LOL! I can’t stop laughing at that second ad for THE KING AND I. I don’t believe Yul ever grabbed Deborah that way in the film.
Chili size is a burger covered in chili but no bun, just a big plate, usually with onions - I used to have it all the time, although never at Kentucky Boys.
And the word of the day is: STEUPS!
Some weird things are going on with my hands. I'm consideringbecoming a hand modelbuying a wrist brace.

Power is back. But for how long? An ice storm alert for San Antonio and Austin is in effect until Thursday.
It's karma time, baby.
Oh the mail truck's parked in the middle of the street.

This must be sung to the tune of Mr. Perry Como's song: "The railroad goes through the middle of the house....."
Thanks, DR elmore3003! Oh yes, I'm fine. I'm feeling some weirdness in my hands. I suspect I'm clenching unconsciously during the night. I think a brace might help.

Hope it lasts, DR John G! Ice storms are the worst.
I am relieved you cancelled. How is JB handling the cooler temps in your home?
DR George - thanks for the link to America's Test Kitchen. Such a wealth of information! I have seen the show on television occasionally.

I agree - cancel the whole transaction and ask the bank to change your debit card number.

My red velvet cake turned out okay.....okay.....
So I have made an appointment with another chiropractic office for5:30 today
Thanks DR JANE. I only knew of Perry's version - I think it was on the flip side of the 45 rpm record of "Glendora."
We canceled Ash Wednesday services because of the weather. Smart idea.

I’ll be the judge of that. Waiting for my slice.

They did a live version in San Antonio back when Christopher whats-his-name was still with the show. It was fun. I ushered for and then bought their 50-pound cookbook.
My local Walmart has opened up vaccine appointments. I made one for myself.....TOMORROW.... My sister and I are both going.
So I get my first shot tomorrow.

I always found Christopher creepy. Now he's on a cooking program called Milk Street. Don't ask me why.

What is your inside temp?
What is your inside temp?
It's probably in the low 60s. I've got multiple layers of clothing on, and the heater is giving it its best.
It helped that it got into the low 40s today outside. Lots of the snow melted, and the ice melted, too. But we're supposed to have a snow or ice storm tonight. What is your inside temp?

That isn't as bad as I expected.
I don't want to go back to reading while the power is on. But I also don't feel like starting a movie.

That looks pretty but unfortunately I dropped the cost on a chiropractor appointment instead as they don’t accept my insurance

You know, once again I have to question your priorities. A Dutch oven that you need a strong back in order to use or a strong back?
I hope I just fixed the problem causing my phone battery to drain. If not I will have to decide if I want to replace the battery. I would like the new mini iPhone, however, as far as I can tell the problem connecting to hearing aids as not been fixed yet.

So, I went into the pharmacy and picked up my meds. The staff and I joked about how much he actually entered, and I said he was probably off to Florida by now on my debit card. I told them that when I got home, I'd check my bank account online and see if I was charged $9.70 or something else. Well, the bastard gave himself a $20.00 tip. $29.70 was charged to his cab.
I just got off the phone with my bank from filing a complaint.
We have the bowl water advisory in effect. I'm getting emails that there's a run on gasoline. Who knows what else.
Wow, DR John G. It sounds like an apocalyptic world down there.

Did you mean "boil water"? Otherwise, it's a rather unsavory image.

Well, I missed a vaccination opportunity today. I'm on a list to be called if Kaiser has any left over vaccinations for the day and when they called, I was in rehearsal. I picked up the phone, but I was told I had to be there in 20 minutes and there was not way. Maybe if I had been prepared to run out the door, I would have made it. Anyway, my name is still on the list and I've alerted both directors of both shows that if I get a call during rehearsal again, I am ending the Zoom meeting immediately and getting in my car.
Anyway, according to San Mateo County, they are opening up the next tier for teachers next week, so it may all work out. Til then, business as usual!
I found out from friends that their H-E-B was closed. No power. No nothing.

I used to use enameled cast iron pots to cook with. They were lovely, but HEAVY! Yes, you need a strong back. I must use lighter cookware these days. Not that I cook much anymore.

Singdaw, are you familiar with the Incrediwear products? I'm forever spraining/straining my wrists. I have two wrist braces, but it's the Incrediwear brace I wear the most. It's very comfortable to wear.
Hope your hands feel better soon.

Well, he is dead.
I must say that Dean John-Wilson, who plays the young lover Lun Tha has the largest boobs of anyone in the entire cast. He was not in the New York production.
