It was also filmed for broadcast on PBS. As part of that broadcast, they had Douglas Carter Beane, Jack O'Brien the director, and Nathan Lane the star sitting together and talking for a few minutes about the show. But on PBS's website, they had the full 48-minute interview. I was able to download that and just watched it again. It was quite informative and interesting. I wonder why they didn't make that whole interview its own show on TV. At least, they made it available. :)

Way too early. We had a lot of those early flights when we lived in Ashland, not so many now.

Either the Dutch Baby has changed or I have as I do not care for it anymore. The Apple Pancake is still good but way too sweet. Keith ordered the Nebraska (cornmeal) pancakes and they were delicious. I wish I had ordered them.

The hot chocolate is still good.

Staying with favorites is smart, most of the time. Today I should have gone with something new. I can't find it on the website so it was probably a special.

The Original location in Portland is rather small and I was told their menu is a bit different.

I agree. Barrymore helped turn a nice piece into maudlin mush.

At least in the first 75 pages, the series seems to have lost some of its charm. A lot of it is by rote, though the occasional bit can hit the target dead-on.
