Well, you've read the notes, the notes were bearish and naiseish, and now it is time for you to post until the bearish cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: VIGNETTE!
-
First post after BK.

Today, I will be performing in the revival of Seven Cars at Boston Harbor Marina, in actual cars parked at the actual Boston Harbor Marina. This time, my scene partner Jeff can't be there, so I'll more than likely be performing with my friend Tom (not HHW's very own Tom, a.k.a. TCB).
-
There were three rotating casts performing the show the last time. Jeff and I were part of one, Tom and another friend Judy (who actually played my role) were in another, and two other people who I don't know at all were the third. Tomorrow, Jeff and Judy can't be there, and since we're only doing two rotations, I will probably be paired with Tom (not TCB) unless something happened to one or both of the third pair of actors. I'll find out tomorrow!
-
The performances start at 3:00 (I don't know if I'm in the 3:00 group or the 4:00 group) but we'll all meet at 2:00 pm and have an hour to go through everything (all six scenes can be rehearsed at the same time). At least, I'll have that time to get used to my new scene partner. Fortunately, it doesn't look like it's going to rain, so that's helpful. The audience literally goes from car to car to see each scene.
-
Today is also my family's weekly(ish) dinner get-together. Depending on what time we're supposed to get together, I might be able to be there before my 2:00 call time, or after I'm done. We'll see.
-
And now, I'm off to bed.
Have a good day, all!

Maybe they aren't as popular anymore. I don't really ever see bookmarks in most places except at bookstores. Thanks for looking!

Re: McDonalds.
I don't eat there very often (maybe 2-3 times a year). But I really like it. I love a Big Mac and fries. Here they mail out coupon booklets a few times a year. So that is when I usually go.
-
Good morning, all!
-
I've spent - or wasted - the past 90 minutes cleaning out unlistened music from my Tunes. Much was for projects long past, some of it werte things I've been sent over the past 18 years of owning a computer. This was long past due.
-
I have no plans today at all. I think the cats and I will lounge about and watch some DVDs.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Playing bells this morning in the Reformation service.
-
Lunch with my son today, which is always nice.
-
Good morning!
-
It's a rainy day in the DC area.
-
I've been watching Grace and Frankie for the last few days. I'm up to Season 3.

So happy it went well!

I've got a nice back light.
It’s just your halo.
-
Awake after a nice nap.
-
Don’t know if I want to face the world yet.
-
Got a documentary on Dan Curtis and Dark Shadows to watch.
-
Let’s move on ...
-
Two!
-
Good morning, all.
Edit: um, okay, afternoon.
-
It’s a dark and rainy day here.
-
I liked the Scotty documentary until he dumped Beach Dickerson's ashes through a hole in his patio.
-
I never knew there was a Dark Shadows Cookbook. A copy is selling on amazon for more than $100.
-
I just finished watching Tony Palmer's documentary Margot, about the great Margot Fonteyn. Very moving, I had no idea of how horribly her life ended.
-
This is for you, DR vixmom!

It is raining here! I don't care for rain. But especially this crazy downpour all day. I had a rain jacket on and a big umbrella but it is windy and it is raining so hard. :(

Good footage of her onstage?

The library has it. I'll try to remember to get it when I get back from Chicago.
-
Right now listening to Jimmy Webb sing some of his more famous songs. The Moon's a Harsh Mistress is just gorgeous.

Yes, but there are also complete videos of her in Swan Lake and Romeo and Juliet with Nureyev, Cinderella, and The Sleeping Beauty.

Thanks, yes I was aware of this . I actually made my first purchase a couple of years ago to be supportive of a particular post and loved the spices so much I became a real Penzeys fan . I use it in almost all my cooking now
-
I'm up, I'm up - ten hours of lovely sleep.
-
Page two? Really?
-
Where in tarnation IS everyone? You'd think it was a Sunday or something.
-
Went and picked up yesterday's package.
-
I'm closing up shop. Annabelle, who's been reading Edith Wharton, wants to watch The Age of Innocence.

I expected to see them in the Harry Potter stores. It is possible there was too much to look at and I missed them. There was a fun book light. Not that those would have fitted your criteria for beautiful.

Lunch with my son today, which is always nice.
Always nice. We got to video chat with Bryan.
-
It's a rainy day in the DC area.
Not good weather for a baseball game. I sure home the Nationals win tonight.

It is a shame some of that rain can't be sent to California.

I hope DR George is having a fun day.

I keep seeing Penzey in the news & think of you.
-
I meant to try them the next time I purchased spices and then forgot :(
-
Waiting for the arrival of Marshall Harvey - we're dining, and then he'll watch some of the Creature transfer, as I wanted a second set of eyes on it.
-
I have been watching a beautiful sunset.
-
I just watched a plane land with the last of the red sky as the backdrop.
-
And four more came in as I was watching.
-
I'm closing up shop. Annabelle, who's been reading Edith Wharton, wants to watch The Age of Innocence.
I wish I liked that movie. But it's as if Martin Scorsese didn't realize the novel was a comedy -- and a nasty one at that.
I've got The Old Maid at home from the library. Bette Davis, Miriam Hopkins. Maybe Annabelle would like that better.
-
Went to a dinner party that started late. But it was with a group of people I hadn't seen in a while, so that was great.
-
It was called a barbecue, but the salmon was actually baked and the ribs were first cooked in a pressure cooker, then finished off in the oven. Both were excellent.
-
Desserts included a pecan torte, not really a pie. But the foundation was buttery and wonderful.
-
Then I made it to Bible study late. I didn't get there for the dinner (and didn't need anything). Apparently, they all just talked and planned next month's get-together.
-
Now I'm home.
-
I need to start packing for Chicago.
-
But I've started watching a Glenn Ford flick called Follow the Sun about the golfer Ben Hogan.
-
Hello, 1 guest!
-
What's your favorite golf movie?
-
Why am I watching a golf movie?
-
Anne Baxter is good in this. And she doesn't say "Moooses" once.
-
But it's still about golf.
-
The early forecast for Chicago calls for days in the 40s and nights in the 30s.
-
At least I'll be in Chicago.
-
And I won't be golfing.
-
The first day it's supposed to rain. Then be partly sunny most of the rest of the time.
-
I have packed my warmest shirt. I don't know what the convention rooms are going to be like. Too warm to stay awake? Cold and uncomfortable?
-
Page three??? Really?
-
Marshall and I supped at Casa Vega, and yes, taquitos for the appetizer. They didn't arrive as an appetizer, though - they came at the same time as the meal and our server was very gracious and comped them. They were good. Otherwise I had my usual beef taco and two cheese enchiladas. Rather stuffed.
-
Then we came back and I showed him the transfer and he was very impressed that the blow-up did not really degrade the 4x3 letterbox image at all and, in fact, improved on it by getting rid of the video scan lines. While we both wish it wasn't quite so blurry, it's acceptable, at least we hope everyone will realize what we were dealing with and how lucky we were to have anything at all on this movie.
-
I also showed him the two new video interviews and he really liked those.
-
Listening to the symphonies of Dvorak, conducted by Kubelik. Never heard any of these save for the ninth, so it's interesting and while they're not really my cuppa there are really some very nice things in the early symphonies.

Fran Kubelik's father?
-
Well, the final round has been golfed.
-
And we haven't made it off page 3.
-
But we can solve that one easily.
-
With one more post.
-
Four!
-
Good night, all.
-

Well, I did do my scene with Tom, so that was fun. :)
-
We were able to run our scene a couple of times in the car after everyone got there.
-
We were scheduled to perform in the 4:00 run, so I had time to get a sub sandwich at the little deli at the marina.
-
The whole show got started a little early, but Tom and I got started even earlier.
-
I think one of the guys in the 3:00 run of our scene had to leave a little early, but since Tom and I were there, we just got into the show even a little earlier than expected.
-
But even though the whole event got started early, we didn't finish our last time through (and we're the last scene in the whole show) until about 5:30.
-
It otherwise went really well (just a few goobers) and the weather was perfect!
-
Not a single cloud in the sky, and not very chilly, either.
-
-
Dvorak is playing - just finished symphonies 1, 4, and 2 (in CD order) and about to start three. Creature is live at Kritzerland, although I think everyone here did the Indiegogo purchase.
-
But it does make a wonderful gift for friends if you get my meaning and I know you do.
-

That's so cool!
-
But I've started watching a Glenn Ford flick called Follow the Sun about the golfer Ben Hogan.
In Michigan we ate at a restaurant named Hogan's in his honor because it was near a golf country club.

Wow.

Not a single cloud in the sky, and not very chilly, either.
Wow.
There weren't any herons in the water this time (there were when we first did it). Someone mentioned that it was probably because the tide was in, but it could also just be the time of year. I don't know.
-
I didn't see a heron today and we usually see one ;)
-
Anyway, there were several chairs on the beach that were partially underwater! :o
-
;D
-
I haven't read at all today. I had better start before I fall asleep.
-
Anyway, there were several chairs on the beach that were partially underwater! :o
It seems odd chairs were left on the beach.
-

It seems odd chairs were left on the beach.
They were heavy duty plastic, and we thought that since they didn't float away that they might actually have been chained to the ground so that they couldn't be stolen. Just a guess, though.
-
Good evening.
-
Page 4? Really?
-
Where was everyone today?
-
Obviously not outside enjoying the weather, because it sounds like most people had rain today.
-
We had beautiful sunshine and temps in the 50’s.
-
In fact, we are suppose to have sunshine through the end of the week.
-
Page 5
-
Naturally, clear skies this time of the year means cold nights.
-
Tonight the temp is suppose to be around 29 degrees.
-
But, tomorrow night it is expected to be down to the low 20’s overnight.
-
Hi, George.
-
Hmm, I guess I am posting alone.
-
I was very lazy today.
-
I watched football all day.
-
Hi, Tom.
-
I didn’t even do laundry today.
-
But, that is what Monday is for.
-
I didn’t even do laundry today.
I didn't, either.
-
Nick did not sleep well last night, which means that I didn’t sleep well, either.
-
Of course, not getting much sleep allowed me to know that one of my neighbors likes to vacuum at three in the morning.
-
I should go down to the Pierce County library and apply for a lie-berry card.
-
My Tacoma library card is now null and void.
-
Nick did not sleep well last night, which means that I didn’t sleep well, either.
That's too bad. :(

George, the harbor in Olympia is called Boston Harbor?
-
Hold tight while I change the topic.
-
George, the harbor in Olympia is called Boston Harbor?
It's just one of the harbors in Olympia.
-
But yes, Boston Harbor, Olympia, Washington. ;)
-
Hold tight while I change the topic.
I'm holding tightly!!
-
I'm still holding!
-
I don't think I can type and post quickly enough to get us to Page 6.
-
Well...
-
...maybe...
-
...I...
-
...can...
-
...almost there...
-
PAGE SIX DANCE!!
-
Whew! ;D
-
Okay, I'll stop now. ;)
-
...or will I??
