I will leave here this morning between 9:00 and 9:15 for 27th Street, my old home, to see my accountant, whose office is next door to Toyland. His office was 1003A and Toyland was 1003B. They tell me the new tenants are nice but we were noisier and more fun. I will sign my tax forms to be submitted electronically and pay them, then head up to City Center to begin my latest round of work with Joshie on Act Two of I Married an Angel.
Oh, my. This is how our MD closed his last email to us:
I should also tell you that Waiters Galop is getting a complete re-write, so don’t bother looking at that one.
What in the HELL?

That's one of my favorite pieces in the score! WTF?

WTF, indeed. I can’t even imagine what that’s all about. And I may not know until we meet in two weeks.
As I said my doctor's visit was nice and he is an interesting guy....so we shall see.....

Here’s hoping BK’s [title of book] works out to everyone’s satisfaction!
Here's a title: "What I Ate Last Night"
The last of the Cincinnati chili. It was a wistful moment when I opened the cupboard and saw that it would be bare once I removed the last can, which happened to be Gold Star. (I bring back equal amounts of Skyline and Gold Star.) I heated it up tenderly, lovingly, and it was thoroughly delicious. But it also makes great leftovers, and since I stopped at one plate last night, there's a serving in the fridge which will be today's lunch. And that's it until I get over there again in late spring / early summer.
I'm nearly out of Vernors, too.
See, this is why one DRIVES to Cincinnati. You need to be able to load up a car with this stuff. :)

I never love these, but here's a li'l video blurb for the Gentleman's Guide I'm seeing on Sunday:

(Oh God. She said 'soundtrack'.)
DR CHAS SMITH - is this a "community" theatre which means GGTM is released for us out here in the hinterlands?
Tonight, my sister wants me to come over and help put up these little shelf units so that cats to climb up walls. They're smaller than regular shelves, so they should be pretty easy to mount on the wall, and I don't think she has too many to put up.
Stormageddon has arrived in Tacoma.

Before I step out I must call my HMO. There's something fishy going on. I mailed a payment on Jan. 19, and it's never cleared the bank. I mailed a payment on Jan. 31, and that has not cleared either. In the past I've seen payments clear three days after posting so what's going on? I could blame the cold vortex for one of them but not for both!

DR TCB, I wish I could send you cookies to tide you over. How is Nicky feeling?

And Tumwater, too!

A little better now that he has his pain medication.
I put animal crackers in my cookie jar.
Update: the Admin decided to close our building at 2:00, instead of 3:00 pm. So, I get an even earlier lunch.
Be back later!
As I typed, the snow has slowed down.

It does not mention "Two for the Road". It is my favorite film of his, and Audry Hepburn.
As I said my doctor's visit was nice and he is an interesting guy....so we shall see.....
The HMO has received no check payments which possibly means the post office is behaving more ineptly than usual/
It is 15 degrees. I am making chicken and noodles for this weekend....Barnum seems nervous that I am cooking one of his cousins.
Surviving the snow vibes for our upper left coast posters.....
I woke up around 3 am and couldn't go back to sleep until it was almost time to get up. What kind of cruel joke is that?

I hate that. I feel better now making it to 4:30

So, I didn't go to Eagan's after I left work.
I just came home, made myself some low-carb pancakes and eggs (simple, but quite delish), and now I'm watching last Monday's America's Got Talent.

Did you go to your sister's?
I had some chicken tenders - really kind of yuckilicious today. Picked up packages. Home.
DR vixmom, DR Jan said it perfectly last night. Your kindness and generosity frighten me.♥️

I'm up, I'm up - eleven hours of sleep and I've missed the entire day - cannot do that again. I was up at two-fifteen. Haven't heard from the person about the book and am hoping the e-mails went into his spam folder since he's AOL.

I have now found that Burger King delivers. This is dangerous news. :)
I've never had fast food delivered. Fred, was it through something like Uber Eats, or does Burger King (not our very own BK ;) ) deliver themselves?
Hail and snow here in Austin.
It's 33° in Tumwater, right now.
I had to stop for dinner on the way home. Enjoying enchiladas verdes with rice and beans. Happy.

Is it snowing?
She looks beautiful. Thanks for the photo.
And there is basically no traffic in my bedroom, either.
