Hi George! Sorry I haven't been around. First, a family member had emergency surgery and I went to care for her and get her settled back at home. Gone for several days. Since I've been home, the damn computer has decided to only work when it wants to. I get on, try to do something and it cuts out and I can't get back on. Ready to throw it out the window. My nephew is coming to work on it when he gets a chance but I might be in and out for a few more days.
~~~Quick Recovery Vibes for Your Family Member AND Your Computer!!~~~
Well, it’s finally here — sitzprobe and tech Sunday for CABARET.
I’ll be out all day, and any vibes you can spare for a good rehearsal and sitzprobe will be most welcome. And don’t forget to pray for that baby.
I remember liking MURPHY'S ROMANCE, but I remember I like the ex-husband as well just because I liked the actor.....
He also played a jerk on the ROSEANNE show....which is strange because he seemed like a nice guy.
I loved the photo of DR JANE & KEITH with the Weinermobile.....I have seen it driving down the street, but I have never seen it in person.
The two couples who have been serving as coffeehour hosts all summer have decided to continue which makes me very happy
I gave my mom the 4 photo tiles I add for her and she was delighted
Peop,e saw what we were looking at and pretty soon we had a stream if people coming over to ooh and ah over the pictures
Well, today is the one day that Seven Cars at Boston Harbor Marina will be playing. There will be three shifts of actors. I'm in the first shift at 1:00. Each scene during each shift will be performed six times, so I'll have six chances to get it right. ;) Then, I'm done.
Everybody sleeping in this morning?
I'm looking forward to Ken Burns' Country Music History beginning tonight. I hope I can stay awake for it.
I've been too busy today. I just finished most of my late afternoon chores as well as making tuna salad, and my body aches. I'd get in the tub, but I'm waiting for a visit from my friend Steve Ross, who's stopping by to say hello.
Phyllis Newman has died. I liked her. The last time I saw her was on Broadway and 80th Street. She had just come from Pinky Nails. She said "I'd take your hand but I just had my nails done." I helped her get a taxi.
Jane, did you see my post on Friday night about the Life Extension article?
Also Jane, I received an email I'd like to forward to you. If you PM me your email address, I'll do so.
Steve Ross just left. It was nice to see him. He wanted to know how my surgery went, and I told him the whole story of why it didn't happen. He loved meeting Annabelle and Stella, who climbed all over him.
When I went with my Mom to see "Madwoman of Central Park West"(it sounded like the perfect show to see with Mom), we had really close seats. At one point, something Ms. Newman said in the script about kids made my Mom really laugh a little louder than other people and Mom nudged me in the ribs. Ms. Newman looked to see who was acknowledging what she'd said about kids, and saw that it was a Mom about her age seeing the show with a kid close to the age she was talking about.
I got to tell Phyllis Newman that at one of Amanda's concerts, and she seemed to like that a Mom and a son had gone to that particular show together. (But I could not recall for the life of me what the line was. Mom's reaction had been with a meaning like "See, that happens between parents and kids in in celebrity families, too.")
Finished "The Girl Who Lived Twice" tonight. Dreadful. Lizabeth Salander should sue.
It's over! Well, for now. :) It went pretty well. And it didn't rain during the time that I was there (it just sprinkled a bit), so that was good!
I wasn't perfect for most of our times, but we got through them without too many goobers...most were from me. ::) I did get it by about halfway though.
But when I ordered it, they said that they had the Beyond Burger instead. Their website and their in-store menu still said Impossible Burger, though.
I went ahead ordered the Beyond Burger. I liked it much better than Burger King's Impossible Burger, but not as much as the Impossible Burger that I got before at Well 80.
I have found menus on websites are not always trustworthy.
I saw her on tour with that show. I really enjoyed her in that and loved Ed Kleban's song, Better.
Norman Lear, at 97, has won another Emmy. Go, Norman!
Congratulations on your show(s) today.
Did Jeff go out to eat with you after the shows?
Pepperoni pizza rolls. Yummy!
Does he have a husband?
No. He had a partner for quite a few years, but they broke up. I don't think he's had any partner since.
Wasn’t Troy his partner at one time, or did I hear that wrong?
George, i’ve Forgotten. Did you come up to Lakewood to see THE PRODUCERS?
Okay, sorry.
