Well, you've read the notes, the notes were followed by more notes, and now it is time for you to post until the rehearsed cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: UNIVOCAL!
-
First post after BK!
-
And now, to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
I had a long dream about staging The Threepenny Opera.
-
DR Laura, did I ever ask how Rex and Leonard are getting along?
-
I have no more news.
-
My son, David, is now a resident of Austin, TX.
:D
-
T.O.D.
Nothing new at RedBox worth watching.
When is Hollywood going to start making some good movies again?
-
Good morning!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good news, DR Druxy!
-
TOD:
I started watching The Reivers last night, which I am enjoying though not quite as much as I did years ago. I was kinda hoping this would help me past an anti-Faulkner mood I’ve been in since reading Absalom! Absalom! I guess I just have no interest in the South right now.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Late afternoon yesterday and last night started feeling like Friday.
Now it's Friday.
-
And it's a dreary rainy day. Too bad. Last couple of days were beautiful.
-
BK needs to give his cast members those t-shirts that say:
I CAN'T.
I HAVE REHEARSAL.
-
Continued show vibes for DR GEORGE.
Learning the lists vibes for DR TCB.
Rehearsal vibes for MR BK & Co. Perhaps the actor is 'saving it for the performance' - one of the dumbest things I have ever heard.....
-
There were three fire trucks in my neighborhood last night - someone must have had a crying baby.
-
My son, David, is now a resident of Austin, TX.
:D
Congrats on your good fortune.

Today I went to Goodwill to get a specific thing....if they had it....and they did: a rolling computer table for $19.99 with 20% off - so now the computer and printer that had been in the back bedroom for five years - is now in the new media room!
-
Congrats to DR DRUXY......
-
Good morning.
-
I was supposed to walk with my neighbor this morning but she backed out. I think she thought it was raining and decided to go later when the weather cleared up.
Instead of walking I am going to turn some music on and do aerobics inside.
-
My sister Annaliese turns 60 today.
-
Good afternoon to all
-
Friday
morning afternoon greetings! I slept until almost 9am today and have spent the morning puttering. It's so-o-o-o-o good to be home!
-
Thanks, DR FJL, for last night's welcome home!
-
My sister Annaliese turns 60 today.
Happy Birthday to Annaliese!
Yes, DR John G, we were out in the middle of nowhere yesterday, with no alternative but to wait it out. I'd almost suggested to Richard that we take the Bluegrass Parkway over to Lexington to pick up I-75, but figured that would add too much time to the drive. As is turns out, it would have SAVED us time...

While it is nice to go away it is just as nice to return home, unless your home had a partial flood & you need surgery ;)

Could you have checked your GPS to see if that would have been faster?

I don't think the incident that caused the back-up had yet occurred when we crossed the Bluegrass Parkway. By the time we encountered the traffic jam, we were way beyond that alternative.
-
Too bad.
-
Oh, well, it's something to talk about...
I've now caught up on some computer and desk work, so it's time to get myself together to do errands. We need 2 of everything from the grocery and I'm looking forward to seeing the progress they've made in the overhaul of our Kroger store. It was a mess the last time I was there before we left.
Bye for now.

My sister Annaliese turns 60 today.
Happy Birthday!

I'm up, I'm up - I think I got close to eight hours of sleep.

A Very Happy Birthday to sister Annaliese!! :D

Happy Birthday to the sister of DR JOHN G.
And welcome home vibes for DR GINNY - your pictures on BookFace were great....especially the Natchez trail photos!
-
Thank you, all, on behalf of Annaliese.

The Barnes and Noble Criterion dale begins today.
-
Back from some lunch, picking up packages and NO pension check, which is a real problem now so I have to call, and then a really ugly bit of business driving home.
-
The Barnes and Noble Criterion dale begins today.
I bankrupted myself by preordering the Bergman box set.

Was in the middle of the block before my house, driving along when some moron who's watering out there sprays my car and starts screaming that I'm speeding. I looked at the speedometer - twenty. He threateningly starts walking up the street as I'm driving on, even though my temptation was to get out of the car and have it out the the mofo. So, I pull into my driveway and go in the house. A minute later he's banging on my door, screaming "I'm gonna f*ck you up." At that point I called 911. They got here about twenty minutes later and were really nice. I told them approximately where the guy was watering and they were going to go look for him to have a chat. I really hope they find him and let him know it's NOT okay to do what he did. What a cretin. They all stand outside their houses and give EVERY driver the evil eye as if they were going 100 miles per hour. The fact is it's IMPOSSIBLE to get up enough speed on that block because once you've turned onto it there's a stop sign at the other end and you'd really have to put on the brakes if you were speeding. Twenty is not speeding, nor is twenty-five, thirty, or thirty-five. But these people are nuts and out of control and think their the vigilantes of the neighborhood. The fact is, in the year I've been here I have never seen ONE person speeding in this neighborhood.
-
The police people called me back - they're pretty sure they found his house (lots of water where he'd been watering). They said either he was out or he didn't answer the door - either way I believe they left something there to let their presence be known. And said to call them if he even looks at me funny again.
-
Oh, my goodness! What is wrong with people these days?? :o
-
Happy birthday, Annaliese!!!
-
Bk - is it possible the person just is not all there?
-
BK--sounds like a wacko in your neighborhood.
-
I'm really liking Barbra's new CD. I think my favorite so far is a medley of Imagine and What a Wonderful World.
-
My son, David, is now a resident of Austin, TX.
:D
I'm sure you're happy about that, DR Druxy!
-
My sister Annaliese turns 60 today.
Happy Birthday to Annaliese!

Funny lines from "Fresh Off the Boat" tonight:
Mother: "He's 15 and he reads "Angry" magazine"
Father: "It's "Mad" magazine"
-
LOL.....DR KEVINH - there were a lot of funny lines on THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT this week as well.....
-
I am horrified by MR BK's story of the wild man on his street.....some guy yelled at me one day last August...."SLOW DOWN!" and glared....like MR BK I looked at my speedometer......24 MPH.....not speeding....
I just shook my head.....
-

Oh, my goodness! What is wrong with people these days?? :o
Ditto on that!

We tried a new restaurant in town tonight and will not be returning. It is on the river in a newly development area. We eat early and it was still crowded. The drinks were good but Keith's Manhattan needed a bit more Rye in it. The food was ok but nothing special, especially at the price we paid. He had a nice view of the river but my back was to it.
-
Well, I must be off. Time to head to the theater. I need to fix some props (just some hot glue is needed), then I'll watch the show...again. I don't know what the crowd size will be. We'll see!
Until later!
-
BK needs to give his cast members those t-shirts that say:
I CAN'T.
I HAVE REHEARSAL.
I recall a marriage proposal being turned down on the TV show SMASH with the answer "I'm in tech." I even think I wrote something about that.
-
Back from rehearsal to find we're on PAGE THREE??? REALLY?
-
I'm calling 911.
-
Well, the best laid plans - we were supposed to have our entire cast tonight until we got an e-mail from the gal who's been gone since SUNDAY (mom died). Her plane was delayed, she got in at one and decided she was too tired to rehearse. These people just don't get it - how it impacts the show and everyone in it. Doug wrote her a strong e-mail about doing it because she should do it, to which she replied, "Wow. Just wow." Good thing that reply was not sent to me. And so a key player was once again gone, but we made the best of a bad situation and did the run and there were some good things done, I gave notes, cleaned some stuff up, and that was that. The errant and truant actress will be with us tomorrow and every day thereafter. I told everyone that after Monday, when we have one person missing but someone to cover her, that there will be no more excuses, absences, or lateness.
-
I am not defending the actress who was too tired to rehearse, however, tired might have been an understatement of how she felt. I also realize that being a Friday she has all weekend to rest, yet it is possible without the rest tonight she could end up being too sick to preform at all. It just seems so many people get svery sck after dealing with a long distance death like that.
-
While Keith had the seat with a view at dinner he also had the sun shining directly on him. It was so bright there was a glare off of his shirt bothering my eyes.
-
After we were home I asked if he liked something to do with what I was wearing. He hadn't noticed cuz he couldn't see me very well due to the glare. ;D
-
Good evening.
-
#76?? Not good.
-
Was the site down?
-
Did everyone forget to pay their cable bill?
-
Are all of our regulars being held captive?
-
Did everyone attend a Trump rally?
-
Is everyone at the ROCKY HORROR SHOW?
-
Is everyone watching GONE WITHE WIND?
-
Is it half-price day at the zoo.
-
Was there a Bollywood film festival on National Geo?
-
Are the Three Stooges appearing at the Hollywood Bowl?
-
Is everyone bowling at the Hollywood Stooge?
-
I watched AMERICAN IN PARIS tonight on PBS.
-
I am glad I didn’t pay Broadway prices to see it.
-
Actually, I am glad I didn’t pay anything to see it.
-

-
I had to fight to stay awake.
-
Of course, I hated the movie.
-
Probably because of Gene Kelly.
-
There was just too much dance for me.
-
Next Friday night is SOUND OF MUSIC.
-
Is that a British production?
-
Oh well. I can always watch HAWAII 5-O.
-
Or, better yet, I can work on my lines.
-
We must be off book by Monday, November 12.
-
This week I should get to see the rest of the cast.
-
That should give me an idea on whether I want to change my name.
-
I hope ROCKY went well tonight.
-
I am afraid I will have to miss that production.
-
I am too old for a midnight performance.
-
And I am tied up on Sunday afternoon.
-
Hopefully, I can see CHRISTMAS STORY, A MUSICAL.
-
Oh, wow, I have Monday night off this week.
-
Stage combat rehearsal on Monday.
-
I guess that leaves me out.
-
I would just over them with my scooter.
-
Just the usual absent former late-night denizen called George. Lowest posting total ever, yes or no? I'm not changing the topic for a while because I find this rather nauseating, especially after the day this has been.
-
Oh crap. It is is after midnight.
-
Today could be closed at any moment.
-
I hope I feel okay tomorrow.
-
Not that I am sick. Exactly.
-
I am thinking this really may be my last show.
-
My brain isn’t cut out for lines anymore.
-
Not that I am in great demand these days.
-
One more post.

UNDERPANTS!!
-
So much for my attempts to me clever.
-
If I was a butcher, I might have a clever cleaver.
-
Or not.
-
Nick is not happy that I am posting.
-
He would prefer that I cuddle.
-
My typing keeps him awake.
-
And I am on his side of he bed.
-
He seemed to be feeling better today.
-
I fell asleep working my lines this afternoon
-
I guess my voice puts me to sleep.
-
I, also, watched the TV-movie of YES VIRGINIA today.
-
No Edward Mitchell narration in the film.
-
I think that made it a little darker story.
-
I do add some lighter moments to the play.
-
Goodnight!
-
Who the Hell vacuums their carpet at 12:30 in the morning??
-
Apparently my upstairs neighbor!
-
Well, I must be off. Time to head to the theater. I need to fix some props (just some hot glue is needed), then I'll watch the show...again. I don't know what the crowd size will be. We'll see!
Until later!
Well, what do you know...no new day!
-
;)
-
Is everyone at the ROCKY HORROR SHOW?
Yes! The place was packed! They LOVED it!
-
I hope ROCKY went well tonight.
It did. No real technical problems other than after the show, one woman mentioned that she thought the microphones weren't done well. I didn't exactly understand what she meant by that. :-\
-
Next Friday night is SOUND OF MUSIC.
Is that a British production?
I think it was the British version of the filmed-live musical.
-
Hopefully, I can see CHRISTMAS STORY, A MUSICAL.
I hope so, too!
