Well, you've read the notes, the notes gave 246%, and now it is time for you to post until the 246 cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: STUPENDOUS!
-
Twenty percent in one day - that's just incredible to me.
-
First post after BK.
-
Twenty percent in one day - that's just incredible to me.
Definitely!
-
CD set has been ordered! :D
-
Sad to be all alone in the world. ::)
;)
-
And now, I must depart for my bed and sleep...and to charge up my cell phone battery. This evening, I've been posting on it instead of my tablet and I have about 8% of battery power right now, so I'm off.
Have a good day, all!
-
Unbelievable - AOL is completely down. That's where the Kritzerland order invoices go - they're coming in, I can see that on PayPal, but I can't get them or forward them until AOL is working and hopefully not losing all these.
-
Good morning, all!
-
The roaches are back in the bathroom, and thanks to Stella, I now know they are coming from the floor above via the heating/steam pipe that runs through al;l the floors. This explains too why she keeps climbing it.
-
It was another horrible night. I took two Tylenol PM around 7:00, and we a;; went to bed around 9:30. I slept soundly until 1:00 or so, woke up to horrible leg pains and tossed about the rest of the night. I dozed off occasionally, but I mainly lay there, very groggy from the Tylenol, tossing from side to side looking for a comfortable position. Thatch and Annabelle stayed with me. Stella joined us around 5:15 or so, and Thatch abandoned me to frolic with her.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Mega-vibes, Elmore and all of us.
-
Between my leg pains, mobility, and my surgery a week from today, I've become very superstitious and anxious. The other day I became convinced I was going to die during the procedure, and Annabelle's clinginess has worried me. Last night, while she was sitting on my lap and we watched Downton Abbey, I noticed she was weeping; actual tears were coming from her eyes. This morning, as I tried to ambulate around the apartment, I obsessed about being able to care for myself much longer. I will be very happy when this procedure is over.
-
I will go into City Center today. I am glad to have some work. I may be scared shitless, but, like DR TCB, I will go on.
-
So much for my madness. I wish I had good things to report.
The new Kritzerland set sounds wonderful, and I'm very happy BK's Indiegogo project has gone so well. I can't believe Rob Palmer is only turning 34; I would swear that it was 50 years ago that DR Ginny and Richard brought him to New York.
DR Vixmom, I am relieved, as I'm sure you are, that the Vixter and whatshisname are in no danger from the hurricane.
-
That's enough of me!

Good morning, all.

I know all too well the pre-surgical anxieties DR Elmore is experiencing. Perhaps not quite to the same extent, but I’m a wreck in the period leading up to even the most routine procedure, surgical or not.
The fact that they now tell you, before ANYTHING, that your untimely demise could be one of the results, is nerve-wracking and, for so many things, absurd. But they have to do it and we have to sign off on it. Just breathe, and keep one thing in mind ... that ain’t gonna happen. I’m sorry that our DR Elmore has the leg pains complicating everything in the meantime.
-
Good morning.
-
Pain & lack of sleep does a messes on our coping skills.
-
Sending good vibes to DR elmore!

Good morning!

Lots of vibes for DR elmore!

Congrats on the great success of the campaign, BK!

Pain free vibes for DR ELMORE.
Kitties are very empathic....I think Annabelle is feeling your pain....
-
Happy Birthday to Rob and Happy Anniversary as well....I have actually met Rob.....

Last night's rehearsal was the "most disgraceful thing that's happened in the HISTORY of theatre" as Vera Charles would say....
Tonight HAS to be better....it was impossible for me to tell what play they were doing....what blocking they were using....or if anything worked....

I love this routine about always being behind the person who looks like they have three items, and that almost assures that they will have some issue with paying that takes forever.
Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco.

He also has a bit at the middle of the video linked above about people dressing TOO comfortably at the airport - he's very funny about that, but given how uncomfortable security checks and seats on the plane can potentially be, how can you blame flyers for wanting to be comfortable?

I have just made it home from City Center. As soon as I feed the cats, I plan to climb into a hot bath and stay there for some time.
-
Thank you, all, for the kind wishes and vibes. While I was working with Joshie today, our friend John Bell stopped by and so did Rob Berman. I am very luck to have them as friends.
-
The babies have had their dinner, and I've had my bath, which was quite relaxing. I plan to do very little for the remainder of the day.
-
It sounds like a good plan. I am glad your good friends stopped by today.
-
Went to K's Donuts and got a dozen - I'm not eating any (staying away from sugar for a few weeks) but one of our cast has a birthday and there are six others, and our MD, so why not?
-
Good luck staying away from sugar.
-
I turned on the hair dryer and it made a god awful sound. Fortunately we keep an old one in the guest bathroom.

Vibes to all.

Sleep well tonight DR Jeanne.
-
Keith took the car to be serviced this morning & I went to our pool for my last swim of the season. It was threatening rain as I walked over to the pool. Fortunately the pool temp had been turned up a bit & I had a comfortable swim. I was happy when the sun came out, and not wanting to get out I swam for longer than usual. I find if I do laps for longer than half an hour my shoulder hurts. Even though it was having a semi bad morning swimming longer didn't bother it at all.
-
I've taken a Tylenol PM and I'm going to read for a bit before going top bed. Good night, everyone.
-
Goodnight. I hope you sleep.
-
And now, I'm off to rehearsal!
Be back later with a report!
-
Have fun.
-
Had a fun second rehearsal, then grabbed some Taco Bell - fifteen minutes it took - never happened before.

Good evening.

I hope you have a better day tomorrow, Elmore.

I hope you have a better day tomorrow, Elmore.
Me, too.

Where is everybody today?

I had a weird day at work. I knew it would be. Today was when the department I write for had to submit their ideas for new jobs. Nobody is losing a job, but the organization of the department is changing completely.
-
So, people were in an uncertain mood.
-
It's hard to work when others are palpably nervous.
-
But I had a great lunch at a Pakistani restaurant near the office. Chicken Tawa, very spicy and delicious.
-
Came home to find the lawn had been mowed and looks good.
-
I went to pick up a check for some freelance work I did recently. I didn't open the envelope until I got home. It's five times the amount we had agreed on. I wish I could take the money and run. I have texted them.

Starting to watch the PBS Showboat with Vanessa Williams, Norm Lewis and Julian Ovenden. For some reason I've never watched this.

Very sorry to read that. I really enjoyed her in Bunny Lake Is Missing.

I am late for bed.

But I want to hear the end of Misery's Comin' Around.

Good night, all.

We've had a couple of small perks taken but not enough to raise the percentage - the next perk taken will raise it. We're at T-minus three hours. Hoping for some late-night FUN and EXCITEMENT.
-
T-minus two hours - no current action, but I am at the ready to dance a jig.
-
So, people were in an uncertain mood.
Understandably.

It's hard to work when others are palpably nervous.
At least you had a good lunch.

That sounds like more than a bonus of appreciation.

Hi, Tom.
-
Page 4? Seriously?
-
Hi, George.
-
This is getting ridiculous!
-
Where is everyone this week?
-
Overall vibes for dear Larry!!
-
I have been watching old MURDER SHE WROTE episodes.
-
Last night, one of the guest stars was Stuart Whitman. I always thought he was a fine actor.
-
And according to Wikipedia, he is still alive at the age of 91.
-
Mayor Pete is going to be on Stephen Colbert.
-
Tonight, one the guest stars on MSW was Van Johnson. I saw him on Broadway back in the 1980’s in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES.
-
Mayor Pete is going to be on Stephen Colbert.
It just started and I'm watching it now. :)
-
He was still dancing quite well for his age.
-
He was playing opposite George Hearn.
-
My friend, Carol Lynley, has died.
:( :( :(
My condolences, Druxy. :(
-
Well, the rehearsal tonight went pretty well.
-
I got some details of the show wrong, though.
-
It turns out that when each scene is performed, we will be performing IN cars at the marina!
-
And since we'll actually be in cars, only two or three audience members can be in the back seat for each scene.
-
PAGE FIVE DANCE!!
-
Majotity! LMAO!
-
So, the first scene will start with two or three audience members.
-
When the first scene is done, those audience members move into the second car, and a new group of two or three get into the first car.
-
Then those two scenes happen.
-
Then when they're finished, they each move onto the next scene and a new group starts in car #1.
-
So, the first scene will start with two or three audience members.
The whole thing sounds rather strange.
-
That continues until all six cars have scenes being performed at once, and then no new audience members start after that.
-
The rest of the existing scenes go until the rest of the audience members have seen all six scenes.
-
Who is going to the opening weekend of IT, PART 2
-
It'll end up that each scene will be performed six times during each of the three hours: 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00.
-
Who is going to the opening weekend of IT, PART 2
I didn't see part 1. ::)
-
Part 2 is not really accurate, since it is the other part of the original book.
-
So, the first scene will start with two or three audience members.
The whole thing sounds rather strange.
It'll truly be an environmental setting. ;)
-
Majotity! LMAO!
I just got to that part!! :))
-
The other aspect of this whole car play is that each role is double or triple cast.
-
So, I play Riley, but another man will play the role at the 2:00 performance, and a woman will actually play the role at the 3:00 performance!
-
The other aspect of this whole car play is that each role is double or triple cast.
So you will only do it once?
-
Tonight, each grouping got to run each scene twice (all at the same time for timing purposes).
-
So the whole show got performed six times tonight.
-
253%!!!
-
When we weren't performing our scene, we got to ge the audience for other scenes.
-
That was pretty fun!
-
About an hour left, although I'm not sure how, exactly. Still hoping for one more miraculous contribution and/or perk to be taken. I'll be up until we cross the finish line.
-
For now, hold tight while I change the topic.
-
I think it's actually ended!
