Well, you've read the notes, the notes were remastered and the difference was subtle - so subtle that it wasn't even noticeable, and now it is time for you to post until the remastered cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: EPIZEUXIS!
Smoke on your pipe and put that in.
-
I'm now cutting out the pie dough circles. :)
-
Good night.
-
Good night, Tom and BK.
-
Well, it's all assembled and ready to go in the oven. I'll post a picture then since I'll have to wait up, anyway.
-
It's now in the oven. I had to guess on the temperature and baking time. As I frequently say, "I'll be what it'll be." ;)
-
Still listening to music.
-
For anyone who's thinking about getting the remix on It Might Be Fun, I need one customer to purchase and then I want to do a test of how I'm going to send the file - ultimately I'm hoping it will be via the site, but until that happens I want to use Hightail or Dropbox as a test. With Hightail, you have to compress into a zip file, then when that's downloaded and opened it's full-resolution again. These will be WAV files, which, unlike FLAC, are uncompressed and a clone of the actual recording with no loss in quality. But they're large files.

I'd love to test the process, BK.

Okay, PayPal ten to the Kritzerland address and we'll try the Hightail route.
-
Well, to quote Mrs. Lovett..."Here we are now. Hot out of the oven!"
-
Okay, PayPal ten to the Kritzerland address and we'll try the Hightail route.
Okay. Hang on.
-
That's the kritzerland at adelphia dot net address.
-
Thanks. I just sent a PM for clarification. ;D
-
Sent!
-
I just sent an additional PM - need your preferred e-mail and then I've mentioned what to do when you get the file - did you send to adelphia.net?

Yes.
-
Well, I can see Hightail ain't the way - nine more minutes. So, wait for them.
-
I suspect downloading from Dropbox would be faster.
-
Well, I can see Hightail ain't the way - nine more minutes. So, wait for them.
Okay...I got nothing else to do. ;)
-
Six minutes.
-
Exciting!
-
Went UP to eight minutes but it doesn't look like it has that much to go. But I'm also sending a Dropbox link and let me know if you can download from that link. Then you can just nuke one of them into the trash.

Okay.
-
Six minutes now.
-
I got the Dropbox link.
-
Five. Slowwwww. Sent you the Dropbox link.
-
Will that allow a download?
-
Direct download?
-
About three minutes left via Hightail.
-
Are there only supposed to be six (6) tracks?
-
Direct download?
Yes. There's a drop-down box to pick either "Direct Download" or "Save to My Dropbox."
-
17 tracks.
-
Oh. There are only six tracks in what I downloaded.
-
WAIT! I refreshed the Dropbox page and more tracks are showing up!
-
Ah, it hasn't finished uploading to Dropbox so nuke what you downloaded - you'll have the Hightail in less than a minute. This is FUN.
-
You should have the Hightail now.
-
Tracks have been nuked.
-
You should have the Hightail now.
Got it!
-
It should unzip quickly.
-
Yup! They sound good. I'll have to listen to them with headphones later to really hear them.
-
Loud's the best way so headphones are good for that.
-
It's 2:20 in the morning, and I'm in between two other apartments, so loud without headphones will NOT be happening!
-
I haven't listened to the original CD in a while. I forgot how much I really like the CD!
-
The new mix is what it always should have been - I'm over the moon with these new mixes. The clarity, depth, and cleanness is astounding to me. You can hear every ounce of Lanny's orchestration, but the big thing is that it sounds like Capitol Room A now and that's what I wanted and what we failed at those years ago.
-
And the new sequence works so much better and having Simply and This Christmas (also remixed) made the flow even better.
-
I'm just now at Simply.
-
Now I'm on Maybe Something More.
-
:)
-
Gratuitous Post #50!
-
Keep on going :)
-
Keep on going :)
I had to wrap up the pie and turn off all the lights downstairs, but now I'm back to listening while playing solitaire.
-
Up to Three Acts.
-
Almost done.
-
And then you can compare to the CD at some point. When the new mixes came in, I always listened to the CD mix first, then the remix. That way it was so obvious that the new mixes put the old to shame in every way.
-
And with Two Roads, I've listened and thoroughly enjoyed the entire downloaded album with the two bonus tracks! :D
-
I'll have to find my CD. ::) I know it's somewhere.
-
Well...
-
...we can't stop here! So, let's not!
-
3hree!!!
-
Good morning, all!
-
High temperatures and humidity, so I'm staying in today.
-
Hi, Larry!
-
I have nothing to report this morning. I slept well, the cats behaved for the most part, and Annabelle stayed with me all night.
-
I don't have any plans today. I've almost finished my latest pass through the A&T book, and I like the current state of it. I want to go back to one chapter I worked on yesterday. I think I might have painted myself into a chronoligical corner.
-
Hi, Larry!
DR George! Have you been up all night?
-
Last night the cats and I watched The Funny Ladies of British Comedy. It was fun, but it could have been better.
-
Hi, Larry!
DR George! Have you been up all night?
Yup! But no longer! 8)

Today, the family is getting together for my dad's birthday. I'll bring the Pick Your Flavor Pie. I hope the individual pieces come apart. I suppose you could cut it into regular pie pieces and have multiple flavors. That might be fun and tasty! We'll see what people want!
-
Thanks, again, for the Sandy Bainum tracks, BK! ;D
-
Good night, Larry. I'm now, I'm off to bed.
Have a good day, all!

It looks pretty.
-
I wish I had been awake last night for the conversation regarding Sharry. I knew her husband had died but nothing more than that.
Tom, I am glad you were able to spend time together in person.
-
I wish I was still sleeping. I woke up at 3:30.
-
I think Caligula's mother killed EPIZEUXIS so that Caligula could become emperor.
-
TOD:
Tchaik's First in B Flat Minor.
-
Good morning!
-
Looks like DR Jane will be hitting a major milestone very soon!
-
Good morning.
-
I had a glorious hike this morning. It was only about 85 degrees. Last week it was 94 at 5:30 a.m.
-
I scared up a nighthawk in the wash.
-
Every morning I scan the previous late night posts for a photo of TCB's new cat.
-
Good morning, all.
-
I not only slept in, I had the best and most restful sleep of this whole past week. Needed that.
-
BK, who actually screws up the orders? Is it the restaurant or the delivery service, or has it been both?
-
We have a few days of nice hot weather again. Each time this happens you wonder if it'll be the last. But it's only (ONLY???) August 22, so there's probably plenty of every variety ahead of us.
The first yellow early-falling leaves have begun to fall. No matter when that happens each year, it always seems like it's way too early.

TOD
Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat minor
Grieg: Piano Concerto in A-minor
Ravel: Piano Concerto in G
Gershwin: Piano Concerto in F

Saturday afternoon greetings! For the first time in 6 months, I'm having my hair cut this afternoon. Tina reassures me that they're taking every precaution, including masks, and that at my appointment time, the only people working in the shop will be her and Deb the nail tech.
-
TOD - Mozart, Piano Concerto No. 21 in C

Four!

Good afternoon, all.

Really? Wow, this makes 99979 posts. I think I talk too much.
-

Lovely.
-
Jane's heading for a BIG achievement.
-
It's hard to know who's screwing up the orders - I'm not sure how they get to the restaurant and certainly the Postmates seem to just take what they're handed without checking, but I'm not sure THEY know what the order actually was. So, must be the restaurants.
-
I'm up, I'm up - six and a half hours of sleep.
-
I gotta tell you.
-
My favorite piano concertos:
Rachmaninov two, three, and four.
Robert Ward
Poulenc concerto for two pianos and orchestra
The two Ravel concertos
I also enjoy the Prokofiev and Shostakovich concertos.
Many others.
-
TOD:
The Ravel concertos
Gershwin Piano Concerto in F
Beethoven's piano concertos, especially No. 5
Schumann's
Grieg's in A Minor

Gratuitous post No. 100!
-
Up from a nap.
-
I have booked tickets for next Sunday, free day at the Speed Art Museum, for Mom and me to see the Warhol exhibit. I missed it last year in Chicago, so it will be nice to catch it.
-
Been doing show stuff. Food is ordered but won't be here for an hour.
-
Hello, everyone.
-
I seem to be fighting a cold. No surprise when I try to get the apartment cool, only to walk into the bathroom, which is like a sauna, then go back into the cold. I didn't sleep well, either, and am happy to stay in. Another hot day. Ugh!
-
I purchase a lot of take-out, but usually pick it up myself. Lots of delivery people these days. Where I go it's considered the responsibility of the restaurant to get the order right AND to make sure the order goes to the right driver. One place has a sign up, telling the drivers to not just grab a bag. The drivers have the order on their phones--at least from what I have seen. Of course, the order software could have a glitch, giving the restaurant an incorrect order.
-
I suspect not all restaurants are as careful and can see where a driver could easily pick up the wrong order. Everyone's in a hurry.
-
Definitely the Rach Two.
-
I have no news.
TTFN.

Keith does not get sick from those changes but I do. It is the chill that gets me. I am sorry your apartment is that drastic of a difference.
Feel better soon.

We met friends at Fort Vancouver today. Sitting under the trees in the park setting was lovely. Sitting 12 feet apart wearing masks seemed a bit more than needed, and difficult for me to hear. Still we had a very nice time.

DR JANE is in the stretch!
-
Very warm day here.....but pleasant.
My sister and her husband bought some kind of new whatchamacallit and edged my lawn all along the sidewalks and driveway....it looks very nice.
I did the toothpaste treatment on my sister's RAV 4 headlights and then also on the PT Cruiser - all of them look so much better.
BUT I will say that Ultra Brite does a much better job than COLGATE.

Watched a movie. Thinking about another.
-
Let's move on ...
-
Five.
-
Statement of fact.
-
A full evening of Rummikub.
-
Mom wanted to hear some Tennessee Ernie Ford tonight, so I asked Alexa.
-
Her response was weird.
-
Yes, she had some Ford hymns, which is what Mom enjoys, and some Ford pop songs, including a really fun boogie-woogie.
-
But there was also an episode of Ford's radio show where he presented a hayseed version of The Mikado. His singers were great and Ford's jokes instead of the libretto were pretty good.
-
But for some reason, Alexa played the end of the show first and then the beginning. Go figure.
-
Good night, all.
-
Finished with my viewing and back to Barbirolli doing Sibelius - the first symphony.
-
I'd only eaten a sandwich from Daughter's Deil - the turkey, Swiss, and coleslaw - very good - so I went to Gelson's and discovered they have a small version of the Wolfgang Puck Caesar salad, so I got that and some prosciutto and melon for my evening repast, which I'm eating now.

Hi, Jane!
-
George, stand by - perhaps Jane will achieve a new achievement and we can have a partay!
-
I hope I can preserve it! My wi-fi/Internet is wonky and I'm on my phone right now.
-
Whew! My Internet is back!!
-
I also just got a text from Tom a little bit ago, saying that HIS Internet isn't working! :o
-
He hopes that he'll be able to log on later.
-
I'm listening to Sandy Bainum again!
-
Still not LOUDLY. ::)
-
;)
-
Well, Jane only has to post 12 more posts to reach her momentous millstone!
-
Tomorrow, I'm going with my mom and dad to the local casino for a while.
-
I, of course, don't know how long we'll be there.
-
After we get back to their house, I'm going to change a door knob for them.
-
So, hopefully, if Jane reaches her plateau while I'm gone, someone here will be able to record the moment!
-
OR, once Jane does get there, she'll stop posting until someone can preserve it.
-
Hopefully. :)
