Well, you've read the notes, the notes had a morning after, and now it is time for you to post until the morning after cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: GERMANE!
-
First post after BK.

First Second post after BK.

First post after BK.
Oh well, it’s a post.
-
Good morning, George.
-
Hello, Tom.
-
How are you doing this morning?
-
I am sorry that I wasn’t here yesterday, but I announced last night that my friends Sharry and Micheal were coming over for dinner last evening.
-
I guess it does no good to say when I will be absent if nobody pays attention to it.

Hope it was an enjoyable evening!

Sometimes, one just forgets. ::)
-
;D
-
I just chugged down a bottle of Henry Weinhard.
-
That would be root beer.
-
George, have you seen the CAROUSEL with Kelli O’Hara and Nathan Gunn? I believe it is from 2013.

I did. Was it on again, or did you watch the DVD?

No, I just saw last night that I have it on Prime. I will probably watch it tomorrow.

Cool! I'll have to watch it again, too.

Pity they didn’t give Billy a nude scene, perhaps the Soliloquy
.
-
However, I still need to watch Amazon's Good Omens. I loved the book.

I know! What were they thinking?? >:(
-
I gotta tell you.
-
Dinner with friends is a fine excuse.
-
As long as they're out by eleven.
-
But seriously...
-
It was a belated birthday dinner for me.
-
Sharry is opening next Friday in CALENDAR GIRLS. And they will be selling the semi-nude calendar in the lobby.
(Spellcheck turned nude into Budapest)

One more post.

Well, I guess it is good night.

That's pretty cool!
-
Well, I guess it is good night.
Good night, Tom.
-
Good morning, all.
-
First in the east.
-
And I must be out of here to get some things done before hitting the road to my gig.
Have a good day, everyone!
-
Good morning, all.
-
Happy Saturday!
-
I have too much to do.

TOD:
Never met a cheese I didn’t like like except for American cheese food.
Don’t eat many crackers. If they’re with cheese, they have to be bland enough not to interfere. I don’t like the texture of Triscuits (too processed and coarse maybe), but I don’t mind the flavor.
-
Good morning!
-
Greetings from the Big Apple!
-
Last night I saw "Hadestown." I was in the line for standing room ($39). I got to the front of the line (there's a guy who lets people in the lobby/box office one at a time. He let me in and then explained that they were out of the standing room tickets but were offering orchestra seats for $109. Center section, 14th row. I thought that was a pretty good deal so I took it.
-
So, it was an interesting show. I liked parts of it but it's not one of the best things I've ever seen. The audience was going crazy at the end (and during the show) and I wondered what all the fuss was about. Different strokes...
-
Good morning, all!
-
Last night I took two Advil PM tablets and a naproxine - two items I could not take if I were having surgery next week - and slept soundly between 9:00 and midnight. Then it was a night of tossing and turning, looking for a comfortable position for my legs. I don't know if it was the fact I was no longer worrying about negotiating post-surgery comfort, but I believe I got more sleep last night than I did in the past two. Sleeping with a pillowq between my knees eases the pain and pressure, but it's a restless sleep.
-
This morning I fed the cats at 6:30 and went back to bed with the attitude of I'll stay in bed till I want to get up. After she ate, Annabelle crawled into bed with me and lodged herself under the covers somewhere around my ankles. After I clean the litter, I'm doing very little beyond lying on a heating pad or lying on a tub of very warm water.
-
DR George, I loved the photo of Neve.
-
In the past 40 minutes I've cleaned the kitty dishes and taken care of the litter, but I'm not up for patroi today, and I'm sure Annabelle will be antsy about it the remainder of the day. I don't think I'm up to it at the moment. Perhaps I'll change my mind in 30 minutes.
-
Being up to it vibes for DR ELMORE.
-
Nudapest.....that's in Bavaria, isn't it?
-
Moving along.....DR CHAS SMITH is a piano playing wizard today....
-
And MR BK did a lot on a day that was supposed to be a ME DAY.
-
Rehearsal was much better last night.....of course the set designer was there to take production photos and offered much "helpful" advice....which made the evening much less enjoyable for me.
-
Today and tomorrow we are off....so hopefully there is a lot of LINE review going on.
-
Kevin, that sounds like you got a great deal on that ticket, and ion a Friday night! That show had been selling a lot of premium tickets since their Tony win.
-
Vibes for many nights of good sleep for Larry!
-
I am sorry that I wasn’t here yesterday, but I announced last night that my friends Sharry and Micheal were coming over for dinner last evening.
Was it nice entertaining in your own home?
-
I enjoyed the photo from DR George last night.
-
However, I still need to watch Amazon's Good Omens. I loved the book.
Yes you do.
-
I guess it does no good to say when I will be absent if nobody pays attention to it.
Sometimes, one just forgets. ::)
Sometimes I type, hit post, and don't notice until later it never posted.

I used to purchase white American cheese sliced at the deli counter. It was much better than the packaged cheese. Recently I purchased packaged sliced Jack cheese that isn't very good & thought I should check out the deli counter to see what they sell.

I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep.
-
I've spent the afternoon dozing and watching Season 6 of Downton Abbey. Thatch and Stella kept me company. Thatch is showing more affection to me each day, which makes me very happy. I don't think he'll ever be a lap cat, and I don't think Annabelle will relinquish that position. He seems to be very content snuggling close to me and making himself comfortable as possible.
-
Miss Annabelle has just climbed down from her closet aerie, so I guess the kitties know it's dinner time. I swear Thatch recognizes these words and relates enthusiastically to all of them:
bed
lie down
brush
dinner
treat
-
I am sure you are correct that Thatch recognizes those words.

Yes DR JANE the camera certainly loves Neve.
-
I like Chiken N A Biskit crackers......and Ritz Crackers.....and sometimes Club Crackers.....
I like mostly American Cheese....and I always use Velveeta on my cheeseburgers.
Today I fried some hockey pucks and put Velveeta on them...and I use Velveeta when I make my macaroni and cheese....I shall always be a Midwesterner when it comes to CHEESE, I suppose.
-
I like cheddar or Swiss on my burgers, preferably with mushrooms, munster and crackers with soup, brie at a good party, and Kraft American and Virginia ham on my toasted cheese sandwich.
-
I just had a burger with Swiss and sauteed mushrooms and the cats and I are returning to Season 6.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
Jane, I can't think of a better solution to bloodshot eyes than eye drops. Larry's suggestion is a good one, I think. I've used that brand, though not currently.

Thank you DR elmore. I will pick this up next time I am at Fred Meyer.
-
That said, I would suggest you take a look at Natural Ophthalmics, a Colorado company that offers a wide array of natural eye products. I've been taking their Floater Pellets, which have helped with my floaters, and their Total Ocular Function, an oral spray which someone at the company recommended. I didn't see anythng there specifically for bloodshot eyes, but you may find something of interest.

You may want to call their customer service, too.

Similasan is a homeopathic product. I don't know what Fred Meyer sells, but you may need to go to Whole Foods or other such store.

Thanks Jeanne. I think I tried them a long time ago for dry eyes. I will try them again and hope they work.

I just looked. They sell 4 different formulas, including dry eye relief & allergy relief, but not complete eye relief.

We enjoyed it but then we ate American cheese back then. The Jack cheese I recently purchased feels like that packaged American cheese.

Jane, I was just on the Natural Ophthalmics site and it may be only for doctors now. But I buy the products from Pure Formulas and get free two-day shipping.

I will check it out. Did it help with your floaters before or after or cataract surgery?

Looking forward to a wonderful dinner tonight at my favorite Italian place.

"As of May 2019
Natural Ophthalmics is temporarily OUT OF STOCK of ALL eyedrops."

Which product?

I had very few floaters prior to the surgery. An optometrist had warned me that I was susceptible to them because of my extreme myopia, but they weren't bad. Since the surgery they've been a big problem. One day I was sitting on the sofa when I would have sworn that a ferret crossed the room. It was a floater! More than once I've been startled by something, only to find that that was a floater, too. I often see a smudge in my right eye, like a smudge on your glasses, except I'm not wearing glasses. All of this has been since the surgery. The Natural Ophthalmics products have really helped. No more ferrets! The floaters aren't completely gone, but I have less.

Happy birthday to Bonnie.

WOMEN’S TEAR STIMULATION DRY EYE DROPS
-
TTFN.
-
Please let me know if it works. For now I am going to try the Similasan.
-
Walgreens by the gym should have the drops. If so I can pick them up on Monday.
-
Had a really good stumble-through - a few fumbled lyrics but really good.
-
Then Peyton, her mom, and her mom's mom and I went to Stanley's for food.
-
Jane, the Women's Eye Stimulation Drops don't seem to be available right now. I tried Pure Formulas, Vitacost, and Amazon, my usual sources. But I noticed that Boiron's Optique doesn't have any preservatives. I was using a homeopathic product--from Similasan, I think--but the ophthalmologists REALLY don't want you to use eye drops that contain preservatives, and I think that had one. I will try Optique and let you know the results. I also saw some liquid MSM eye drops at Amazon. I didn't know about these. Optique first.
-
Thank you for the information. I will also look for drops from Borian at the stores. I prefer not to use preservatives as some bother me. The problem is not having preservatives usually means single dose containers. Using those is not only a nuisance, working them bothers my shoulder.
-
I've been using my regular lens stuff, Bausch and Lomb Renu saline solution, in situations like that, taking the contact lens out and just pouring the saline solution into the eye every few hours. So far, it's been the magic solution for anything I've had.
They make stuff specifically called "eye wash," too.
-
But I just noticed what you said about preservatives.
-
Back.
And what a long day it was.
But fun. Lots of fun. With a few hair-raising moments thrown in. And that’s the nature of this thing we do.
-
Listening to an upcoming release - a reissue of an album I produced in 1994 - better even than I remembered, and I think we can liven up the sound a bit - it's a very good mastering for back then, but I hear things now that I think can be perkier and engaging.
-
DR George, I loved the photo of Neve.

I wore out the copy that George sent me years ago.

Excellent dinner. Burrata with truffle oil, an excellent addition to today’s cheese topic. Rigatoni with chicken and zucchini. Amberjack with artichoke hearts. And a bombe with chocolate and vanilla gelati infused with a light cherry flavor.
-
Now I’m very tired.
-
But first...
-
Five!
-
Good night, all.
-
Today is my wedding anniversary. We will celebrate with the family tomorrow after church, since my son works on Saturdays.
-
I love cheese and crackers.

Yes DR JANE the camera certainly loves Neve.
Thanks, Jrand!

Good evening.
Hi, Laura.
-
Hi George.
-
Happy anniversary to Laura.
-
I dozed off for twenty minutes.
-
I'm gonna try to be in bed by one tonight, even though I can sleep in tomorrow.
-
George, have you seen the CAROUSEL with Kelli O’Hara and Nathan Gunn? I believe it is from 2013.
I wore out the copy that George sent me years ago.
I have a digital file of the broadcast and can make another DVD if anyone else wants one.

I have drops for when my contacts are in except, not that I have been wearing them lately. I haven't found an eye wasb that has really helped.

A Very Happy Anniversary to you and your husband, Laura! :D

(You do have a husband and not a wife, right? I really shouldn't assume one or the other!)
;)
-
Happy Anniversary Dr Laura 🥂⚘
-
I have been craving cotswold cheese except it is difficult to find. I think last time I got it at New Seasons which is not convenient for us.
-
I don't eat crackers very often anymore.
-
I don't know the names of many kinds of crackers, other than saltines, Ritz, Triscuit and Cheez-Its. I like these, and pretty much most of the crackers that I've had.
-
Good evening.
-
Hi, George.
-
What a crazy night, weather-wise.
-
The biggest lightning storm I can remember us ever having in Western Washington.
-
About 400 lightning strikes an hour for three hours.
-
I felt like I was back in New Jersey.
-
Western Washington, unlike Eastern Washington doesn’t usually have much in the way of lightning.
-
Page 6
-
Over my house, the thunder was non-stop for over an hour.
-
We never lost power, although I was prepared, just in case.
-
They had to close the Washington State Fair early, and they had a couple of hour delay for the Husky football game.
-
They have now resumed play, but they are still in the first half.
-
What in the world is a Floater pellet? Is that some sort of pill?
-
I wonder if George had any lightning down his way?
-
Oh, I guess he left!
-
The storm was my entire excitement for the day.
-
The biggest lightning storm I can remember us ever having in Western Washington.
About 400 lightning strikes an hour for three hours.
Really?? :o None of that was down here in Tumwater!
-
Over my house, the thunder was non-stop for over an hour.
I'm sorry I didn't get to experience that!
-
They had to close the Washington State Fair early, and they had a couple of hour delay for the Husky football game.
Wow! Amazing!
-
I wonder if George had any lightning down his way?
No, I didn't!
-
I didn’t actually get to see the lightning, except on television. I could have opened the blinds in the bedroom, but I didn’t want to get dressed again just to watch the storm.
-
Oh, I guess he left!
No...I didn't.
-
The storm was my entire excitement for the day.
That would've been exciting!
-
Of course, I could have given the lady across the way a very small thrill.
-
I can't be seen even when my blinds are open.
-

Wow, I can’t believe you didn’t get to experience “the storm.”
-
I can't be seen even when my blinds are open.
But you are upstairs aren’t you?
-
I can't be seen even when my blinds are open.
But you are upstairs aren’t you?
Yes, there is that. ::)
-
BTW, I remembered last night, after I had gone to bed, that the post I wrote the other night about Sharry and Micheal coming to dinner last night never posted, because Bruce changed the day on me.
-
So, George, you couldn’t have known where I was last night — unless you had used Tarot cards.
-
I expect today to end at any minute.
-
T.O.D.
Cheddar with most any cracker.
-
Do you think we can make it to the next page?
-
Only three more posts needed.
