George, you are a very brave man!
Either that or you're crazy.
George, where's mine?
Course, I would expect a full meal, not just desert.
George, you are a very brave man!
I know it looks kind of weird, but I just want to see in my kitchen. And since they're LED and there's no ballast, they're silent!
I hope your sister gets proper instruction and stays at her own home, TCB.
Good idea, Elmore.
Dr Glickman, the urologist, just called me. The hospital is opening up next week for surgeries and my two surgeons wanted to know if I was ready to go back to two days in hospital. I suggested the week of May 25. I want to know things are settling down/
Friends who have been ready to ignore the virus invited me out to dinner Friday. I said I wasn’t open yet.
In all the years I've been buying from Amazon, I believe this is only the second or third time I've had to request a return or a refund for something.
The little devil sitting on my shoulder holding his little pitchfork just whispered a suggestion in my ear:
When I see the credit and get the confirmation that I'm definitely not returning the bags, I should at least try one. Because who knows, maybe it'll cram in there and work just fine. I actually think it probably won't. But we'll see.

If they don't fit properly it could mess up your vacuum cleaner so be careful before using it.
Vibes for DR TCB's sister!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I also did my weekly shopping today. The store has one-way aisles but I noticed several people not paying attention. I have to admit that I walked partially down the wrong way (without my cart) in one of the aisles since no on else was in that particular one.
Still can't find soft soap or anything like it. I do have bar soap so that will do for now.
I'm so glad to have Facetime, Messenger Video, etc during this time. I've spoken to my friends in Scotland, Greece, and California in the last few days.
DR George, congratulations on your new lights. I wouldn't know where to begin.
HA! Nice work DR GEORGE!
The kitties are learning how to climb the fence. They get about halfway up and sort of run/fall/scramble down.
And I have to work when I could be watching preciousness at play.
DR CHAS SMITH there's a mail place in Studio City that handles Amazon returns quickly if you want to do it in person.
And I have to work when I could be watching preciousness at play.
Food came and is now in my stomach. I did Jack in the Box, just for fun and low dough. I had the only things I like there - breakfast Jack and two of their weird taco things, along with a few onion rings. Pretty fun.

In today's exciting news, I just submitted my request for an Amazon return! -- for which the site told me I don't even have to return the item, the refund is on its way back to my card. Mind you, that was nearly ten minutes ago and I haven't received the confirming email. So, we'll see.
Oh. I didn't tell you dear readers what this exciting item is.
Vacuum cleaner bags.
Yes, you read that right. Vacuum cleaner bags. A generic replacement for Sears bags that, in spite of the product number for both the bags and the machine matching up, along with every other element of the description, these are actually about twice the width of the originals. So forget it. I'll pay the damned money for the right product.

I agree.

Jack-in-the-Box Ultimate Cheeseburger. That is all.
My family just pulled into the driveway. I passed a dozen homemade rolls through the window and a box of blocks. They handed me a cassava cake.
Grandson looked and looked at me. I hope he remembers me.
I ordered some cloth masks from someplace in California.....and they have already been shipped. Much nicer than the paper ones I have been wearing.....and washable.....
I expect them to be here Thursday or Friday.
Gasoline is now $1.30 per gallon in my neck of the woods.
George, I have a few repair projects in case you have time for some more home improvements to take on.
So, if anyone is around at 8:00 CA time, go to the Kritzerland Upstairs at Vitello's page - we're going live and doing a little test and I'm gonna sing a little song. Let's have some watchers. It will also be live on my YouTube page, which is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BYHuIVw7zw
Live in five, baby, but of course no one is here to even see the damn post.
Jane, they call most days and we see him play. Often the tv is on, and we can't compete with Peppa Pig.
You'll understand that in a year and a half.
But the worst part was, I was supposed to be in an online rehearsal for Mamma Mia! :o I totally missed that! I e-mailed and apologized, but I haven't heard back from them, yet. :-\
Those pieces of wood were from pants hangers with the wires removed. Anyway, it took me a couple of tries to put up the first light fixture. I had to take down the first plate and move the whole thing over one inch so that the fixture itself would fit in the alcove. I did all of that on Sunday. Today, I put up the second fixture (measuring more carefully) and it all works! Here's the finished look! :D
Krista said she found where it happened. Mom fell in the bathroom and cut open the back of her head. She had blood everywhere. Krista said it looked like an amateur cleaned up a crime scene. The hospital didn't even really try to clean the wound or the blood out of the hair. Krista said it was just a big ball of mess. Anyway, mom is healthy - at least we know that. Krista gave her a shower and she sounded good when I talked to her today
George, you can still see it on Facebook. Just go to the Kritzerland Upstairs at Vitello's page and it's archived there.
Thanks George, it is good news, actually. My brother was livid last night when I talked to him, Today he was laughing about it. And we have a baseline on everything. She's healthy. I think part of it is just dealing with grief. She's lonelier at night than she thought she would be. After 59 years of marriage, it's a big adjustment. Her memory is shot right now, but her life has been turned upside down. She's lost a child and a husband in 105 days. All things considered she's doing fabulously

Really nice! Love the photo of your sister and her chicken!

The picture is actually my niece, but thanks, Cillaliz! She loves the chickens as much as they seem to love her.

oops sorry about that George, my brain is fried, but I can't sleep immediately after writing for so many hours

Oops.
Spoo! Fortunately, the director did e-mail me and said that it's all good. Whew!! He said that they "basically met for about 25 minutes and talked about the idea of wanting to create each member's back story...where they came from, what is their relationship with the other islanders. Which of the Dynamos do they know, do they know or are they friendly with Sophie or her friends, or the young men on the island...."
I'm hoping I can get a good night's sleep tonight
