Well, you've read the notes, the notes were fun and productive, and now it is time for you to post until the fun and productive cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: TENACIOUS!
-
First post after BK.
-
Tom, congrats on the new (to you) desk PC!
-
Otherwise, how did you manage to humiliate yourself with the tech guy from your cable company? ???

Otherwise, how did you manage to humiliate yourself with the tech guy from your cable company? ???
Well, the other day I tried to change over from one PC to another, by myself. Well, there are so many cables with the computer, the modem, the WIFI, etc., etc., etc.
-
I did fine until I got to one cord that I thought came from the modem, but I couldn’t find a place on the new computer where it would plug in.
-
So, today I get the tech guy from Rainier Connect on the phone, and, well I am not very technically savvy. We go around and around for over a half hour and we are both getting frustrated because he is telling that I can use any of the other three plugs on their box to make it work and I am telling him there are no other plugs on their equipment.
-
Just about then I flip over this little black box of their’s, and I notice that it has Lenovo imprinted on the box. That happens to be the brand of my old PC! Hmmm, something is very strange going on here.
-
I tell this guy that I will try to follow his directions, and if I can’t figure it out I will call him back. The black box in question just happens to plug into my old computer on one end, and the other end plugs into the electrical wall socket. Yes I was trying to get the old computers electrical box plugged into my new computer!
-
Turns out the back box the techie was talking about was on the shelf below with all of spots he mentioned. Of course I didn’t need to plug anything else in because that cord had nothing to do with the new computer.
So, I pushed the start button and like magic it started right up!
-
If any of that makes any sense. In other words, I am an idiot.
-
Good night, George.

We've all been there, Tom. ;D
-
Good night, Tom.

Today is going to be a day! My friend Margo and I are going to Seattle to see Miss Saigon (https://seattle.broadway.com/shows/miss-saigon/) at the Paramount! I'll leave work early, then go to my sister's to borrow her daughter's car (and do a little repair work on the chicken coop ::) ), then pick up Margo, then head to Seattle!
-
We'll dine somewhere in Seattle...hopefully, not too far from the theater and not too expensive.
-
I've only seen Miss Saigon once before, at the 5th Avenue Theatre, years ago. I'm sure that this will be a good production.
-
Well, this is cool...PBS.org is having a Mega Fall Sale (https://shop.pbs.org/mega-sale?utm_source=PBS&utm_medium=Link&utm_campaign=pbs_home-show_module_MegaSale5.99_Oct19&N=1540625023&Nrpp=24&No=0&Nr=product.active:1).
"Choose from Over 400+ Titles. Only $5.99 Each! Use Code: MEGA."
-
The sales is for specific titles, though. I've only gone through a few screens, but I've already got six DVDs in my cart!
-
And now, it's sleepy time for me.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all.
-
It’s an early one for me because I have to be at the dermatologist at 8:00 for a Procedure.
I had one spot that was squamous cell so it gets removed via “Mohs” surgery. I’ll be back this afternoon. With a bandage!
-
Good morning to everyone. Hope everyone has a great day
-
Good morning, all!
-
It was a rough night. I'd rather be in bed, but I couldn't sleep, so I'm up.
-
I'm going in to City Center today. I look forward to it.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning
-
Just had a bowl of oatmeal with fresh raspberries and blueberries and some slivered almonds
-
Finishing up my coffee
-
Tuesday morning greetings! It's an at-home day for me, which is very welcome after a busy one yesterday.
-
Good morning!
-
Congrats to DR JohnG!
-
Tom, congrats on the new (to you) desk PC!
Ditto.

It is on your face. Suprisingly I have not had to have a Mohs proceedure yet. Good luck. Everyone I know who has had them are pleased with the results.

Vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.
-
The new computer and the tech....I think I saw a video like that once, but it had a different ending.....
-
TOD:
I liked Downton Abbey The Movie, and I still want to see Ad Astra and Judy.
Haven't gotten into any of the new series yet although I like the one about the choir director.....
-
Rehearsal vibes for MR BK & Co.
-
DR JRand, I have answers to a couple of questions you'd asked:
1) We still have the recliner and have incorporated it, for now, into our living room. It doesn't match the style of that room, but it's accessible if when we find someone who can haul it out of here.
2) This will be my first winter with my new car. I got it at the end of May of this year.
-
T.O.D.
I don't go to the movies any longer. Don't enjoy the experience.
If there is a movie I want to see, I wait for it to come out on DVD, then I rent it at Redbox.
Thus far this year, there has been very few films that even interest me.
I'll rent ONCE UPON A TIME IN...HOLLYWOOD when it hits Redbox in December. There are also a few others that look interesting (e.g. the Judy Garland movie, Scorsese's new gangster movie, etc.).
I don't know if it's me or if the movies have changed in recent years, but back in the day, I go to a film once or twice a week.

I have seen comments that the Getty is in danger of burning down, yet the news keeps reporting it is surrounded by firefighters. I have always figured it would have been built to be safe from fires. Well, it seems I am correct.

Home having lunch after a particularly busy morning at work
-
Cream of pumpkin soup with sunflower seed kernels and hemp seed kernels and Penzeys smoked Spanish paprika sprinkled on top
Also a toasted tortilla spread with avocado mixed with Penzeys sunny Paris.
-
I've got a ticket to go see the band I've been following in the East Village on Sunday night the 17th .
-
I received a discount code in the mail for Scotland PA and I just impulsively bought a ticket for the matinee on the 17th
-
I saw the movie some years ago, this is a musical version
-
It's the Scottish play modernized to take place in Pennsylvania and the parties are vying for control of a burger joint
-
listening to Chopin : preludes Sonata No 2
-
It's a grey and rainy day and the hot lunch and music are cheering me immensely
-
I think I shall return to the office feeling much invigorated
-
I'm up, I'm up - seven hours of sleep.
-
The sales is for specific titles, though. I've only gone through a few screens, but I've already got six DVDs in my cart!
Well, I ended up ordering seven, count 'em, SEVEN titles! Hopefully, they'll get here quickly. I also gave the information to the library selectors. They all expressed interest!

I really liked Judy, but not Ad Astra.
-
This is what I wrote about Ad Astra:
I'm back. Well, Ad Astra got an 83% from reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes (https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/ad_astra)...but only 43%** from the audience. :o
**I wrote this on September 24. Now, it's down to 40%!
-
And then I wrote:
Margo and I don't disagree with the audience rating. ::)
;)
-
Your mileage may vary. :)
-
And now, it's time for...
-
3hree!!!

It sounds good.

Oh, oh. If you didn't like Ad Astra I doubt we will. I do want to see Judy.

Interesting.

And I am home from City Center and under attack from three hungry kittens. My left leg is killing me.
-
And I am back from the Mohs suite at the dermatologist, free of bad cells but with stitches and a face that will be swelling up like crazy for the next day or so. Glad to have it done, though.
-
Vibes you are pleased once it has healed.
-
I feel like people that ten years ago I never thought I'd be when someone passes away. While I wish it had been one of the other more vile Talkin Broadway owners. I still can't figure out when Jackass Viertel stuck City Center and its attorney into this, but there is no doubt that he did. And why after it was quiet February 2014, that crew made it start allover again fall 2016. Here's my note to Ann Miner. I said I only wished he suffered half as much as I have, so I hope that's kindness.
Ann -
I only hope he suffered even half as much as what you, he and VJ have put me through.
Never finished this, but in tribute to that animal.

I love you, Fred, but you have got to let go of this.

You should be looking great for Trick or Treat!
-
Well, it's time for me to leave work and head to Seattle! I need to get my niece's car (her car is newer than mine), and she needs something done with her chicken coop. Easy payment for the use of her car. ;)
Be back later with a report! However, it'll probably after the new day, though, but we'll see.
-
Have a great evening.
-
Our condo association sent us a nice reminder to set our clocks back & a list of recommended things to do like changing the batteries in our smoke & carbon monoxide detectors.
All good advice, except it says to change the clocks back before going to bed on Sunday, November 3rd.
-
That chicken condo must be looking pretty chi-chi by now.
Driving vibes for DR GEORGE.
DR VIXMOM I haven't thought of SCOTLAND PA for a long time....but it was most entertaining - I think I read it....but I don't think I saw it....a musical version might be most entertaining.
-
Good grief how could I have forgotten ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD.... which I enjoyed to a point....
Thanks to DR DRUXY for reminding me of this title.
-
DR CHAS SMITH I hope you canceled your closeup.
Where has MR BK been today?
Three inches of snow in Chicago predicted......
-
I love you, Fred, but you have got to let go of this.
I've been ready and anxious to let go of this for years. I said over and over let it be brought by the New York Human Rights agency without retaliation. But the retaliation has been endless by City Center's attorney Elliot Brown. I've been ready to stop for years. It ended Feb. 2014, when there was a hearing against the Datalounge site, which was the only site still allowing the stalking that City Center videographer Jonathan Frank started three years earlier.
He started up again inexplicably fall 2016. Jennifer Tepper who works for Tom Viertel started joining it in theTimes comments. Then also with City Center's lawyer, Julie filed a fraudulent claim of physical violence April 2018 that she lied had happened in summer 2011. Funny, she kept working 7 years and never had mentioned it to anyone.
And of course what would it be without an In Memoriam - for the human rights retaliation laws Mike Reynolds had a leading role in killing?

I knew this round of obsessive persecution was coming on this afternoon when Joshie told me he wished you would take him off your email list in your rather constant barrage of City Center emails because he had just received another. You are only hurting yourself, and I hate seeing you do this.
-
I shall now be on my way to the theater for production meetings and rehearsals.

Larry, I'm sorry you can't accept this, that I am not imagining that what Jack did for City Center caused millions of dollars in damage, mainly by the City center lawyer involving my sister-in-law and my brother and nephew.
Anyone has felt free to block my emails at any time, which no one has been shy about doing when they wanted to. The marketing director who took over for Hawley Abelow did that.
Or to write to me asking to be taken off. A few people have asked and were simply taken off the list, and of course I did that, only addressing them when they were directly involved.

I saw that movie. Grizzly fun. Want a report on the musical. Please.

Just as I get ready to leave for there. Oh, joy.
-
I really enjoyed Blinded by the Light at the theater. I still want to see Downton Abbey and Western Stars. Maybe in Chicago. To stay warm.
-
I am trying to remember what 2019 films we saw this year. I wish I had a list of rentals from Redbox.
-
We enjoyed Avengers: Endgame.
-
We saw Toy Story 4 at the movies and enjoyed it even though we haven't seen any of the previous 3 films.
-
Captain Marvel.
Late Night with Emma Thompson
-
Aside from Judy I want to see Zombieland: Double Tap.
-
Best tv movie was Deadwood: The Movie.
-
GOOD OMENS: MINISERIES

Best tv movie was Deadwood: The Movie.
Can't wait to see that. On reserve at the library.
-
Hi, jan!
-
Home from dancing. Ready for the rest of Dolemite.
-
Joy is starting a new month of adult ed classes. The first class had 15 in it. The second had 18. There was hardly any room on the floor.
-
Really enjoying Stephen King's latest, The Institute. I think I like his stories in which children are the main characters better.

I suggest looking at photos of the actors today before watching, just so you immediatly recognize them.
-
Back from rehearsal - act one is blocked.
-
Got some In 'n' Out on the way home - very good.
-
Caught up on e-mails and am now relaxing and listening to music.
-
Page four? REALLY?
-
Get me off this damn page.
-
Listening to the always interesting music of Frenchman Charles Koechlin.
-
There was tons of stuff on the Tube of You so I just grabbed it all with my grabber.
-
And then I wrote...
-
Why I oughta...
-
Good evening.
-
What? Page 4? Still?
-
What? Page 4? Still?
Perhaps I should have sad again.
-
I hope George is enjoying MISS SAIGON.
-
I am sure the ending will come as a big surprise, to anyone who has never heard of MADAME BUTTERFLY.
-
My friend, Sharry’s husband played The Engineer in a production of MISS SAIGON locally. It was a wonderful production, even though they didn’t buy a real helicopter for the show.
-
I am not making my headway.
-
Tonight is going to be our coldest night, so far.
-
The capital city, Olympia (near George’s home) is expected to be down to 19 degrees.
-
That is very cold for the Northwest in October.
-
We are expecting about 26 degrees at my home.
-
But this is the last realy cold night for a while.
-
One more post.
-
Page five!
-
At last!
-
I totally forgot that today was Tuesday.
-
It was very windy here today. Is it also windy there?
-
It is currently 36 degrees.
-
Tuesday is the day for the discount on my CBD topical cream.
-
Oh well, I can still get my old-age discount.
-
It is currently 36 degrees.
It is currently 28 degrees at my house.
-
It was windy earlier today.
-
They are now saying we will have a low of 24 degrees tonight.
-
Page five is most unseemly.
-
I blame George.
-
I blame Jose.
-
I blame Canada.
-
We need some postings right about now.
-
Before I change the topic.
-
Reach out and touch someone.
