Well, you've read the notes, the notes were musical, and now it is time for you to post until the MOOsical cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: VIGESIMAL!
-
First post after BK!
-
Topic of the Day: the Memorial Edition of the Japanese cast recording for the 10,000th performance of the Japanese production of CATS (http://castalbums.org/recordings/Cats-2019-Japanese-Cast/41044/). I actually got it from Japan's Amazon site (https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07PLSFQMR/), and it only took all of 10 days to get it. ;D
-
I've also recently gotten some other CDs, but they're at work, so I don't remember exactly which ones they are. I'll post about them when I get to work.
-
And on that note (C#), I'm off to bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning.
-
Here I am, wide awake.
-
It is Friday, May 3, 2019

Today
is was my mother’s birthday.
-
She would have been 103 today.
-
But she never got the chance.
-
The women in her family all lived long lives.
-
My grandmother, her mother, died four months short of her 100 birthday.
-
Sorry about that. I dnon’t know what set me off on that line of thinking.
-
Probably better than thinking about the disappearing condo.
-
Nicky is out like a trout.
-
I have been reading this LGBT love story on my Kindle.
-
Actually I thought it was a love story, but it is actually borderline porn.
-
I guess Amazon actually does have everything you could ask for.
-
Have a good day, all.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning all

Condo vibes for TCB
-
Pain free vibes for Elmore
-
I recently got a copy of George Antheil’s mystery, Death in the Dark, published under the pseudonym Stacey Bishop. I haven’t had time to start it.
-
Thank you, all, for the vibes. I’m nervous, but it’s not like I dislike my job. I’m just flattered to be headhunted.
-
Listening to Dearest Enemy. Here in My Heart has such a beautiful melody.
-
Off to work.
-
But first...
-
Two!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Well, it's Friday.
And that can mean only one thing for those playing a two-weekend show. We're back at it tonight and all day tomorrow, closing tomorrow night.
-
TOD
Again, nothing in the player(s). This dry spell will end on Sunday or Monday, depending on how free Sunday turns out to be.
But I did watch episodes 3 & 4 of FOSSE/VERDON last night. Enjoyed these two in spite of those moments you have to shake your head. It was just the perfect thing for me to relax in front of. I was surprised to find the proceedings veering so strongly into ALL THAT JAZZ territory (as far as his suicidal visions are concerned) so relatively early in the series. On the other hand, he probably had to be experiencing that in those years since the making of ATJ would only be a few more years down the road.
Okay, so maybe next week will finally be the one in which I sit down to learning this video transfer software. D'ya think? Will I do it?
-
I have to finish my second cup of coffee and run down to Cat Clinic for Poe's prescription food. Then I can spend a couple of hours getting some keys back into my fingers in preparation for tonight.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I went to bed at 9:30, but the keg pain was so awful that I fell asleep after midnight. I fed the cats at 6:30, sent Joshie an email that I would not be at the aitzprobe today, which bums me out, and went back to bed until Annabelle's antics forced me to rise around 8:30.
-
I hope to spend most of the weekend lying down and putting pressure on this foot for as little as possible.
-
Good morning!
-
Belated happy birthday wishes to DR FJL!

Pain-free vibes for DR elmore.

More pain free vibes for DR ELMORE.

Hooked on Antheil. I think I had that LP.
No...wait....that was Hooked on Disco.....never mind.
-
I was making a meatloaf awhile ago. I was taking the egg out of the carton....I only buy the half dozen carton....and it was stuck....of course it broke.
I took all of the other eggs out and cleaned out the carton.....and then realized I was stepping in EGG on the rug in front of the sink.
That rug is now in the washer......as are my socks.....
-
DR TCB I am sorry your agent has not been on the ball and keeping you properly imformed.
-
Sorry about that. I dnon’t know what set me off on that line of thinking.
You miss her and her death was very hard for you.
-
Probably better than thinking about the disappearing condo.
:(

Cloudy day....but no rain.
-
I'm up, I'm up - almost eight hours of sleep.
-
Darn, if I had realized I was getting my glucose tested yesterday I would have been better about my sugar intake the last few day. It went up 6 points :-[
-
First 20-minute interview lasted 30 minutes. So far, i think there will be a second.
-
I would be working out of the Austin office, which largely works from home.

Nice.

At 3:30 I went down to see if the mail had arrived. There was a notice from the Post Office that a letter delivery had been attempted but there was no one here to sign for it. From the details on the delivery attempt, I believe it's The Check.
I am furious that the asshole postman did not deliver it. I have been home all day and the door bell has not rung. Secondly, I went online for redelivery tomorrow and when I enter the number for the letter, I'm told it does not exist. When I go to USPS tracking and enter the number, I get both the number and the original tracking number. I tried to call the post office. On each call, I got a message, the phone then rang for several minutes, before it cut off. It took 6-8 calls for someone to finally pick up the phone. He was useless. Each time he read back the numbers I gave him, he had them wrong.
But . . . I cannot schedule a damned redelivery.

OH, YES!
I am beginning to feel as though the gods are out to destroy me.
"Whom the gods would destroy they first make mad," Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, 1875.

GRRRRRRRRRRR.....that's terrible DR ELMORE.
-
Good afternoon.
-
Back from picking up two tiny packages and no mail, and then having a bite to eat at Jerry's Deli. I was going to do fast food again, but I don't want to do that more than twice a week. But I had something new today - a chicken burrito and it was very good. Now, I'm home and listening to music and relaxing, getting ready for the big five days ahead.
-
Elmore, a friend of mine was describing terrible pain in the ball of the foot. She was diagnosed with a neuroma.
-
Hugs, TCB. The birthdays of loved ones are always difficult.
-
Elmore, try icing where the pain for 5-10 minutes four times a day.
-
Laura, love the new picture of your chauffeur. ;)
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Continued vibes to DR Elmore.
-
Laura, your grandson looks so BIG! How old is he now?
-
I went to acupuncture today, then to the salad bar. The salad bar has raised their prices, so now on Fridays when I try to guess the cost I'm too low. What's making it so heavy? I kept wondering. It's not any heavier, it's just a higher price per pound. I need to readjust my scale.

TOD:
I've been watching NORTHERN EXPOSURE. I came to it late--the last season--and then, poof! it was over. I always intended to start at the beginning and watch the whole series. That's what I'm doing now. I really liked it when I saw it originally and I really like it now.
-
Have a good weekend, everyone.
TTFN.

John Cullum was wonderful in it. He was the reason I started watching. I stayed for the whole family.

Now you can appreciate our trip to Cicely aka Roslyn.

Had a nice dinner. Brussels sprout salad with bacon and blue cheese, and a lettuce-wrapped burger with fries.
-
I need a nap.
-
A storm has just rolled in. It's raining hard outside. Second storm today.
-
I picked my first tomatillo today. There are many more growing.

Today is the third anniversary of the death of my dear friend Glenn. He lived a great life, but I do miss him. I need to go visit his wife, Mickey, one of the days.
-
Watching the Frisco Kid. Gene Wilder is very good, but most everything else about the movie is tired.

-
What will it take to get off this page?
-
A few more posts, that's what.
-
So, now Gene Wilder is teaching Indians how to dance. It's rather sad.
-
But it's another post.
-
Let's move on ...
-
Four!
-
We watchec BOSCH.
-
And the JUSTIFIED.
-
Two excellent shows.
-
I still haven't seen Bosch. I have my own images of him from the books. It's kinda of like not wanting to see the actor playing Strike in the series C.B. Strike.
-
Watching an odd old family film called All Mine to Give with Glynis Johns and Patty McCormack as a non-bad seed.
-
What season of Justified are you in? I think I watched the first three or four. Nothing was as good as, I think, season two with Margo Martindale.
-
That's it for me.
-
Good night, all.
-
Facebook is completely retarded right now - and they do NOTHING to fix it. NOTHING. I'm simply trying to go to my page to see a comment someone left that has to do with attending Sunday's show. And it won't load. Nothing is loading properly here. Anyone else? I'm telling you here and now, there is a fortune waiting to be made for the first person who comes up with something to take Facebook down in the way they took MySpace down - everyone wants something new and better.
-
And yet, on our simple, humble website, everything is working perfectly, loading perfectly.
-

We are watching season two.
-
Page four? Really?
-

I find when I read the books Titus Welliver has taken over my previoys images of Bosch. I did not realize to what extent until we watched the opening scene of this season. It was so vivid in my memory I insisted to Keith we had already watched it. Nope, I had simply read the book in December.
-
I am very sleepy. With luck I will crash in a few mintes and stay down for the night.
-
Well it's 2 am so of course I gave woken up and can't get back to sleep
-
During the evening when I wanted to be awake I couldn't keep my eyes open
-
What's a girl to do?
-
Tomorrow's I must wash, dry and iron the church linens
-
They are soaking now
-
To remove the wine stains
-
Then I must pop up tochurch to set the altar
-
I also need to go to the grocery to stock up on appple juice for the kiddies for coffee hour
-
We're just about out and the storebrand us on sale for 99 cents a quart
-
I am sure such details have added great depth and beauty to all your lives
-
You're welcome
-
Vixdad is out tomorrow to go to one of his games
-
So I am going to an afternoon paint event
-
I wasn't able to reach my usual paint partner so I may be going alone
-
Good evening.
-
Page 5
-
And good morning to vixmom.
-
No word today from anyone about anything!
-
So, I don’t expect any news this weekend.
-
I hav increased Nick’s pain medicine from every twelve hours to every eight hours.
-
He seems to be feeling better this evening.
-
Although now that it is time for his next dose, he seems to have vanished.
-
But he’ll be back.
-
Good grief! By next Friday they expect our temperature to be over 80 degrees.
-
I know that isn’t very impressive to those of you in California, Arizona, or Texas; but it is record-setting for Washington in May.
-
But, hey, it is global warming!
-
Just ask our Governor, who is currently running for President.
-
But there is no global warming, just ask our president.
-
Hi, Tom and jan.
-
He seems to be feeling better this evening.
Good!
-
Hey, George! How's it going? How is Her Majesty, Queen Neve?
-
You will definitely not want to skip the notes. There were some images I was posting and that reminded me that way back in 2001 there was one short chapter in the Benjamin Kritzer book that I was never able to find a place for and so it went unused. I found it and so for the first time there will be a new little Benjamin Kritzer story to read :)

I forgot to mention the other day how nice it was to see Arnold posting.
-
Hey, George! How's it going? How is Her Majesty, Queen Neve?
I'm doing well and am glad for the upcoming weekend.
-
Neve is sleeping (napping?) right next to me.
-
Hi, Tom, has Nicky turned up?
