Well, you've read the notes, the notes had another great day, and now it is time for you to post until the great cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: AGGREGATE!
-
We switched while I was posting.
-
Thank you elmore & TCB for your comments regarding COME FROM AWAY.
-
So far, I've watched the first four videos. They're great! I can't wait to finish the others, and to see even more in tomorrow's notes!
-
I've now watched the other three and they're all terrific! I especially like "Sing a New Song," sung by Daniel Bellusci! It makes me wonder when/if there will ever be a BK songbook!
-
And now, I'm off to bed. Tonight, I'm ushering for Menopause: The Musical, so I'll actually get to see it. I forgot to check, but I just hope that I have a clean white shirt to wear. ::)
Have a good day, all!
-
Sigh.
-
Hopefully, I get my Mac back today.
Hopefully, they haven't changed anything.
-
T.O.D.
Back when I was a kid, spending summers in Soap Lake, WA, we used to collect the empty pop bottles from the beach and turn them in for the deposits.
That's how I "financed" my comic book collection.
I was always the businessman. :D
-
Good morning, all.
-
A long and busy day ahead.
-
Enjoyed the videos in the notes!
-
Well, I actually have to get a move on here and might be away from computer till this evening.
May it be a good day for everyone!
-
Good morning, all!
-
This will be a house cleaning day. I need to get the big ladder out and put cases of cat food away and vacuum.
-
Patrol was quite brief and rather messy. Since Stella is determined to flee the apartment to explore whenever I open the door, I thought, Hmmm . . . let's take her on patrol with Annabelle and see what happens. Well, Stella hid behind the bicycle the jerk across the hall continues to leave outside his door - he complains to the landlord if I leave anything outside - and I could not get to her. Then Annabelle couldn't decide what she wanted to do, so she waffled between my door and the elevator. A tenant from an upper floor walked down the stairs and both cats panicked and ran to the apartment door and waited for me to get them out of danger. Oy!
-
Hopefully, I get my Mac back today.
Hopefully, they haven't changed anything.
Fingers crossed.

Loved the videos in the notes....especially Sing a New Song and You Make Me Feel So Young.....most entertaining.
-
Tonight we block Act Three Scene One of Picnic.....getting toward the end.....Act Two looked pretty good last night.....

And then this happened:

I, too, was very glad to see all the videos from the Kritzerland show because Mark was out of town on Sunday and he missed this one. I especially wanted him to see Sami's performance of "Whatever's Good For You" because that's such a wonderful and catchy tune. But I must say the camera didn't quite pick up the sparkling on her dress as much as the human eye could. It was really quite an amazing site. I've seen a lot of sequinned dresses, but this one really took the cake.
I just wish Bruce would have posted videos after the Kritzerland show where he performed, "I Want To Eat Your Face". Bruce's voice was particularly spectacular that night - I think it's the strongest I've ever heard it. So, Bruce, since you're trying to promote your Indigogo campaign for "The Creature Wasn't Nice", why not put that one out there for advertising?
-
Good morning, all.
-
Jane, the color of the olives will change once they are brined. The water cure takes 7-10 days first.
-
I want time to watch the videos. Haven’t got any.
-
I had to put down a pet safe pesticide since the roaches are getting bad, but Stella eats it as soon as I turn my back! Luckily it's edible, but the vacuum terrifies all of the cats, so I'm able to vacuum the excess up while they run in terror.
-
Today is International Cat Day.
Cats across the world are yawning.
-
Slow day at HHW.....
-
TOD:
Nehi Grape.....it had a cactus on the bottle.....I also liked RC Cola.
The thing I remember most about bottle caps is that it hurt like heck when you stepped on one.
For awhile we also drank Double Cola which had coins under the cork in the caps....well DC Coins....I found a dollar one once....and bought two more cartons of Double Cola - which came in an eight bottle carton....
-
Jane, the color of the olives will change once they are brined. The water cure takes 7-10 days first.
Then please post more photos so I can see the changes.

We didn't drink much soda pop when I lived at home. My addiction to Pepsi happened later.
My favorites were 7-Up, Orange Soda, and Pepsi or Coke if there wasn't Pepsi.
I also liked the Blackberry which I didn't see very often.
Every once in awhile I ordered Root-beer from the fountain at Baskin Robbins.
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven and a half hours of sleep.
-
Amy Shatzen, I did not see you at the show - where were you?
-
105%!!! We met our goal, exceeded it - in less than two days!!! Now we need to keep going, cover fees and Indiegogo now withholds a certain amount for an amount of time in case people renege, and the more we raise the more we can put on the DVD. Now, I'm going to arrange a day for Cindy to come and do a commentary with me.
-
106%!
-
106%!
And I hay-elped! ;)
-
CONGRATULATIONS, BK!! :D :D :D
-
Hopefully, I get my Mac back today.

Nice, Jrand! Will he have green make-up on his face, as well?
-
I gotta tell you. When I get back from the movie, I'll put up several new perks, as so many are gone now.
-
Congratulations on 106%
-
Amy Shatzen, I did not see you at the show - where were you?
I was in a back booth with Tony and Bob.
-
106 damned % in the first 48 hours is some pretty incredible news!
-
Yes DR GEORGE.....green make up is on the counter.....soon it will be on his face.
-
Ah.....I guess it was NOT Nehi that had the cactus on the bottle - it was Dandee......
-
Off to rehearsal.

Is there an echo in the house?? :))

-
Hello, everyone.
-
A BIG CONGRATS to BK on his enormously successful Indiegogo campaign!
I'm sure he's over the moon!
-
The videos were great. Little Peyton demonstrated a maturity well beyond her years. Sami's voice has strengthened, and SO MANY EMPTY ROOMS couldn't have been better. YOU MAKE ME FEEL SO YOUNG was great fun.
-
I ran another procedure-related errand today and hopefully this wild goose chase is over. I've been trying to do all I can this week and have been a wee bit frazzled.

I am glad you were able to go. Oops, you were referring to the videos and had not seen it in person.
-
DR Amy, thank you for your earlier report.

Vibes the goose chase is over and the procedure goes well.

Good evening!
-
Page 3?!
-
Nice videos, BK!
-
Congrats on the Indiegogo campaign, BK!
-
My flight from Chicago was delayed by almost 3 hours due to weather in DC. I got home and found that my AC was not working. The same thing happened when I got back from the UK. I guess I shouldn't travel.
-
Luckily, the repair guy arrived at about 11:00 am. The part he installed a few weeks ago was ruined---get this---by ants! He said it was under the warranty so I didn't have to pay anything. He recommended that I spray my heat pump with Raid, so I did so later. I hope it helps!
-
Congratulations to BK on the amazingly successful indiegogo campaign
-
I will watch the videos tonight
-
My mom wouldn't let us drink soda

Oh my :o :o :o
I hope the moisture from the raid doesn't hurt you heat pump. Will you spray more than once?

ANTS BE GONE VIBES FOR DR KEVIN!
-
But if I was able to find some empties laying about in the woods or one of the empty lots (Long Island still wasn't built up when I was a child) I would take them to the soda fountain down the block and get a Coca Cola in one of those green glass bottles
-
Ssssh don't tell my Mom
-
ANTS BE GONE VIBES FOR DR KEVIN!
~~~SUPER DITTO!!~~~
-
Topic of the Day: probably regular cola or root beer or 7-Up...whatever my parents bought. I never liked Dr. Pepper, so I wasn't a Pepper, but I did like the commercial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQPN3UKQM-U). :) And I'm sure that we never took back bottles for deposit or kept the caps. I'd heard about that, but I don't think we ever lived in a place that did that.
-
And now, I'm off to the theater again. I'll get to see the whole show, so that'll be good.
Be back later.
-
Ssssh don't tell my Mom
;D
TOD:
Sodas were for special occasions only when I was growing up. We could get one can apiece. I remember liking some of the ones with fruit flavors, like black cherry or strawberry, probably because they had more sugar. My absolute favorite, though, was Wink, which Canada Dry made, and it had a kind of grapefruit flavor. Most incredible stuff ever. The closest thing to it these days is Squirt, which I can get here made with sugar instead of corn syrup. I have one about once a year these days.
-
Starting to watch Romantic Comedy, which I found for $2 recently. I had never seen the movie, but I do like the Marvin Hamlisch score from the Kritzerland release.
-
Amy Shatzen, I did not see you at the show - where were you?
I was in a back booth with Tony and Bob.
Oh, really? Because I said hi to them twice back there and you most assuredly were not there. Unless you got there late - ah, that must be it! :)
-
What is this page three malarky?
-
I've been gone most of the day and early evening. I went to Hollywood, the Dome, and saw Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. More about that in the notes. Then I had to get food - Taco Bell, as I didn't want to stay out yet another hour.
-
We are currently at 108%. In our stretch goal now. I put up a fun photo of David Cassidy and I, from the first episode I did - signed by me, of course, and not so expensive.
-
Get me off this damn page.
-
Romantic Comedy is a movie without a pulse. It flatlined before it started.
-
I hate going to movie theaters. And I was concerned even though I was able to reserve the seat I wanted. The concern when I arrived was that everyone else had reserved seats in the exact location I was in, the tenth row. So, mostly the row in front of me and the two behind me. And then, wouldn't you know, three complete morons arrive and sit right in front of me, loudly bemoaning that they like to be on the upper level in the last row. Well, morons, you could have chosen those seats. I was fearful I was going to have to endure their stupidity for three hours. Then the moron woman ate a Junior Mint and proceeded to almost choke to death. She coughed for ten minutes straight, then finally stopped, and five minutes before the film start, she decided she was cold so left to get a coat from the car. Then the two moron men realized they were in the wrong damn seats - their seats were on the right side aisle, not the left, so thankfully off they went.
-
Page three? Really?
-
I don't think I've ever watched something as bland and vanilla.
-
Listening to music.
-
I did stop at Amoeba before the movie and found a couple of really cheap (like three bucks) CDs that looked interesting - and interesting they are, as I'm hearing now.
I guess i got my finger stuck on the ;;;;;;; key.
We do not use the ; in my line of business. People are scared of them. They don't understand what they're used for. They only know them as part of an emoticon.
Sad.
Good evening.
I like semi-colons; I find them useful.
I like semi-colons; I find them useful.
Thank you.
-
I was thinking of going as a semi-colon on Halloween. Instead, I'm going to Chicago.
-
Deadly dull movie done.
-
Time for bed.
-
Gratuitous post No. 101!
-
Good night, all.
-
I also like semi-colons. It warms my heart whenever I see them used correctly. Thank you, DR Laura.
-
Bruce, Roger Befeler seems so at home on stage, not stiff or nervous at all. He does a lot of local theater?
-
My condolences to you, John G, on the loss of your friend. It's never easy.
-
I imagine Druxy can't stay off his newly-repaired Mac now.
Good night.
I would say you are correct.
One of the nose pads broke on my glasses. I had planned on swimming tomorrow morning. Instead I will have Keith drop me off in town to get it fixed and walk home.
-
He does some LA theater, Jeanne - he was the Beast in the national tour of Beauty and the Beast - wife Kim Huber was Belle and the rest is history.
I don't remember when I discovered it, but I really liked Squirt. Now I drink diet Squirt. It's one of my regular purchases. I wish Ruby Red Squirt was available in a diet version, thought.
It happened in two different Sondheim shows!
-
John, continued condolences to you on the loss of your friends.
-
I spent most of my day at a medical center in Tacoma.
-
My friend, Betzy, had to have her colonoscopy today, and she needed someone to drive her there and back home.
-
It happened in two different Sondheim shows!
Victoria Mallory and Mark Lambert in A Little Night Music, and Kim Crosby and Robert Westenberg in Into the Woods.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
My friend, Betzy, had to have her colonoscopy today, and she needed someone to drive her there and back home.
My friend Mago drove me to and from MY colonoscopy.
-
Poor Betzy, she has to do a two-day prep, instead of one day.
-
It has something to do with her being heavy.
-
Poor Betzy, she has to do a two-day prep, instead of one day.
Mine was a two-day process.
-
The last time she was able to eat anything was Monday night at midnight.
-
The last time she was able to eat anything was Monday night at midnight.
Yikes!
-
Anyway, she came through it with flying colors.
-
I only had to stop eating the day before, and I went to Dairy Queen as soon as I was out of there.
-
Anyway, she came through it with flying colors.
That's great!
-
Now she can relax for three years. WTF? I have a ten year break.
Now she can relax for three years. WTF? I have a ten year break.
Me, too! Maybe she has some other issue that needs to be watched. :-\
-
I suppose.
-
Hopefully, there won't be any issues in three years!
"Ron Burgundy" is Stephen Colbert's guest.
