Well, you've read the notes, the notes were backwards, and now it is time for you to post until the backwards cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: CHARISMA!

Good morning, all!
-
I forgot I had a meeting this morning, so I'll return later.
-
I can't believe this has happened.
On Facebook, I just attempted to post my daily Susan Cabot photo on my SUSAN CABOT page (She was a former publicity client), and somebody on FB stopped me, saying: "This post goes against our Community Standards on spam."
They also removed it from my page, THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS.
What was the photo?
It was a studio publicity shot of Susan Cabot in a sexy waitress outfit. No nudity or suggestion of nudity, but it did show her shapely legs.
At the moment, if you want to see it, the photo is still up on my personal FB page: https://www.facebook.com/michael.druxman
I've appealed, but...
What's going on here?
-
That is ridiculous. There is nothing wrong with the photo.
-
I fell asleep last night and slept close to 6 solid hours waking at 4:00. I then managed to doze on and off until 6:00.
I wish I knew why my inner clock seems to think I need to wake up close to 4:00.
-
That's a cute photo DR DRUXY....BookFace is strange....
-
I spent a lot....well most....of yesterday downloading articles and photos of my favorite and DR ELMORE's......Allison Hayes. She went on a few whirlwind tours to promote her films....and the photos and comments from the reporters were most amusing.
My favorite was a reporter who wrote that Allison wore a blouse that was so tight, he had trouble breathing.
-
I am also getting a lot of local articles and ads about and for Miss Frances Farmer when she was here in Indianapolis.
My favorite so far was when a reporter called her after she was fired from her television show and asked her if she had a comment.
She replied: "Yes. Goodbye."

The guys in the Kirby Stone Four would do impressions of singers that were hilarious.
Sheila MacRae
Debbie Reynolds could do some wicked impressions.....

Tonight are my tickets to see SHE LOVES ME and two of my sisters are going with me.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Damn it to HELL, I have to go to the car place again. It's just for an oil change, but man, I really didn't need another visit over there today.
Oh well.
-
Ah, here we go. Liza Minelli and Elliott Gould in The Fantasticks at the Coconut Grove Playhouse in Miami. Let's go!
(Who knew? I didn't.)
-
I really have SO much to do today that I need to get going on some of it. Later!
-
Good morning, all.

Tonight are my tickets to see SHE LOVES ME and two of my sisters are going with me.
Sounds like fun. Enjoy.
-
I love this duet by Vicki Lawrence (who had the #1 hit in the 1970s) and Reba McIntire, who had a country hit in the 1990s with the cover version.
"The Night The Lights Went Out in Georgia"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMD5nBcPrCk
I like the different storytelling styles that come together here - that Vicki L. was understated while Reba M. sometimes here seems to be playing to the second balcony of what looks like a studio with six or seven rows.
-
Tonight are my tickets to see SHE LOVES ME and two of my sisters are going with me.
Maybe that could be called THEY LOVE YOU.
-
TOD, in addition to others mentioned:
the late Danny Gans, We saw him by chance in Orlando, before he became prominent in Vegas.
-
And I'm back.
-
I was so tired last night i forgot that I had a breakfast date with my friend Chris. I was just sitting down with my coffee when he texted me "See you soon." I had to move fast to get to 72nd Street.
-
I hadn't seen him in a year so it was great to catch up.
-
Today I have the laundry in the washers, a CD player to set up, and the first serious vacuum job in nearly a year. The place needs it.
-
I finally remembered to purchase white vinegar so I can clean the humidifier and put it away until October. I still haven't decided when I'm taking down Stella's cage.
-
Good morning, good muffin to you
-
Well, the 19th year of teaching music has ended. Kinda surreal today - even though it's Saturday. Trying to get my apartment tidy'd up for the dig sitter, as usual, not very motivated
-
Last night while I was at the symphony, DD Leo (little guy) decided to play a Houdini act and got out of his pen, got in the kitchen and reached a bag of adult treats that were on the counter. He consumed reeces pieces, Ferrero Rocher chocolates. a small bag of trail mix, and some homemade pig candy jerky. Not enough chocolate (mostly sugar) to really worry about etc... today he is hyper - which of course is from the sugar. I'm hoping he hits a wall soon. The "kid" has an iron stomach, he'll bounce back quickly! I told him if he's going to be stupid like that, he's on his own and I'll miss him if he doesn't make it! Sounds harsh, I know - but i'm still paying the emergency vet bill from the Great Drug Bust of 2017.

Page 2 dance!

I have to stop reading HHW on the little phone. I read that as "I fondly remembered to purchase white vinegar." Maybe it was the mention of Stella in the same post?
-
I think as I age of that e-card Elmore sent that had a prominent sign "Wow, you're old." :)
-
Old may be here!!!
-
Or ,maybe I need a bigger phone.
-
Or ,maybe I need a bigger phone.
HHW just needs an app!!
-
I'm up, I'm up - almost seven hours of sleep.
-
Laundry is now in the dryers. I've unpacked and put away the Amazon delivery, and I need to pull some old clothes to dump in the trash when I go down to remove the laundry from the dryers.
-

Would an app make the type size easier to read?

Looks like BK may have just woken up from an app.
-
I love the moment where Melissa Manchester looks almost surprised and delighted that the Solid Gold Dancers showed up to join her for the dance break. :)

Oh, it was a full night's sleep.

Scoped out the sound with my Vitello's sound guy, everything will work fine, and so he'll come on Monday to get it all set up and all anyone will have to do is turn everything on for the shows.
-
Came right home and showered and in thirty minutes we begin rehearsals. Don't know why but I'm feeling a bit queasy this morning.
-
I've set up the new CD player, put the laundry away, and vacuumed. I'm tuckered out.
-
DR FJL that was fun.
-

Thank goodness he texted and you made it in time.

Good vibes he bounces back, and vibes you remember not to leave any food on the counters again.

My tennis shoes are still soaking wet from my walk yesterday. No wonder my feet were sloshing inside of them ;D

Right, but remember he was in a fenced in area, and the kitchen was blocked off. Houdini, I tell you!!!!

Vibes for LEO!

Off in a couple of minutes to pick up my sisters and head to Budapest.

We had a big mystery, why were the cats suddenly dumping the trash from the bathroom and making a mess with it. One day we returned home just as the dog was jumping back into the blocked off kitchen. Unless it is a closed crate I never trust.
We have also had cats open doors and cabinets.

Page TWO? Really?
-
Had a pretty good part two Group Rep rehearsal. I've made some fun moments in numbers that formerly had none, so that's good.
-
Then Peyton, her mom, and I went to Genghis Cohen and had a dining adventure. Peyton has never actually been in a Chinese restaurant before - only Panda Express. So, this was a huge thing. She liked the cashew chicken, loved the garlic chicken, ate most of the sole in ginger sauce, and couldn't eat the orange chicken because of her gluten problem. Mom and I took care of the latter but good. I don't think I've actually ordered the cashew chicken before - it has corn in it, and somehow it kind of makes the dish. I think heretofore it's always been the Kung Pao chicken, but Peyton can't do spicy food.
-
Page three? Really?
-
DR Matthew, how is DD Leo feeling this evening?
-
We had tons of fun. I'm thinking of creating a web series to star Peyton for next year. Kind of a spin-off kind of Welcome to My World thing, but with a normal-sized cast of characters and occasional musical numbers.
-
Where in tarnation IS everyone?
-
Page three is unseemly.
-
You'd think this was a Saturday night or something.

I am with Peyton on spicy food.
In Chinatown Montreal we had a tofu dish that reminded us of Ah Fong's sweet & sour chicken (I can't recall what the official name) It was delicious.

Vibes it works out.

If all goes well Bryan & Kate just might arrive around 11:00 instead of midnight. We only have them here until after brunch but will take what we can get :)
-
I am off to watch something and maybe take a nap.

Same here for spicy food, but the other dishes sound great.
-
Was that four full dishes for three people? In Brooklyn,1970s, I think it was the law tin Brighton nd Coney Island that three or four people shared two dishes.
-
But we did get egg rolls at Jade Pagoda, which have never been equalled in reliable taste in my experience.
-
I actually think they look like they greatly increased the cabbage-to--tasty-stuff in it, maybe because the inside of egg rolls since the 1980s had them thinking people want to eat healthier. But if that were the goal, would they order the egg roll?
-
I recall the egg rolls were great in the era when "With Six You Get EggRoll" came out.
These days, people seeing that title probably wonder why egg roll was ever considered a treat, as opposed to a shredded-veggie burrito.
-
Saturday night in Austin.
Quiet day today.
Did some writing, then we watched a couple of movies: CAPTAIN PHILLIPS w/ Tom Hanks, then THE BODYGUARD with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston.
Both hold up quite well.
-
Home from an odd night of dancing.
-
The main air conditioner was broken and it was 99 degrees outside at 7 p.m. At the table it was hot, too.
-
But on the dance floor with the fans aimed there, it was actually fairly pleasant.
-
But I am sweating.
-
Even though I'm home now.
-
I'm now watching another Agnes Varda film, Mur Mus, a documentary about the murals of Los Angeles.
-
It's a companion film to last night's Documenteur, which wasn't a documentary.
-
I made it to my friend's funeral. I only now just realized that there were no music used in the service. There was music beforehand, but no hymns or anything like that.
-
this afternoon I listened to The Cher Show. Wow, what a mess. The orchestrations are boring. The singing is largely lackluster or, in the case of Stephanie Block, overly imitative. Even Emily Skinner is lackluster.
-
Has anybody else heard it? I wish I had a CD of Cher's Greatest Hits, which I had on vinyl back in the day. It was much better listening than this.
-
Has anybody seen a show from PBS called Mercy Street?
-
The show had a great cast, including Donna Murphy, Norbert Leo Butz, Bryce Pinkham, Patina Miller and more.
-
Both seasons were available on DVD at the Dollar Tree today, so I picked them up.
-
Four!
-
Hi, Jan.
-
How are you feeling tonight?
-
Hi, John, not too bad. What kind of dancing did we do tonight?
-
It was a busy day of errands
-
I had a 3 pm appointment at pep boys to get the oil changed in the van
-
It was supposed to take 30 minutes
-
It took over 2 hours
-
So that kept me from getting a pedicure which quite annoyed me
-
I did get the church set up for last nights service
-
And did the banking
-
Picked up the dry cleaning
-
Stoppe by the Shevardnadze store
-
Really?
-
Stopped by the shoe store gets autocorrected to
Stoppe by the Shevardnadze store ?
-
Picked up a pair of white pumps
-
Went to the phat AMA yesterday
-
I swear I typed I went to the pharmacy
-
I never even attempted to type the word yesterday
-
I think this iPad is alive
-
Which might explain the 5000 enails from the other day
-
Because I gave no idea where they all came from
-
I came home and made dinner
-
Boneless center cut porkchops, seasoned with Penzeys Foxpoint and orange peel
-
Hi, John, not too bad. What kind of dancing did we do tonight?
Only one hustle and only one merengue. Lots of cha-cha, rumba and two-step.
-
Seared and then slowly simmered with skicedpeaches in peach/white wine vinergarette and peach juice
-
Boneless center cut porkchops, seasoned with Penzeys Foxpoint and orange peel
What is Foxpoint?
-
The side dishes were rice pilaf and steamed broccoli
-
Served with peach ice tea
-
Boneless center cut porkchops, seasoned with Penzeys Foxpoint and orange peel
What is Foxpoint?
A google search answered my question: Bursting with the rich flavor of shallots and chives. ... Hand-mixed from: salt, freeze-dried shallots, chives, garlic, onion and green peppercorns.
-

Penzeys makes a variety of spice blends
-
Five!

I love their stuff.
-
The ingredients in Foxpoint are salt, shallots, chives, garlic, onion and green pepper corns
-
I need to get to bed. Church comes too early in the morning.
-
I usually use the salt free options but for the chops I thought some salt was warranted
-
But I'm listening to a fascinating interview with John Huston that I don't want to stop tonight.
-
My favorite of theirs is "sunny Paris". It's purple shallots, chives, green peppercorn, French basil, French tarragon, chervil, bay leaf and dill weed
-
No salt and it smells heavenly
-
I put it on anything and everything, but it's particularly wonderful on egg sandwiches
-
I like to use it as a coating for chicken breasts in lieu of breading
-
I took an unexpected nap in the recliner after dinner
-
Now I must get back to sleep
-
The alarm goes off in 6 hours and it will be another busy day
-
I hope TCB is getting through his move ok
-
Good night
-
Vixmom, do you cook like that all the time?
-
If so, can I come live with you?
-
One week until a short vacation into the Hill Country.
-
I can hardly wait.
-
John, is the merengue difficult to learn?
-
Rather funny to hear John Huston refer to himself as "the old asshole that I am."
-
John, what is the Hill Country?
-
John, is the merengue difficult to learn?
If you can count to 2, then you can dance the merengue. The music is like a march in 2/4 time, and for the woman, or the follower, it's a matter simply of dancing right, left, right, left for the whole song. There's a little more, but it's the dance I like to use to get people out on the floor and to feel good about what they can do.
-
Huston has finished. And now, I am finished, too.
-
Good night, all.
-
It took over 2 hours
:o >:(

I also looked it up but am too tired to read past spice. Thanks for the fine print.
-
John, what is the Hill Country?
Makes me think of the book "Hill Country: A Novel" by Janice Woods Windle.
-
Lady Jane, have you recovered from your galavanting?
-
Has anybody seen a show from PBS called Mercy Street?
No.
-
We finally watched the last 2 episodes of Big Bang Theory. They were very funny and satisfyingly.
-
Topic of the Day:
Frank Gorshin

I have it in my wish list on Amazon because I love Stephanie J. Block, but I haven't gotten it yet.

I remember hearing about it because Josh Radnor was in it, but I didn't know about the others.

I'll have to see if my local Dollar Tree has it. :)

Hi, Tom!
-
Are you all (or at least partially) moved?
