Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a day off and a week ahead, and now it is time for you to post until the day off and week ahead cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ADONIZE!
-
First post after BK!
-
I gotta tell you.
-
BK, I'm curious. Have my 10 Indiegogo CDs been shipped yet? Thanks.
-
I don't have to go to rehearsal tonight, so I won't have to leave work early and stay out late. My cat will be happy about that. ;)
-
And now, to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
The plumber did not show up yesterday to repair the hot water leak, and I am am becoming quite disenchanted with our new super.
-
I watched the election returns until 10:30 and went to bed. The major defeat that bothers me is Beto O'Rourke's. I'd give plenty to see Ted Cruz put back for good under the rock from which he crawled.
-
I've been banned from Facebook for thirty days for a comment I so not find offensive in the least, so I've asked for a review.
-
I was going to have some breakfast, but i cannto wash up wuthout hot water. Color me really truly pissed at the moment.
-
All of this tsuris: little work, little income, the hot water/plumbing issue makes me wonder if the universe is telling me it's time to leave New York or die.
-
Good morning, all.

What the HELL!?

Amen.

Was Claire Foy the actress in the previous “Girl” movies?
No. For the US movie The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Rooney Mara was Lisbeth Salander.
-
Vixmom, ajihnmfis thanks you for the vibes and so do I.
-
I arrived at my off-campus meeting way too early only so I could get a parking spot. So now I’m here and waiting.
-
Good morning!
-
It's a beautiful morning in the nation's capital. High in the low 60's - a little warm for November, but I'll take it.

I guessed someone would have answered this while I was catching up.

A trick I learned is to wash the dishes with cold water then pour boiled hot water over them.

Good luck with that.

King Kong the Musical.....hmmmm.....does King Kong have a song?
-
I think I donated for the cast album on IndieGo.....
-
Yesterday was a day.....I think I forgot to come to HHW.....but I'm alive and kicking....
-
I saw Bohemian Rhapsody last night and enjoyed it very much.....
-
I hope DR TCB feels better today.
Congrats to DR GEORGE on his additional role!
-
And now....Page Two.
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep.
-
I am home from City Center and market. It was needlessly difficult getting home from midtown.
-

Agreed. :-\

I did, too (of course, separately from the 10-CD perk). Can't wait for it! :)
-

Congrats to DR GEORGE on his additional role!
Ditto!
Thanks, Jrand!

Larry, I read this too quickly. I thought you had written: It was needlessly difficult getting home from a meltdown.
;)

King Kong Sings.....includes a duet with Judy Collins.... I am waiting for the CD.

That, too!
-
Slow news day at HHW.
-
I am horrified by MR BK's story about his lost pension check.....outrageous!
-
Will the forgetful actress get to use her music when she records the CD?
-
It is NOT 6 p.m. but it is nearly dark. Birdy Barnum is not amused that he doesn't get to go to bed at sundown.....

Seems fitting :)

It turned out to be a lovely fall day.
-
I had a daylong meeting. My brain is fried.
-
Information overload and it was coming from all directions.
-
Can’t wait to dance tonight.
-
Somehow the government went even further hellward while I was in that session.
-
Or should I have said Sessions?

Ha!

It was here, too. It's starting to get colder, but it was lovely.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
The midterm election was just so exhausting! I felt I needed a Mental Health Day, so I took one. :D
-
It's starting to get cool here, too.
-
Does anyone know what Beto O'Rourke's plans are? I'm sorry he won't still be in the House.
-
I hope TCB is feeling better today.
-
Tonight will tell the tale of the forgetful actress. She doesn't want lyrics on a clipboard as protection, so she's not going to get that tonight. Will she get through the scene and song unscathed this evening? Since that has never happened once I have my suspicions. We shall see how it goes and then will meet and decide. The replacement is already learning the role.
-
I've been cleaning out closets and cabinets a little bit at a time. The avalanches are history, but there's lots left. Living in a small space encourages one to pare down. I don't ever expect to be a minimalist, though.
-

Oh, good! I was worried about that.
-
Vibes to all.
TTFN.

As long as I don't need to wear more than a t-shirt, vest, and my soft jacket I am ok with the cooler temps. Once I need long sleeved clothing my elbow is not happy.
-
Good evening.

On the phone with PayPal trying to figure out what exactly has been going on with my account. This goes back to Sunday, when I inadvertently used that card at Vitello's when there wasn't enough PayPal funds to cover it - so it zeroed my account and took the balance from my bank account, which is the back-up funding source. So far so good. So my account stayed at zero for a day or so as no payments came in, and two other charges came in and also used the bank account as the back-up source. Meantime, some orders came in for Carol Christmas and other stuff and if you add those up it should come out to a certain figure. But that figure is nowhere in site, but it's also saying that it just completed one of the charges that I know used the back-up bank account source - so I'm making sure I haven't been charged twice for this stuff as it's at least two hundred below what it should be.

What the hell is wrong with kids today? 15 year old argued with his mother over a bad grade so he strangled her to death then was happy while confessing. AAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
-
Best of luck with the forgetful actress, BK.
-
I’m at a place called Pizzaroto, which is like Subway for pizza.
-
“Are you going to want any drizzles on your pizza?”
How do you answer that kind of a question?
-

WTF?? :o
-
I have drizzle-free pizza. Thank you very much.

Like the kid who killed his grandmother then himself. She had told him to clean his room.

There has got to be more to this story, at least I hope so.

;D
-
Did you find out what drizzles are?
-
Well, I await with breathless anticipation to find out what drizzles are. ;)
-
In the meantime, I'm going home. I have some laundry and some TV watching to do, so I shall.
Be back later.
-
I am tired of being angry all the tim
-
Can't I just win the lottery and go live somewhere away from idiots and Self entitled narcissists?
-
Please?
-
Hoping things get better at work, DR vixmom.

Went to see Petula Clark at the Birchmere in Alexandria. The only time I had seen her in concert was at the ALS Tribute a few years ago (BK directed it). She sang two or three songs that night.
-
I looked up her age--she'll be 86 next week! She did a 90 minute set with no break, sang all her hits and then some. Well, the only one I wished she had sung was " Kiss Me Goodbye." I think I liked "This is My Song" the best.
-
I loved Petula Clark in concert. It’s been about 25 years now. She sang something from Mr Chips. But nothing from Finian. Met her afterwards. She was looking to party. Her audience was largely older than she was.

“America used to be about the pursuit of happiness. Now it's about the pursuit of money, fame and Twitter followers.”
Brilliant insight from Eric Idle. I’m listening to his “sortabiography.”
-
I’ve gotten through the Python years, Baron Munchhausen and his attempt to get Mel Brooks to do a Broadway version of The Producers with Brooks as Bialystok and Idle as Bloom.
Spamelot is next.
-
Watching a documentary (of sorts) on Dr. Seuss. In it, it says that he met his wife during a class on Shakespeare's use of punctuation in King Lear.
Wow. That class sounds like a gutbuster, even to this grammar geek.
-
No wonder he found time to pay attention to someone else during class time.
-
Let's move on ...
-
Four!
-
Listening to Robin Williams read the Cat in the Hat. Great choice.
-
Eileen Brennan narrated The Grinch.
-
By the time this weird little documentary ended, host Kathy Nijimy was dancing and quoting Cassie from A Chorus Line. Which has what to do with Dr. Seuss? Other than it's all nonsense.
-
Time for bed.
-
Well, I await with breathless anticipation to find out what drizzles are. ;)
As am I ;D
-
Page four? Really?
-
Back from a pretty decent run-through, especially as we had sound tonight - some things to fix but the system will work very well. As to the forgetful actress who has never, not one time, gotten through scene or song without completely mangling lines and lyrics - and to whom we gave every opportunity, including an extra day this week - we're replacing her as of tonight.
-
Vibes for no more cast problems.
-
Good evening.
-
Home from rehearsal.
-
Oh dear! #101.
-
Page 4? Really?
-
Rehearsal was long and depressing.
-
We preview two weeks from tonight.

A whole class on just the punctuation use in one play?? :o

Where do I sign up?
;)
-
I haven’t decided if I should slit my wrists or move to Costa Rica.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
I’m not sure which would be less painful.
-
Actually, I like Costa Rica.

As my aunt used to say, "Good riddance to bad rubbish." ::)
-
The cost of living used to be very favorable.
-
But then all the travel magazines started spreading the word.
-
Rehearsal was long and depressing.
Oh, no! What's going on?
-
The rest, as they say, is history.
-
Oh well. Hopefully nobody will see the show.
-
Hi to my Washington Buds. How's your weather? Do you have any rain you can send down here?
-
We are having beautiful weather here.
-
A little chilly, but beautiful.
-
Page 5
-
Gratuitous post #121!
-
Hi, jan.
-
Hi, George.
-
We never have rain in Washington! We just tell people that to keep them from moving here.
-
Our weather can't make up it's mind. Warm, cool, warm, cool and no rain!
-
Wow! We are almost out of time.
-
Apparently it's No-Shave November, but I stopped doing that two months ago.
-
I thought it was mustache November.
-
Or something like that.
-
Did jan leave us?
-
I haven't shaved since last week, but I've just been lazy in the mornings.
-
I haven't shaved since last week, but I've just been lazy in the mornings.
Me either.
-
You have a PM, George.
-
You have a PM, George.
You have a response, Tom. :)
-
No, you have a response.
-
And now, back to you, Tom!
-
And to you! Goodnight, George.
-
Goodnight, jan.
