Morning!  Sitting on the couch watching the latest episode of the tragicomedy called "The Morning News is while husband Joe snoozes away,, wondering if he 'll be up to pick up our humongous  mower cum  snow blower  from 7 Gables [evidently the owner of the repair shop is an English Lit major.]

I slept quite poorly last night.  At 6:15 I got up, putzed about, fed the cats and went back to bed.  I'm way too lazy these days, and I hope my batteries aren't running down.  I hope instead that it's depression from too little work or my body trying to shake off this everlasting cold.

DR JANE I'm sorry I didn't remember you watched A Place to Call Home, too.....or whatever it's called.....chemo brain, I guess.

When someone posts about a program that's on one of the streaming services, I usually don't pay a LOT of attention since I have none of them.....and if it sounds interesting, I am down that I can't see it.....

This How To Succeed . . . project should be going much easier than it is.  I keep finding things in the first edit of the piano-conductor score that should have been corrected in the full score second edit, which should be the source of the P-C, and that are not.

I did my taxes today.....but they can't be filed until Jan. 30.....or something like that....I don't owe the Feds anything and the State of Indiana has to give me back some money....so that's good.

We are feeling very sad right now.  Keith just got off the phone with his older cousin in Vegas.  While we were traveling his younger sister passed away.  His son had posted she was in the hospital and Keith messaged asking about her.  We thought she had gone home.  They kindly kept the news from us until tonight. On our last two visits to Vegas she was not up to seeing us :(

I still remember walking outside during lunch in high school and this girl I didn't know walking up and introducing herself as Keith's cousin. She must have heard he had a girlfriend and seen us together.  I always appreciated her approaching me, something I probably would have been too shy to do.

That summer I took a seat in class when the girl next to me leaned over and introduced herself as Keith's cousin.  This time from his mother's side of the family.  I always liked that cousin too.  Sadly she is also gone.

It's bad enough when someone who everyone know is rotten creates trouble.  Like with Ann Miner, people basically said she's just a rotten so-and-so, so it wasn't as awful.  And people actually tried to help me with issues about her. 

But Julie seems to be quite beloved, so the feeling when she turned was "it must be you because Julie is sweetness and light."

There are people who won't lift a finger to help, which is sad enough.  But Julie has turned out to be an actively malevolent person, which I have to say was one of the big nasty surprises of 2018.  I know that on the Tuesday of our music rehearsals in our apartment last January, the cast recalls Julie and I were working fabulously together, handling dialogue adjustments .  Wednesday was  also music rehearsals in our apartments and a venue tour, but Julie did not attendant of the Wednesday work, but Thursday morning something had changed about her.
