by someone who is definitely NOT Robert Redford or even a RR Type....but he is a solid dependable guy....and our telephone man is the head of the local Chamber of Commerce....so that should sell some tickets....
And so the show goes on....
I will try to get a "cast photo" to post at tomorrow night's read thru...the rehearsal schedule is finished....although SISTER ACT work may cause some of it to be revised. My assistant has said that she can handle run throughs of scenes if they have already been blocked. I have been waiting five years for her to decide she can do that!
Of course I shall communicate here. I shall communicate that perhaps some ice cream will perk up this disgusting day and that includes all the irritating, insane drivers who have almost caused accidents today. They are out in force. Is Mercury in Mars or Uranus or Pluto or something?

MEGA VIBES to BK and ELMORE and anyone else needing them!
Took today off to attend a noon book discussion in at the public library in Hamilton. The book was The Paris Wife, one of my favorites, and Cynthia did a good job reviewing it for us.

Thanks, Jane. It is fun, and it takes a long time to play, so this is just a little blip in the whole scheme of things. ;)

It is the only book I have read by this author. It did not make me interested in reading more of her books. Did you like it?

BK, I have a sweatshirt that says, “There’s nothing wrong with me that a little ice cream won’t fix.”

I want one. The only ice cream I have here is low-cal rocky road and there's something I'm not liking about it. I may go out and find something else later.

Yes, DR Jane, I did like it. She has a new novel that’s based on the life of Hemingway’s third wife Martha Gelhorn. That one interests me, too.

I suppose if I liked these people I would have enjoyed reading about them :)

There’s some Graeter’s Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip our freezer. It’s calling my name...

Interesting thing about the "Color Purple" musical the first time I saw it was that at intermission, the feel was so hopeless, and I asked if anyone had seen the movie because if it ends up this hopeless, that was just the wrong day for this experience, so tell me does it end uplifting for as sad as it feels now. (It was very well done, almost too much so, but act 1 curtain came down on uncompromising despair.)

CALL ME BY MY NAME - my plea to the ice cream in our freezer (it's the special Belgian chocolate TRIO) from Haagen Dasz

Well, there is that...
I’m attracted to the time period and the locale, so liking the people isn’t a requirement for me.
Well, speaking of ice cream, I had some Schwan's Chocolate Malt Push-Ems® (https://www.schwans.com/products/product?id=53140) at home. Today, we had a summer potluck at work and I forgot to bring something! I rushed home and got the Chocolate Malt Push-Ems® and some Hippeas (http://hippeas.com/#products) (Jane, the power pepper version!) and brought those for the potluck. The Hippeas actually went fairly quickly, but there are still some Push-Ems® left. I'm going to have one of those now since I didn't have one earlier. ;D
Wae-Ling has been here for the past several days, helping me with a project. She's a very good worker. And I'm pooped. When did I get this old?

The malt push ems looking interesting for a bite or two.
We haven't tried those Hippeas. Are they spicy?
Thanks to Netflix we watched READY PLAYER ONE tonight 😊
Oh yes, and much more than the novel.
Maybe we can do another page just saying ”Hi.”
I doubt we have time.
