Off to see the day.
I got home from Cafe Frida around 10:15 and I was in bed by 10:30. Because I had had two margaritas, I wasn't sure what I could take, so I ended up taking a Tizanidine and a Tylenol with codeine, told the cats, I hope I see you tomorrow, and went to bed.

Did you sleep well?
FIDDLER is coming through Indy in a few weeks....is that the production you're talking about?
Here it is, the Big Sombrero!
Condolences to DR ELMORE.....it's a killer.... I just assumed I would be all right and the doctors would get me through. But things like this remind me everyday of what a bullet I dodged and how I am now living on borrowed time.
PICNIC went well last night.....so we shall see what happens tonight.
Annoying person Number One asked me Wednesday if I wanted to know what she liked about the show....so I said yes.
She said: The music, and Madge's blue dress.
I wanted to say - "Well that made it a long night for you, didn't it?"
But I just didn't say anything.

Not at all.
Here's the birthday party!

So, what*, it's that time again?
*See what I did there?
Apparently, it is. Op'nin' night tonight, and all that. Pray for the baby.

Fiddler on the Roof is coming here in late January. Does this friend like doughnuts?

~~~Break Legs Vibes for ChasSmith and Cast!!~~~
Tonight, Tracy and I are going to see CALENDAR GIRLS at the Tacoma Little Theatre. This is the first production of their 101st Season. I have several friends in the production; including Jane, George, and my friend, Sharry. I am not sure that I will make it home before midnight.
Is that the musical version?
Oh, hi, Tom!
Did the handicapped ramp issue get settled?
Then I applied for the new job that was finally posted. And I called the Argo Group about the job they are interested in having me come in to interview for.
When I got to work, I saw that last night’s storm swept scaffolding off the neighboring building across the street into parish hall of my friend Gail’s church. Three people at a bus stand were apparently injured. Not a pretty scene.
JRand, who are these people in your audiences? They sound mentally feeble.
They've scheduled a table reading a week from now so the artistic directors can assess the situation - it was their call, they must deal with it, even if they like what they hear. I think this person had badgered them for a long time about letting him do the play and they finally said okay - there are many reasons for that, including he reviews shows there.
I could have made three posts out of that.
Jane, in answer to you question last night, Brian says he'll come another time to help me clean, but if he finds a job in his new area I don't think it'll happen. Believe me, I've been trying to think of a way for it to be viable for him to make the drive down here, but it's just too long a drive.
He's gotten done a lot of the doesn't-need-to-be-cleaned-often tasks, so that's good. So many of today's cleaning people are really picky and turn their noses up at anything they don't want to do. Brian's not that way. The apartment's in better shape now and I could bring in a more conventional sort of cleaner. But I haven't a lot of patience these days with bad attitudes. And I'm spoiled because Brian was so good!
DR George, we don't expect, except in York, to be doing the usual tourist activities. That will likely mean we won't be where there are key chains. Please, if you want something from a particular area let me know otherwise there might not be a a key chain this trip.
I came home to find a copy of the new musical Half Time, which had some of the last songs Marvin Hamlisch wrote. And it was the last show Georgia Engel was in. I'm looking forward to listening to it.
That sounds like it will be a wonderful trip, Jane.
It does sound like a great trip, Jane.
Wow. A movie about marriage that ends with the couple asking each other for forgiveness and then sitting down to a nice meal of green tea over rice. And done without rancor or cynicism. Charming.
I just read that season 3 of THE ORVILLE won't happen until 2020 and is switching to Hulu.
I'm home from the symphony. Their performance of Mahler's Second was outstanding. And it was wonderful to look out on that stage and see 75 or so singers and more than 75 orchestra members. It was all overwhelming.
Well, my Banjo just dropped out. Barry Pearl. After finding out that his usual end of year gig wasn't happening he came to me and asked me if he could do it and I, of course, said yes. And just as of course, he now got another gig that would preclude him from playing the final two weeks of the show. So, on the lookout and I must have someone who's FUNNY.
The trip plans began when Keith found deals on flights too good to pass up. All of our hotel rooms are free thanks to hotel points we have earned.
I had a potentially critical medical problem with Nicky today.
