And a Very Happy Birthday to DR Larry!! :D
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DR ELMORE!
Happy birthday, Larry. May you year be filled with happiness and good fortune!
I can’t wait to hear what kind of celebration plans the kitties have up their collective sleeve!
Over the last year at my work, we've been doing a classification and compensation study. The recommendations have been announced and people who are adversely affected by the recommendations can appeal. It's been recommended that my position be affected, so I'm going to appeal. I know that I have some pretty convincing arguments. ;)
Happiest of birthdays to my talented friend who is also from the midwest and has three kitties and lives in the Big Apple.....DR ELMORE......
Tonight, Joshie, John Bell, Rob Berman, and several others are taking me to dinner at Cafe Frida. I am really looking forward to that.

I once brushed my teeth with Brylcreem which was a horrifying experience.....the tube looked like toothpaste to a sleepy me.
Vibes for DR GEORGE.....I don't like it when people who have never done your job decide how you should DO your job.
DR ELMORE shares his birthday with Miss Frances Farmer.....

Happiest of birthdays to dear DR Elmore! I hope you get some mail from us today...
I was convinced physical therapy was at 11:00 today, but it was 11:30. Around 10:15 leaving the apartment became a major effort, which was a mess, and I ended up taking a taxi for no reason at all.

At least he can appeal the decision.

Darn. I hope PT helped.
George - Hoping what you write accomplishes what you need it to.
DR CHAS SMITH what's happening at the Car Place.

Happy Birthday, Dear Elmore!
Justin Bridges was the librarian looking after my Miami University collection. I had hoped to go back last summer and help him with DR Ginny get it in order. I just now learned that he died on Aug. 2 from colon cancer. I am in shock. He was a really good man. I will miss him.

Happy Borthday, Elmore! Sending you love and hugs!!!

Thanks, Jrand! But it's not so much someone else deciding how I should do my job, but someone else thinking they know WHAT I do in my job, which is probably why the outside consulting firm decided to downgrade my job...because they don't have all the information. :P
I also received an interesting piece of mail from the attorney for my late publicist friend Bob Ullman's estate. I'm a beneficiary in Bob's will.

Today was a baking day at the church. There was some reporter who showed up as I was cleaning up the kitchen. I got out before he asked to talk to me. I don't need no reporters.
Sending strongest vibes to George that you win your appeal
Too many people wanted a piece of me, and there weren’t enough pieces to around.

If the downgrade holds would it reduce your salary?
I gather you were given the reasons your job was downgraded and are able to see what they are missing in their evaluation.
Vibes to DR George for a successful appeal!

Thanks, Jeanne! I hope I have good arguments!
Just got an e-mail that Indiegogo has released the held funds, which are now on their way to the bank. Good news!

You just expressed some good arguments here. Continued vibes the downgrade is removed. I am shocked you didn't have any input into the information they used. I suppose if their information was correct your input wouldn't have been needed.
I think when we return form our upcoming trip to England I will be ordering ChocZero squares to try. I just have my doubts this fussy chocolate eater will like them.

The ChocZero chocolates are sweetened with monk fruit extract, so it's not a sugar alcohol. I don't think I've ever noticed any kind of aftertaste from the products with sugar alcohols that I've had. My sister uses xylitol and I use erythritol. And fortunately, I've also not experienced any of the "side effects" of erythritol. ::)
;)
George did you get the new printer that has the easy ink refill?
If not George, who did get one?
DR Ginny, your birthday card was in today's mail. That's perfect timing.
Thank you so much!

Glad you made it home safe, John G. You suffer from too much rain; I have not enough.
And the audience reactions to a couple of pretty intense moments, and to the production overall, are gratifying.

Yes, I did, but I haven't set it up, yet.
So, I came home and mixed up a little gin with curacao as a reward.

BK got one of those Epson printers also, so he can let you know how well it works.

Thanks. I couldn't remember who the other person was that got one, or that it is an Epson.
Callbacks were fun. I do have some worries about our leading man, who was there to read with people. Last year, he told me he was learning his lines then and would come in letter perfect for the first rehearsal. Tonight we found out he didn't do that and has JUST started learning - huge role, every other line in the play is his, pretty much. A bit alarming. Also, he was a fait accompli but no one realized he has no transportation so the guy who hired him will have to deal with that part tomorrow. Otherwise, we cast everything, so that's good.
Good luck with your actor, BK. :-\
