Well, you've read the notes, the notes remembered Nick, and now it is time for you to post until the remembering cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: ABECEDARIAN!
-
Hello.
-
First Second post after BK.
-
Lovely notes, BK.

ASK BK DAY:
Now that you are set up at a better venue (where you are more appreciated) do you feel more inclined to keep doing the Kritzerland shows, or are you stil planning to bring them to a close?
-
George, did Margo see both parts of ANGELS?

George, did Margo see both parts of ANGELS?
She ushered for it, but only one part. I forget which part.

George, did Margo see both parts of ANGELS?
Oh, I guess George went to bed.

I guess he didn’t.

Part two is four hours long!!
-
Hard to fathom that the short part is only three and one half hours long.
-
Very moving notes tonight.

Part two is four hours long!!
I know! I saw a staged reading of it (without any "special" costumes) at Olympia Little Theatre, where Bunbury is happening right now.
-
And I also saw both parts at ACT back in the '90s...I think.
-
Goodnight, George.
-
Good night, Jane.

Good night, Tom.

The current plan is to do our 100th show in August, followed by our ninth anniversary show in September. Then we won't be back until December. After that it will be four to five shows a year.

It sounds like Nick Redman's memorial service was lovely. I am sorry for your loss, BK
-
Good morning, all.
-
A lovelier than lovely set of notes for dear Nick. Thank you, BK.
-
Good morning, all!
-
It's quite chilly this morning, so I fed the cats and went back to bed. Around 7:45, Annabelle crawled under the blankets with me, and Thatch spent the next 45 minutes debating whether to join her or to jump on and off the bed and clim all over our sleeping forms. I had dreams about working at Goodspeed anmd orchestrating a production of Take Me Along. I also had a dream about DR Ginny, Richard and me wandering about a huge library - at one point the Middletown Public, at another the old Miami University Library - looking for aq copy of James Barrie's The Little Minister.
-
DR JRand68, happy news on your health! Fantastic.
-
Nick's memorial sounds quite lovely.
-
Thanks, everyone.....yes we are pleased with the result.
-
Enjoyed reading about the memorial very much.....a tear came to my eye....
I guess some of us are at the age that these things happen more and more often.....
-
Very pleased about Jrand's health.
-
Not sure why I'm up after three hours of sleep.
-
Happy Birthday, Allison Hayes!!!

Some people don't notice that her dog Cyndi is also in the photo....

Good morning to all
-
A very nice remembrance of Nick Redman.
It was nice to see that the Academy had him on their website in the remembrances.

Update
I'm slowly getting better. I am now working five-hour shifts up from four. till building my leg strength back up so I can get to my usual eight.
Been doing weight watchers and as of yesterday, I've lost 28lb which makes it easier to be on my feet for longer periods of time. Exercising at the gym has also helped. I want to lose at least 20lbs more even though at that weight the BMI says it's still an unhealthy weight.
-
Update #2
The Marvin Hamlisch I'm working on has its first booking April 1, 2020, and looking to book more in the same geographical area.
Update #2A
The Allan Carr play has its director and actor and will be performed in June in Fort Lauderdale as part of a theater festival. No date yet. We are also in talks for a subsequent production in Tampa.
Update #2B
An actress I am sure everyone knows or at least recognizes her name on this site has come aboard as an associate and has suggested an award-winning British actor who is also well-known stateside for the title role. We also suggested another actor that she knows and has worked with and she says he be perfect for it. Sorry for the blind item but can't name names yet as we haven't got to that level in the production process.
-
My dear friend Rob Berman's wonderful father Howard has died. He had a long life, and he was a very dear man. I will miss him.
-
Sorry to hear that, DR Elmore.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Glad the memorial went, BK. Continued vibes of peace and comfort.
-
Good morning.
-
A day to catch up.
-
Thanks, everyone.....yes we are pleased with the result.

VIBES OF STRENGTH AND HEALING FOR DR MICHAEL!

Wednesday morning greetings! My busy-ness continued Monday and Tuesday with ladies' events, but now I have 3 days with NO commitments. I've been puttering and shoveling out piles of junk mail.

Condolences to Rob Berman and all who love Howard...
-
BK, thank you for sharing about Nick's memorial. Sounds just right...
-
My condolences DR elmore.

DR Elmore, you know we'd wander around a huge library with you any time! I also dreamed about wandering around a big city with Richard last night, but I think it was San Francisco.
-
So glad to see promising health reports from DRs JRand and Michael!

That's pretty cool, too! Good luck with all of this!

My SEALED copy of the origial cast recording of DAWGS!, with a score by the Sherman Brothers has arrived!
-
I don't have my record player hooked up, so it'll be a while before I can listen to it. I have no idea what it's like. I hope it's at least fun! Does anyone know anything about this?
-
My dear friend Rob Berman's wonderful father Howard has died. He had a long life, and he was a very dear man. I will miss him.
Larry, my condolences to you and Rob and Howard's family.
-
I don't know from DAWGS!

Condolences to Rob and his family.....and to DR ELMORE.

PAGE THREE!

My sister Molly and I are trekking down to the Goodwill Store about 5 p.m. It is Senior Day with a 30% discount on this and that......
-
SNOW starting at noon tomorrow and lasting until Friday morning....March!
-
I was going to get a battery for my watch and ask to have it installed ... but there was No ONE at the jewelry counter to help me. I stood there for a few minutes - and on my way to the Service Center to ask them call someone....I passed a rack of watches for $7.88 each....so I bought a new watch instead.....
-
It's probably a Rollex or a Bolivia.

Keith just fixed the problem that was preventing my computer from connecting to the internet.
-
He then did something so my tablet would connect again.
-
Coincidentally my phone only had 1 bar so I couldn't use that to connect. Odd though, as soon as I could get back on the internet with my other 2 devices the bars on my phone jumped to 3.
-
All is good now.

Oops. I totally forgot that I watched both season 1 and 2 back to back. So I have seen both seasons that are on dvd. And I really liked both seasons.
-
Thanks DR JANE and good news about your computer and tablet.
-
Revue vibes for MR BK & Co.
-
Two - count them - two hockey games are on tonight!!!
DR GEORGE did you like the Whiskey Cavalier show? I thought about watching it, but haven't yet.
-
Hello, guest!
-
Thanks DR JANE and good news about your computer and tablet.
Thanks. I had no doubt Keith could fix the problem. I just haven't a clue. He shuts something off to do with the wireless and then restarts it.
Sure was odd, or just bad timing, though that my phone wasn't connected either.

We were just ok with it. My hairdressing couldn't remember the name of the show she liked but I knew it was Whiskey Cavalier-lol
My bother said he was going to watch the 2nd episode. I don't think Keith wants to.

I enjoyed it. It has that back and forth banter and, of course, the leads will have the requisite not-so-subtle sexual tension, but I thought it was pretty good. I'll have to watch more to see if is actually good, or if it'll end up being too much of the same old same-old and annoying me.
-
I wait for reports of the second episode.
-
It has been a day of heavy snow flurries, or as Keith said light snow that doesn't stick.
-
Well, I need to leave work and go to the theater. Tonight is the last night without an audience. Tomorrow is the invited final dress! I'm sure that it'll be wonderful! ;D
Be back later!
-
I wait for reports of the second episode.
I should put on my glasses. I thought it said "second grade."

Let's move on ...
-
Four!
-
Watching Fritz Lang's You and Me, a strange and interesting melodrama/noir/quasi-musical. It opens with a killer Kurt Weill song about paying for what you want. George Raft and Sylvia Sidney star with a great cast of top character actors.
-
Turning in.

Good night, all.

Back from a rather spectacularly successful evening at Vitello's. Tonight's show was everything the last iteration wasn't, at least from my point of view. Last time we had one performer who I felt brought a very negative energy to the show as well as some less than sharp performing of the staging. This time we had Kerry O'Malley, who was always meant to do it, and she brought the opposite - sharp, great, positive energy and what a difference that made. Plus we lost two numbers that were replaced by much stronger material. Other than a couple of fumfers, it was a pretty perfect show. The laughs were ear-splitting and constant and the cast was pretty much on fire. I wasn't thrilled last time at having the head mics, which I felt was the wrong vibe for it - here we had five mics on stands, plus one wireless mic for two numbers. That was so much better - all lyrics heard much more easily. Better and brighter lighting, too. The structure worked really well with the new numbers placed really well. I was very proud of everyone. More in the notes. Oh, and yesterday we were at sixty-eight people, but tonight it was completely sold out. We'll be bringing it back to Vitello's and I hope it can be somewhat regularly.

Congratulations!

Good evening.

This morning I woke up feeling dizzy and sick to my stomach.

I finally sent my regrets about missing lunch and went back to bed.

I stayed in bed all day and all evening.

How was rehearsal?
It went pretty darned well! There were a few technical goobers, but nothing horrible. It'll all be smooth tomorrow night, which is our final dress preview with invited guests...basically, anyone who wants to show up. Wanna see it for free...if you're up to it??
-
Thanks, but I doubt I will leave the house tomorrow.
