Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a little loco en la cabeza, and now it is time for you to post until the loco en la cabeza cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: RESURRECTION!
-
So...why am I the first one to post after BK? Jan, you need to post just a few more times and become a Hero Member!
-
I'm home now and in my bed, but not ready for sleep, yet.
-
I was waiting for you to come back.
-
What's your next theater related thing?
-
Do I get prizes, a party, anything for becoming a hero member.

Good night, Tom.

Not to get too political, but a couple of days ago, my sister's boyfried posted this Borowitz Report (if you've never heard of him, he does satire, kind of like The Onion (https://www.theonion.com)):
Sarah Huckabee Sanders Accuses Media of Anti-Liar Bias (https://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/sarah-huckabee-sanders-accuses-media-of-anti-liar-bias)!
:))
-
Well...

I am watching the Finals in tennis at Monte Carlo......the leader Fabio Fognini is a hothead sneaky snake player and he will probably win...his opponent is Lajovic.....from Serbia.....

Congratulatiobs DR Jan! 🎉🎈🎉

Good morning, all!

DR Jane--to answer your question: no tornadoes!
Good and thanks for reporting.

DR Jane--have a great time in Alaska!
Thank you. Do you know where we really are?

Another bad night of headaches and sinus issues began around 3:30. I even held off feeding the cats till 7:30, but I was glad to get back to bed for another two hours.
-
We missed a second clock in the hotel room and unfortunately that was the on with a 6am alarm set. For once we were both sound asleep.
-
Sorry DR elmore.
-
After the litter and patrol, I will go to the market for more deli turkey. I also need eggs. When I've settled, I need to sort all the accumulated mail and get to work on paying bills and getting into these Moross scores.
-
At the moment I wait for two checks, the recording of The New Yorkers and the San Francisco choral arrangement, and I have nop idea when I will see either of them. I hate being in cash flow hell.
-
DR TCB, that Follies recording featuring a Bad Performance by Former Friend, was produced by another former friend. The new London recording, however, has orchestrations by two very good friends.
-
So much for pissing and moaning. Annabelle has another new hiding place so I must track her down before we patrol.
-
Getting the check vibes for DR ELMORE.
Continued traveling vibes for DR JANE & KEITH.
-
Last night on TCM's film noir program.....the film WOMAN ON THE RUN was shown....its ending was filmed at Ocean Park which MR BK has mentioned many times....
In 1950, we see some kind of Ball emporium....the sign is vertical and I couldn't read it.....right next to The Rocket roller coaster.....very interesting....a few shots of the midway.....
-
Star Ann Sheridan takes a few laps on The Rocket.....
-
Good morning, all.
-
On the one hand, there's finishing the hat.
On the other hand, there's getting the check.
-
Kristi and Nathan are off to spend the day at the Bronx Zoo. I'm here to spend my day on these last several songs.
That didn't happen yesterday due to our finally getting off'n our butts and moving two sets of "wall unit" shelving -- which haven't been used well or done anybody any good in recent times -- out of the living room and off to the thrift store. I originally bought them for my Redondo Beach apartment and they served me very well over the next couple of decades. But it's been time to move on from them, as they no longer serve any of their original purposes, and weren't serving new ones either. We need the space and some new thinking to go along with it.
-
BK asked: Can people screen shot a Blu-ray? It would be wonderful to have that shot.
I think it just requires plugging an external Blu-ray drive into the computer, then using BD-playing software that includes a snapshot or capture button.
Anybody know for sure?
I've been thinking of getting one to eventually be able to burn Blu-rays, but it's still on my "one of these days" list.

Thank you

Patrol was a complete disaster. When we left the apartment. Annabelle was ahead of me. I said to her, wait for Daddy, before I turned to toss the garbage down the chute. I stepped out of the trash closet, and she was gone! I walked down the hall and she was nowhere in sight. Did she go up the stairs or down?
And this began 15-30 minutes of terror/ I called her, and I could hear her answer from somewhere, but I couldn't place whjere the sound came from. I walked up to five, calling for her. I rodfe the elevator to each floor, calling for her. Occasionally she would answer. Since she has no sense of direction, I though I might find her trying to get intro 5C, 4C, or 2C.
A nice lady from 5B walked down the stairs and called out from each floor, not here. One of the nice lesbian coup[le of five who owns the cute little dog Nola, helped me look. When I called her I heard nothing/ I started to panic. Then this rude young man who lives on four or five and is never friendly came dancing down the steps and out to the street, and I started worrying that he had done something like throw her down the garbage chute, so I ran to the chute and called her name down it. Nothing.
-
I rode the elevator back up to five and walked down, checking each floor and calling. When I almost got to three, she called me. I went to my apartment hoping she'd be at the door. She wasn't. I turned to the elevator and I heard her again. she was in the trash closet. She must have followed me into it when I dumped the garbage and I locked her in.
Of course, as soon as she was out, she wanted to play tag and I had to chase her all over the third floor.

The joys of having a cat 😊🤣
-
Holy moley, DR Elmore! That was a story and a half.
-
What a story DR ELMORE! Whew!
-
DR CHAS SMITH I am sure your shelf units will make someone very happy and be just the thing needed.
Did you Dymo them so posterity will know from whence they came?
-
Ah I watched the noir movie again this morning.....it is The Scooter, not some kind of Schoo....ball.....it's next to The Whip.....
-
What a story DR ELMORE! Whew!
Whew, indeed. I was very relieved to reach the end of that one.
-
DR CHAS SMITH I am sure your shelf units will make someone very happy and be just the thing needed.
Did you Dymo them so posterity will know from whence they came?
I haven't had a Dymo label maker in many years, DR Jrand68. But I did still have an old wood burning kit, so I got that heated up and carved my Social Security number into each one. No name or anything, just a clever and - I think - subtle and playful clue for some diligent puzzle solver to employ when tracing the provenance of these lovely pieces. Don't you think that was a nice touch?

Wait, you didn't include your bank account numbers too? Canceling my trip to the thrift store
-
LOL DDR VIXMOM......yes DR CHAS SMITH that was most clever and will bring joy to some mystery solver someday.
-
I still have a photo album of a maiden lady's trip to Rome from 1964....several photos of sites and I think I know which one she is from ONE photo.....bought at a thrift store....about 10 b/w snapshots....I wonder where it is?
-
By noon I had the worst headache, so I took two Tylenol and lay down for a while. Thatch joined me for a bit. I'm now heading off to the market.
-
I'm up, I'm up - I think I may have gotten nine hours of sleep.
-
Had a telephonic call from Sami. Can't talk about it yet, but it's good news and I guess I was a little helpful.
-
Have I mentioned that I'm up.
-
Fighting allergies, too, but hoping I don't have to Claritin-D it today.
-
Easter afternoon greetings! Richard and I went to church in Dayton and came home to prepare Easter dinner for our former housemates. They’re due in about 10 minutes, with both cars. They’ll load up odds ‘n’ ends and we’ll eat about 4.
-
Happiest of birthdays to Keith!
-
Keith is OLD! Oh, wait - I'm older.
-
Come December, I will be old.
-
Happy birthday, Keith!
-
Got a small amount of chicken enchiladas from Gelson's and some seafood salad, came home, ate it, and am now listening to music, after which I'll resume writing the commentary. I got a third of the way through before I left.
-
Thank you all for your kind congratulations. I am happy to join your ranks.
-
Good evening.
-
A nice quiet day today after the early morning rush.

;D
-
Happy birthday, Keith!
Thanks.
-
We began the day at Roslyn Cafe where breakfast was even better than dinner last night.
-
Then we returned to the Cicely gifts where we each purchased a Northern Exposure sweatshirt.
-
We missed Bryan asking if we were up before he crashed for the day. Those night shifts make it difficult to talk on days he is working.
-
Back in our room we video chatted with Craig.
-
We did a walking tour of the town including the very interesting cemetaries, 26 mini cemeteries from the coal mining days. Each nationality had their own cemetary.
-
We then attempted to find Ruth Ann's house. The drive was beautiful, however, the road to her house was closed due to snow.
-
We just got off the phone with friends. They thought we were in Cicely, Alaska ;D
-
Thank you all for your kind congratulations. I am happy to join your ranks.
Once upon a time you would have been a god....but we all lost our diety statuses when BK changed providers
-
Elmore I am glad the patrol story had a happy ending
-
Happy birthday to Keith. It sounds like a a lovely birthday weekend
-
Dinner went very well
-
Fortunately for Vixdad he brought his iPad with him as my mom and I both took unexpected naps after dinner
-
We woke when my brother rang the doorbell
-
He left his inlaws and stopped by to say hi and have dessert with us
-

We ate dinner at the Brick Saloon, the oldest continuously operated bar in Washington.
-
We had superb rye Manhattans along with a large plate of nachos. We split a big salad for dinner.
-
I must say the food, and service, in this little town is very good.
-

The joys and terrors!!

Game of Thrones is on tonight...actually, in just a few minutes.

I need to watch some talk show interviews that I've recorded so that I can delete them to also make room for the five, count 'em, FIVE town halls that will be shown on CNN tomorrow night.

And now...

It was Winegar's ice cream from Ellensberg.
-
Good night.
-
Tried to watch something but fell asleep. Then I went to Gelson's and got some small snacks and now I'm nauseous. Go know.
-
Commentary is finished and I'll finesse it at some point. Also, we added Ilene Graff to the show, so she'll be doing two songs.

Which direction does she lean?
-
I hope we will eventually find out Sami’s news. I just hope, for Jrand’s sake, Sami didn’t land the first Tony nomination at HHW.
-
Hello 0 members AND 0 Guests.
-
I hope it was a joyful Easter and Passover for all those who celebrate.
-
I never ventured outside today, although it was beautiful out.
-
I did reestablish an old Easter tradition of watching Franco Zeffirelli’s JESUS OF NAZARETH mini-series.
-
Actually, I used to split the four parts over two days, but I got a late start.
-
So, I skipped Part One (mostly the Nativity) and started with Part Two when Jesus is baptized by John the Baptist.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
My WIFI is starting to slow down.
-
Does anyone else remember bac in the old days when you had to get online through Dial-Up? And on weekends and holidays, it could take forever to get online.
-
Hi, jan.
-
Hi, George.
-
My WIFI is starting to slow down.
Hopefully, it'll be better at your new place.
