George, I meant those you didn't show the shirt to at work that might pissibly be on FB with you.

Is that your reaction to the shingles shot? And it's the second shot that does this?
One person I know who went through that was one of our wonderful cast members who dragged herself to a rehearsal one evening and it was all she could do to function. But she hadn't missed a rehearsal or performance in all of her years, and she wasn't about to start then.
The best news I can impart to you is that the next day she was fine.
Oh......I have a new grand nephew.....with no name as yet.
I have yet to get my shingles shot- they never have them when I go in.....
Line out...... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

A glue stick is NOT Chapstick no matter how much it may look like it if you are not wearing your glasses.
DR ELMORE - the Dream-o-Matic 6000 says that your dream indicates that you feel you have a variety of talents to sell and appreciate the open market. It also says that you feel that some folks "get by" less on their talents than crony-ism or unearned reputation.

That's possible, but they wouldn't care, either. They all feel the same way.
I had a very bad night of it. Fever, shakes, aches, running hot and cold, headache.
Annabelle is so lucky I would never do this to her.

The Washington Post has a fun article on presidents who could and couldn't dance. I love this photo.

I haven't gotten the shingles shot either, but I will. I'll just know to make sure I've got a few days in which to not feel like doing anything.

I am sorry. Are you feeling better today? Vibes the second shot won't be as uncomfortable.
After reading the responses I am confused if this is your first or second one.

That is what we did. Fortunately the side efforts weren't too bad. The worst part was the arm pain after the first one.
~~~GOOD RESULTS VIBES~~~ for DR Jeanne!
Given all the news yesterday, some of you may have missed this:
Melania actually wore FLATS!! That's right. She boarded the plane out of DC in her usual stilettos (and designer suit), but landed in Florida wearing wearing flats and an almost-muumuu. Quite a transformation. Does this mean a new Melania is in the works?
And safer, probably, from a COVID standpoint. At least right now.
So, my sister is saying that she heard/read paper masks are much more effective against the new coronavirus strains than cloth masks. Anyone else encounter the same?
Results vibes for DR JEANNE.
Yes I am fine.....I knew something was wrong the moment it touched my oh so sensitive lips - so there wasn't much to wipe off....
But of course all day now I have been thinking about Rita Marlowe and Stay Put lipsticks.....
The arm pain isn’t as bad as the first was.
Today's ultrasound was uneventful. The traffic to Beverly Hills was very light. What a change! The technician told me that three of the staff, out of maybe 10, have been redeployed to Covid. I know that a lot of patients have been putting off medical care due to Covid, so maybe the redeployment isn't as bad as it seems. I'll be glad when we can go back to normal.
Stress can be a funny thing. It's so insidious. I've been well aware of my loathing for Trump, but I'm wondering now if his ugliness and shenanigans have caused many of us more stress than we even realized.
I do hope that the return of normalcy in the White House lets everyone breathe a little easier. We could all use that after four horrible years.
I don't expect to get any results until next week.
Thanks, Sing, but I know there's a problem and another procedure will be needed. They can't schedule it until the surgeon evaluates today's results. It'll be another outpatient surgery and, though not pleasant, it won't be too major, either. This doctor has his own little OR and his own nurses, so it's much easier than going to a hospital.
I saw the muumuu. Ugh and ugly. Like something that even Peggy Lipton wouldn''t have worn on Mod Squad.
Sorry you are not feeling well, DR John G.
I didn't have any reaction whatsoever to either of my two Shingrix shots. I count myself fortunate.
Had dinner, but I think I need to head back to bed.
No viewing tonight. Muse Margaret called and loved the final batch of pages up until the final two, which she HATED. Very similar to her reaction to the final chapter of Rewind. She said she thought maybe it was her and I should have someone else look at it, but I just kept hammering away at her to get to the root of the problem and once we did I saw exactly why she was so bothered by it. We talked it through, figured out how to fix it, and she went and ate dinner while I fixed it. It's funny to me, but it involved rewriting one long speech and adjusting the half-page that follows it. And doing that changed the entire tone and feeling of the ending and she was so right about it. And then I wrote a two page additional chapter, which I'd thought about doing originally and my initial instinct was right. Then I read her the changes and she loved it - left her feeling good and our protagonist remained true to himself. And that's why she's the Muse.
Two masks are better than one.
Her new lover prefers her to wear flats.
I had three friends who had the shingles vaccine, that passed away.
The other night I decided I would try watching THE BOYS IN THE BAND. After all, in March it will be 51 years ago when I saw the original Off-Broadway production and hated every minute of it.
I made it a little more than a third through the film, before I had to shut it off. I thought the cast was very good, as was the original cast, but I just think the play is horrible.
The whole idea is ridiculous. Henry Fonda and Richard Burton tried to mount an all-male version, but Albee refused to allow it.
Oh, no! :( Did they die from shingles...or from the vaccine??
