You beat me to it, DR Jrand68! About an hour ago sister Catherine (aka Kate) excitedly came out of her bedroom and changed the channel on the TV in the living room to see if I thought that was Bruce on the Partridge Family. After I confirmed that it was indeed our own BK she exclaimed “what a cutie!”

I agree, Vixmom. Only for family. Or really really good friends.
4:30 Amis too damn early to be getting up and driving people to airports

Luckily, Leonard has not yet jumped onto the table.
Back from a nice visit with Kate’s son, his wife and their daughter, Evie. I saw their new house, which is very nice. Evie is now walking and running all over the place. Adorable!
Most of the cookies were delivered to the kids next door; the church people really didn't eat them.
We met our friend and her two daughters at the Original Pancakes House this morning. Either the Dutch Baby has changed or I have as I do not care for it anymore. The Apple Pancake is still good but way too sweet. Keith ordered the Nebraska (cornmeal) pancakes and they were delicious. I wish I had ordered them.
The hot chocolate is still good.
I love ON BORROWED TIME....I directed the play many years ago, and it was an audience pleaser.....
I wish I could have seen George C. Scott do the Gramps role on Broadway.....

My two standards are the buckwheat and the sourdough.
Everything there looks great (on other people’s plates) and I’d love to have eggs and other stuff now and then. But I’m only ever there twice a year or so, and I can never force myself to deviate from those favorites.
Now I want to watch WHO KILLED TEDDY BEAR?
Is anyone watching THE WOMAN IN WHITE tonight? My brother just wrote to tell me about it. We watched an older mini-series not all that long ago so will pass.
I finished my I Married an Angel score, had a nap with A & T, and fed them. I had a tuna salad sandwich for dinner, but DR vixmom's pig-out sounds wonderful.
Last night, we watched the 1939 film On Borrowed Time. I liked everyone in the cast except for Lionel Barrymore. I thought he was working far too hard as Gramps. I kept thinking how wonderful my late friend Bernard Hughes would be in the role.

Those cookies are spectacular!!! I see no flaws

Is that based on the Wilkie Collins novel?

A nap sounds wonderful. I didn't get one today or yesterday.

Back from a wretched lunch at some barbecue jernt - Wood Ranch, a chain. More about that later. Then saw 42nd Street. Not a very good production - lots of Gower choreography but not all and the stuff that wasn't his paled - how could it not?

Yesterday I bought a Masterpiece version of The Moonstone. Looking forward to watching that.
