Well, you've read the notes, the notes kept on top of everything, and now it is time for you to post until the keeping on top of everything cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: PAWKY!
-
First post after BK.
-
I had just written a brilliant bit of observation, when the page was locked last night.
-
Naturally, it is now lost to the ages.
-
T.O.D.
BK, have you had any contact with Cindy Williams since Penny Marshall passed away?
-
Goodnight, jan.
-
Pawky Bruce, what would it take to change the sour to sweet?

Good news! Lots of dough coming in!

I keep meaning to call her, but haven't yet.
-
Gratuitous Post #10!
-
DGA noms came out - no Rob Marshall, no a lot of folks. How they nominated Adam McKay OR Bradley Cooper is anyone's guess. Neither are good directors, especially the smart-assy "style" of McKay, who's just a combo platter of Oliver Stone and Martin Scorsese and a few others. They'll probably give it to Cuoron but I did not vote for him.
-
DR elmore did the vet run more tests and/or do any tests?
-
We are in the bis for the long ride back to the ship. I had no idea how wonderful Hoi An would be. No wonder it is an UNESCO SITE
-
I think I did nineteen pages! Go know. Now I must sleep.
-
Congrats on the 19 pages, BK! Sleep well. I'm off to bed, too.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
The cats and I watched most of a PBS Dr. Blake mystery at 8:00, and by 9:00 we were all asleep. Annabelle currently eats dry treats like Purina Party Mix and Temptations from my hands, but she will not touch the Fancy Feast she's been eating for the past 16 months.
-
I will shortly run to Broadway Farms for more turkey. I think I will see if the Meow Mix seafood flavor tempts her fancy.
-
I made the bed, cleaned the litter, and made patrol with Annabelle, who's showing real signs of improvement. Then I gave her her medicine for the next week. Things went downhill immediately. And now off to market.
-
Good morning, all.
-
No Internet last night. AT&T sucks. I need to find another service provider.
-
Good morning, all.
-
It’s a day for working on music projects. A little of this, a little of that.
-
Last night I accompanied friend Kristi to the movies to see “Escape Room”. She had to watch it for a discussion podcast she’s part of, and I was just curious to see how much it resembles the “Cube” movies that have occasionally served as a guilty pleasure.
The movie was certainly interesting and entertaining, but ultimately forgettable. A throwaway bit of thriller fun. The AMC chicken tenders and curly fries were tasty and satisfying.
-
Good morning!
-
Vibes for Annabelle!
-
My condolences, DR Jrand.
-
I joined AMC A List yesterday. It costs $19.95 a month. It entitles you to see up to three movies a week. I started off by seeing "The Green Book." I enjoyed it a lot.
-
One more...
-
Page 2!
-
Home from market, and happy to be here.
-
We are ready for bed and hope we sleep. Having colds is a real bummer while on a cruise.
-
I started writing today on the new play in THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS collection.
-
We still don't know the subject DR DRUXY....were any of our guesses correct?
-
Congrats to MR BK on his pages and continued writing and SWEET vibes.....
-
Thanks to all for the additional condolences....much appreciated.
-
DR VIXMOM how does it feel to get out of work while it is still light outside?
-
Wednesday afternoon greetings! I am very much in the s-l-o-w lane today.

That's three of us. Thatch and I have spent the morning doxing in front of the TV.
-
I need to stop in the corner bodega. I want to pick up a few different flavors of cat food to see if any tempt Annabelle.
-
Arrangements.....visitation Friday 8-5 p.m. and service and burial Saturday 11 a.m.
-
So now we know.
-
I'm up, I'm up - almost eight hours of sleep and have answered e-mails and will shortly begin futzing and finessing.
-
We still don't know the subject DR DRUXY....were any of our guesses correct?
No.
;)
-
And we had a breakthrough today!
Annabelle in the past has always turned down most of the Fancy Feast fish menu except for salmon and occasionally tuna, but she's been eating this week the tuna, salmon, and shrimp Temptations treats. So, I went to the corner bodega and picked up several different Fancy Feast fish dishes. My first try tonight was the grilled salmon-mackerel combo, and she ate it. Thatch sorta ate it, but Annabelle ate all of hers. At least she's back to food, which I'm sure has more nutrients than the treats, and eating again. I can breathe easier.
-
No word from Joshie. I'm waiting to hear what time we begin tomorrow's orchestra reading.
-
For obvious reasons, I don't like to reveal the subject of these plays before they are done.
-
Futzed and finessed, wrote two new pages, and shall now be on my way to the mail place and to get some food of some sort. I do have a hankering for Chinese food, actually.

Very good news, Larry!

Today's Daily News cover. I will be so glad when this petty little dictator and his scumbag family are shot down.
-
I laughed at that one, too, Elmore.
-
I want to go home soon.
-
Found a credit card today. Cant find the person it belongs to.

Not to get political, but DITTO!! ::)
;)
-
Good evening.
-
Fascinating day. Not really. I picked up a package we got back from Europe saying the address wasn't complete - not sure how that can be but the helper doesn't return until Saturday.
-
I'd already decided to satisfy my craving for Chinese food so I'd done some research and found a really well-reviewed place on Yelp that was on the way home. First I did some banking, thanks to a not huge but very nice residual from The Faculty - so a little sweet to combat the sour, and much appreciated. When I got to the Chinese place I realized that I'd been there many times because it was a favorite of Muse Margaret. But I'd read on Yelp that there were new owners, but other than a few grousing reviews it was all raves.
-
I ordered some orange chicken (extra crispy), a small thing of cashew chicken, and some string beans. And white rice, of course.
-
I came right home with it and ate two nice big helpings. It's not as good as its former self but was fine and hit the spot. No one does orange chicken like Genghis Cohen and this didn't even come close. The cashew chicken was pretty good but the green beans weren't much to my liking and nowhere as good as Genghis. I have plenty left, should I get hungry later.
-
Well $334 and some cents later I now have a new phone
-
Tonight I made chicken francaise, rice pilaf and steamed broccoli for dinner
-
It came out pretty darn good considering I made it up as I went along
-
Sweet to sour vibesfor bk
-
I also called cape canaveral and made s reservation for lunch with an astronaut and atour.
-
I was warned that if the government shutdown doesn't end there will be no tour
-
I'm home. No dancing tonight. Joy's suffering from the cedar crud that's hurting me, just not as bad.
-
Had a hankering for Salvadoran food. I think I ate too much. Helote con crema (a corn tamal with sour cream), pupupsas with chicharron and queso, and churros.
-
Watching A Christmas Story Live. I'm not a fan. In the first half-hour, there were at least two musical numbers that were lip-synced.
-
George, did you see this? Was it the version you staged? Or did you stage the earlier version?
-
George, did you see this? Was it the version you staged? Or did you stage the earlier version?
I did see it and didn't love it, but enjoyed it for what it was. That TV version made changes from the stage version, which we did. I would assume that it won't ever be changed to match the TV version.

I have a bootleg of the stage version and couldn't watch that all the way through. I like Maya Rudolph in this version. And Jane Krakowski.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Vibes of comfort to Jrand and family.
-
Bruce, you may find that the nearby Chinese restaurant does some dishes really well, even if they aren't quite Genghis Cohen.
-
Vixmom, I hope you're happy with your new phone and it serves you well for many years.
Did you upgrade?
-
I think you got a great deal on your new glasses. My clear progressive cost me $850 (expensive frame, the only one I could find that fit my face well, plus I went to the high-quality optician, who does things right and stands behind their work). My progressive sunglasses were $200 AFTER the insurance benefit (low-cost frame plus the so-so optician). These were not right from the start and still aren't, but I have to live with them for another year.
-
Costco does indeed have excellent prices on glasses, but they only offer one type of lens--their own--and not everyone can wear it.
-
I've been wrestling with a tax issue that I'm trying to make sense of. It's a situation I've never encountered before. I'll be trying a new accountant, too. I tried a new one last year, but didn't like him. It didn't seem to matter to him that some of the numbers might not be correct, even though it could make a big difference in how much I owe. HE gets paid either way. Ugh.

Well, being in it gave me a different perspective than just watching it, so I really had fun. I liked Maya and Jane in the TV version, and Ana Gasteyer.

Found a credit card today. Cant find the person it belongs to.
I found one lying in the driveway several years ago. I called the manager and she knew who it belonged to. I wonder if the credit card company could help.
-
Health and prosperity vibes to all.
TTFN.
-
I did about six pages total and went to the couch and dozed off for a bit. Now I'll mush on for another four or five, then do the rest later.
-
I have now booked our Lumberton sleepovers

Have fun, Vixmom!
-
And on that note (F#), I'm outta here! I want to do a little shopping, then I'll head home.
Be back later.

I have now booked our Lumberton sleepovers
Yay!!!

I was thinking that later. The new chip cards cost about $5 apiece, so many companies are eager not to have old ones thrown away.
-
Can we move on?
-
One more post ...
-
Four!
-
I have finished A Christmas Story Live. I did enjoy the Santa sequence, but the whole thing was irritating because it was so slavish to the original, but without the wicked originality that Bob Clark brought to that movie.
-
I have just started Christopher Robin, but I doubt I will stick with it. It's a little thick.
-
I submitted a review of A Carol Christmas, but it hasn't posted. I wonder why.
-
A review I wrote after it of Something for the Boys has posted.
-
I did buy Something from amazon.
-
I think I'm going to go finish the Jack London biography.
-
I found an oddity the other day at CD Exchange: Robert Siodmak's The Devil Strikes at Night about a serial killer during the Third Reich. Based on a true story, it appears to have been the case of a man who killed 80 women over more than 10 years. Hitler said it couldn't be so and that it should never take the police that long to find a murderer, so they sent the officer who captured the killer off to the front. Gruesome.
-
I also called cape canaveral and made s reservation for lunch with an astronaut and atour.
I'd read that as an astronaut and a trout. What you're really doing sounds much better.
-
Thirteen pages so far and definitely two or three more coming before I go to bed. I'm in a section where there's a lot of dialogue and that always goes faster in terms of page count. So I'm taking a break and waiting for a call with some details I need for the section I'm in.
-
Good evening.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
#102?
-
At 11:20 p.m.?
-
Where is everyone?
-
I slept clear thru the night last night, even though I had slept thru the entire evening.
-
I guess I was really tired.
-
I missed the old actors lunch because I was all stopped up this morning.
-
The wife of one of the actors is very ill, so any sign of a virus or bacteria, we need to bow out of lunch.
-
Of course, that doesn’t mean someone else in the public restaurant can’t pass on some germs (waitress, cook, neighboring table), but we are off the hook.
-
I felt fine by noon, but it was a bit late by then.
-
Denny’s new special is eggs, bacon, pancakes AND French toast! Isn’t that a bit of overkill?

Welcome to Denny's!
-
;)
-
Tonight, I went shopping at Fred Meyer, both in Lacey and Tumwater.
-
Sorry, I just saw one of their commercials.
-
Tom, don't you dare get sick! I has spoken!
-

Anything to take your money.
-
Kevin Hart is going to be on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight.
-

Oh, I’m not going to get sick.

I have to get ready to go on vacation.
When do you leave?
Very very very (that is 3 verys) early on the morning of the 26th.
-
Basically two weeks from Friday night.

And you have to get ready now??

;D
-
Basically two weeks from Friday night.
And you have to get ready now??
No, I said I don’t have time to get sick.
-
And I have a million things to do before I go.
-
I have doctors appointments, lawyer appointments, accountant appointments, etc., etc.
-

No, I said I don’t have time to get sick.
But you also said, "I have to get ready to go on vacation." So as a joke, I asked if you had to get ready now.
-
You two bad boys, we are awaiting A Carol Christmas reviews.
-
I have doctors appointments, lawyer appointments, accountant appointments, etc., etc.
Those certainly are things that need to be dealt with before you leave.
-
Oh, boys...
-
Don't post until I lock this damn thing.
