Well, you've read the notes, the notes were sorta kinda, and now it is time for you to post until the sorta kinda cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: BOUSTROPHEDON!
-
Good morning, all!
-
The last 45 minutes have been intense. I believe the source of all of Annabelle's congestion is the dry heat in the apartment from the radiators. This morning, she was completely congested, so I dragged her into the bathroom, wiped her nose to see if there were any dried gunk blocking her nostrils, then flushed her nose with several syringes of water. She fought a lot, so here's a tip:
Never Ever dose a cat wearing only your underwear; wear armor.
-
When I fed her and Thatch, she ate, which means she can smell, and she's forgiven me for my assault. I then turned off the radiator, and got the laundry together. Today I will do laundry and clean the humidifier and rinse out the filter.
-
Well, I headed for the basement and the goddam elevator is out of order! This is the second time this week and the damned thing was installed new in March. What the hell?
-
The ill omens continue. I'd like to go back 65 years to when I was in elementary school and taught that if we worked hard and applied ourselves it was a bed of roses. I want to kick some educational ass.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Armored vibes for Elmore. Breathing vibes for Annabelle.
-
Good morning, all.
-
TOD:
Blu-ray: Just "The Freshman" for now.
With much keyboard practice on that today.
-
Glad to hear the replacement looks to be getting the job done nicely.
-
Armored vibes for Elmore. Breathing vibes for Annabelle.
Seriously. Glad to hear she came around after her flushing. Is DR Elmore in a whole-body bandage now?
-
Annabelle and I made our patrol. She still loves me and we had a good time. we saw the super so I had a chance to bitch about the plumbers, the leak, and the elevator. It does no good, but I felt better for venting.
-
Since laundry is out for the moment, I need to clean out the linen closet and put away a lot of books and things that are out of their own turf.
-
Why am I up? Why have I been up for an hour? Why did I only get three hours of sleep?
-
Good morning.
-
Why is MR BK up this early?
-
The predicted snow never showed....but it is promised for the weekend.
-
Eye surgery vibes for DR TCB.
Super vibes for DR ELMORE.
-
I am about to give up on my Morning News Team.....they have moved from fun to annoying......but I certainly am not interested in TODAY or GMA....I like local....there's only one other choice....so we shall see....Monday may be the day for change.
-
DR JANE he sings on key for the most part....but he doesn't know all of his lyrics.....he may have to be replaced.

EYE TREATMENT VIBES FOR DR TCB!

The elevator crew just left, and the laundry is in the washers. The humidifier is in its second half of the cleaning stage. I must step to market and then tackle the linen closet.
-
Good morning!
-
One more...
-
Page 2!
-
The humidifier is running again. I need to order new filters for it and the purifier.

EYE TREATMENT VIBES FOR DR TCB!
And more. (I guess the point size of the message is okay for after the surgery.)
-
TOD:
German movies. Berlin Alexanderplatz, all 13 hours of it, arrived yesterday.
-
I shall shortly be on my way to the theater to dry tech our show.

George, are you the official historian here?
Not really. I just happened to notice it. :)

I think tomorrow I will winterize the bed and launder the bedding and throw rugs. I'm very happy with all I accomplished today, so i'm on a roll.
-
Annabelle has eaten both meals today, and after our round in the
operating bathroom I've not heard a sneeze or attempt to clear her nose.
-
Friday evening greetings! After 6 days of being on the go and making 3 batches of caramel corn in 3 days, I crashed this afternoon. I worked at the bazaar from 11-1, came home for lunch, then slept a couple of hours in my recliner. Back at it tomorrow, but I will be home in the afternoon for Michigan football on TV.
-
Thatch has made my bed his bed. DR Laura predicted something like this when things with his adjustment to living here were rough last December and January. As soon as I lie down for a nap or turn down the bedding to go to bed, he runs over and jumps in with me and stays the night. This morning at 5:30 his "get up and feed me" dance all over my body was quite Delsarte. I would not have been surprised if he or Annabelle had yelled "One Grecian urn."

Annabelle looks very pretty in her photo.
-
Sweet pic of Thatch in his sleeping place.
-
Our bed used to be rather crowded with all the cats sleeping on top or under the covers.
-
Such lovely and sweet personality photos DR ELMORE.....
-
Happy Anniversary Vibes to HHW and us ALL in particular our fearless leader MR BK!
-
That's quite a list of songs on that CD DR GEORGE.....I am particularly intrigued by "The Borgias Are Having An Orgy"......
-
Love the pictures, Larry!

I'm listening to the original off-Broadway cast recording of Desperate Measures (http://castalbums.org/recordings/Desperate-Measures-2018-Original-Off-Broadway-Cast/39342/) right now. I'll listen to Lost West End Revues: London's Forgotten Revues 1940-1962 (http://castalbums.org/recordings/Lost-West-End-Revues-Londons-Forgotten-Revues-1940-1962-Various-Artists/39713) when I'm finished.
-
Our bed used to be rather crowded with all the cats sleeping on top or under the covers.
My cat Neve sleeps on top of me, but she never wants to get under any covers. My previous cat Ebonie, my parents' cat, and my sister and niece's cats all like to get under covers or coats or towels, but not Neve. I wonder if something happened to her years ago. ???
-
Interesting.
-
Does Neve like small boxes?
-
Annabelle looks very pretty in her photo.
She's a little beauty!

Thatch likes hiding under towels, quilts, etc. and sleeping there, but he will not get under the blankets with me. He prefers to lie close to me on top of the bed spread. Annabelle likes to get under the blankets and curl up in the curve of my hip or the bottom of the bed by my feet.

Happy 17th Anniversary to BK - and THANK YOU!

Happy 17th to BK and all DRs!
-
Nice photos of your kitties, DR elmore!
-
This goddam building! Now my cold water faucet in the bathroom sink has such a large leak that both main valves of hot and cold water for the apartment must be turned off. The hot water main valve is leaking all over the floor so I have a pan under the sink to catch the leak. This is ridiculous.
-
Indoor plumbing was a great invention until it goes bad, then you want to blow it up.
-
Does Neve like small boxes?
I don't have any, so I don't know. I'll have to find something and see what she does.

Yikes!! :o
-
Good evening.
-
I am in a Red Roof Inn. The room is very nice. But there are homeless people camping in the parking lot.
-
Wonderful pics of the kitties, Elmore. I am so glad Thatch has decided your bed is his bed.
-
Sadly, Leonard has decided that since he has a home now, it is no longer necessary to purr and cuddle.

Be back later.

Yes, you should have a variety of boxes ;)

That is not nice of him.

At least your room is nice.

Wow, so much to catch up on!
-
My brother and his crew were in Florida for my folk's 66th anniversary last week, so I went this week.
-
It totally got by me, which is what happens with less than three hours of sleep and getting up at five-thirty and then having an eleven-hour day. So, happy 17th, even though I thought it was the 18th. Love you all madly.
-
Long day of dry tech, which we did twice. First time she showed me everything and I had her adjust as we went along. Then there were a few other things where I adjusted the cast to the lights. Then I got a burger and fries at Tom's - I think they once again are under new ownership because it wasn't nearly as good or even the same as their usual.
-
Then we ran the cues again, made further adjustments, and then I worked for an hour with the sound guys on music cue levels.
-
Then the cast arrived. And guess what? One of our leads has the stomach flu. You must understand, I have been saying from the start to stay away from sick people and to take preventatives. And how did this gal get the stomach flu - hold on to your hats - she works at a day school or day care and some kid had the stomach flu. If it were me, I would have stayed so far away from said kid and let someone else deal with it or I would have left. But no, that's too logical and instead we have an actor who is now sick. I know she wanted to go home but I could not lose the run-through and she stayed, wore a mask so she wouldn't contaminate anyone and didn't touch props or people, so that was good. I let her go as soon as we were through, which was around eight o'clock.
-
And I told her she didn't have to come to the cue-to-cue at ten - so she'll come at eleven-thirty for the photo call and then we do the first of our two run-throughs at twelve o'clock. They'll then have a one hour lunch, and then we'll do the second run at performance level and hopefully we'll be out by four-thirty so everyone can get some rest before the recording session on Sunday morning. Hopefully it's a 24-hour bug, which is what these things seem to be.
-
The run-through went pretty well - only a few flubbed light cues, but many more flubbed sound cues - missing sfx, early or late starts on the tracks, but I took notes and all that will be cleaned up at the cue-to-cue in the morning - it's both a sound AND lighting cue to cue. The lighting looks good, but two instruments are out so those won't be replaced until Monday, so I won't see the actual center light until then. After notes, I ran a few things and that was that. Oh, and I informed the company that there are no more run-throughs - just FUN-throughs from now on. I also blocked the curtain call.

Vibes it is only a 24 hour bug.

The fires didn't keep anyone's away?

Changing run-throughs to fun-throughs sounds like a great idea!

Thank you all for the laser eye vibes.

#101!

Hi, Tom.
-
Hi, George.
-
I
watched endured tonight’s showing of THE SOUND OF MUSIC on PBS.
-
It was.... okay.
-
I watched endured tonight’s showing of THE SOUND OF MUSIC on PBS.
Darn. I forgot to set my DVR to record it. :-\
-
Apparently a “live” taping of a performance from the UK.
-
Apparently a “live” taping of a performance from the UK.
I remember hearing about it at the time.
-
I did not care for the Maria, which in that show, can be a problem.
-
The Captain was okay.
-
As were Max and Elsa.
-
Two and a half hours including Pledge breaks.
-
Today’s laser treatment went very well.
-
Today’s laser treatment went very well.
That's great, Tom!
-
Then Sharry and I went to lunch.
-
We are on page four? Really? This is the way we celebrate seventeen YEARS?
-
As Ingmar Bergman would say, skammen.
-
We went to Joeseppi’s Eye-talion Ristorante.
-
We both had spaghetti with meat sauce, and butter and Parmesan cheese.
-
Page 5
-
We are on page four? Really? This is the way we celebrate seventeen YEARS?
No, we are on page five.
-
Then Sharry drove me home, and it was nap time for me.
-
As it probably was for Sharry when she got back home.
-
DR TCB I am pleased it when t well and that you were up to goi b out to lunch.
-
When I woke up from napping, I couldn’t see out of my right eye.
-
I finally figured out that my eye had crusted shut.
-
After using my drops and wiping out the crud, my vision was much improved.
-
And now, everything seems to be back to normal.
-
Well, normal for me. Whatever that is.
-
I did not care for the Maria, which in that show, can be a problem.
The Captain was okay.
I like Julian Ovenden.
-
It's been available in the UK since 2016, but it's available from Amazon.com on Blu-ray (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G2D87DK/) and DVD (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G2CTJ26/).
-
So, instead of running lines, I watched MACGUYVER and then SOUND OF MUSIC.
-
When I woke up from napping, I couldn’t see out of my right eye.

My fortune cookie says, “You will take a gamble and win.”
-
I probably should have taken the gamble three days ago when I got the cookie.
-
Goodnight, George.
